This thesis offers a descriptive study on assessing interpre... Quality in simultaneous interpreting is a frequently discussed concept. In the enterprise setting, earnings conference call remains a rarely explored field. This thesis offers a descriptive study on assessing interpreting quality from perspectives of fidelity, fluency, and appropriacy. As the corpus, Tencent 2022 Third Quarter Result Announcement provides an ideal transcript to the author to conduct its analysis. Interpreting is frequently done without bearing in mind the multitude of factors that can affect the quality of interpreting. Drawing a conclusion that the interpreter does make a lot of omissions, pauses and hesitations posing a negative effect on the fidelity, fluency and accuracy of the interpreting, the present author suggests that more preparation should be done for improving performance, such as terminologies, company background information, a reasonable speech rate, good image and acoustic quality, and so on. 展开更多

As China strives towards the second centenary goal,increasing attention is being paid to environmental pollution and other related issues.Concurrently,with the rapid development of big data technology,many big data solutions have been applied to environmental pollution control audits,exerting a significant impact.This paper presents the current situation of environmental pollution audits,summarizing the application of big data from the perspectives of both domestic and international research.In terms of data collection and data analysis for environmental pollution audits,cloud platform technology,and visualization technology are selected based on multiple data sources.The impact in the field of environmental pollution control audits is further analyzed.It is found that the environmental pollution audit cloud platform is not yet perfect,the technical skills of audit personnel are insufficient,and some technologies are not mature.Relevant suggestions are put forward to provide a reference for the future development of big data technology and its integration with environmental pollution control audits. 展开更多

Interpreting activity is considered a high-anxiety activity due to its immediacy, multitasking, complexity of cognitive processing, and uncertainty of cognitive processing. Research has shown that interpreting anxiety, as the biggest emotional obstacle in the interpreting process, is the main emotional factor that leads to individual differences in interpreting. Students often claim to have fear or anxiety behaviors in interpreting exams, interpreting competitions, and interpreting classes. However, the research on interpreting teaching attaches importance to the cultivation of language knowledge, cultural knowledge, and interpreting skills, and does not pay enough attention to emotional factors such as motivation and anxiety in interpreting learning, which makes it difficult for the cultivated interpreters to meet the requirements of professional practice. In recent years, virtual reality technology (VR) has been gradually applied in the field of foreign language and interpreting teaching for creating a real, interactive and experiential language learning environment. Situated Learning Theory stresses that the fundamental mechanism for learning to take place is for individuals to participate in the real context in which knowledge is generated, and to realize the construction of knowledge through the interaction with the community of practice and the environment. Virtual reality technology can satisfy the needs of language learners for real contexts by providing learners with immersive, imaginative and interactive scenario simulations, and has a certain positive effect on alleviating learning anxiety. Therefore, relying on the virtual simulation course “United Nations Kubuqi International Desert Ecological Science and Technology Innovation International Volunteer Language Service Practical Training System”, this paper adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative analyses to investigate the interpretation anxiety level of the interpreter trainees and the factors affecting them in the VR situation to help them discover effective responses to interpreter anxiety. 展开更多

User Station Security Protection Method Based on Random Domain Name Detection and Active Defense

The power monitoring system is the most important production management system in the power industry. As an important part of the power monitoring system, the user station that lacks grid binding will become an important target of network attacks. In order to perceive the network attack events on the user station side in time, a method combining real-time detection and active defense of random domain names on the user station side was proposed. Capsule network (CapsNet) combined with long short-term memory network (LSTM) was used to classify the domain names extracted from the traffic data. When a random domain name is detected, it sent instructions to routers and switched to update their security policies through the remote terminal protocol (Telnet), or shut down the service interfaces of routers and switched to block network attacks. The experimental results showed that the use of CapsNet combined with LSTM classification algorithm can achieve 99.16% accuracy and 98% recall rate in random domain name detection. Through the Telnet protocol, routers and switches can be linked to make active defense without interrupting services. 展开更多

Magnesium(Mg)alloys,the lightest metal construction material used in industry,play a vital role in future development.However,the poor corrosion resistance of Mg alloys in corrosion environments largely limits their potential wide applications.Therefore,a micro-arc oxidation/graphene oxide/stearic acid(MAO/GO/SA)superhydrophobic composite coating with superior corrosion resistance was fabricated on a Mg alloy AZ91D through micro-arc oxidation(MAO)technology,electrodeposition technique,and self-assembly technology.The composition and microstructure of the coating were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction,energy dispersive spectroscopy,and Raman spectroscopy.The effective protection of the MAO/GO/SA composite coating applied to a substrate was evaluated using potentiodynamic polarization,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy tests,and salt spray tests.The results showed that the MAO/GO/SA composite coating with a petal spherical structure had the best superhydrophobicity,and it attained a contact angle of 159.53°±2°.The MAO/GO/SA composite coating exhibited high resistance to corrosion,according to electrochemical and salt spray tests. 展开更多

A longstanding quest in material science has been the development of superhydrophobic coating based on a single material, without the requirement of fluorination or silane treatment. In this work, the micro-arc oxidation(MAO) coating as transition layer can effectively enhance the bonding force of the superhydrophobic coating. The semiconductor@metal organic frameworks(MOFs) core-shell structure was synthesized by a simple self-templating method, and obtained ZnO@2-methylimidazole zinc salt(ZIF-8) nanorods array on magnesium(Mg)alloy. ZnO nanorods not only act as the template but also provide Zn^(2+) for ZIF-8. In addition, we proved that the ligand concentration,synthesis time and temperature are the keys to the preparation of ZnO@ZIF-8 nanorods. As we expect, the ZnO@ZIF-8 nanorods array can trap air in the gaps to form an air layer, and the coating exhibits superhydrophobic properties(154.81°). Excitingly, ZnO@ZIF-8 nanorods array shown a superhydrophobic property, without the requirement of fluorination or silane treatment. The results shown that the coating has good chemical stability and self-cleaning performance. Meanwhile, the corrosion resistance has been significantly improved, R_(ct) was increased from 1.044×10^(3) to 1.414×10^(6) Ω/cm^(2) and I_(corr) was reduced from 4.275×10^(-5) to 5.611×10^(-9)A/cm^2. Therefore, the semiconductor@MOFs core-shell structure has broad application prospects in anti-corrosion. 展开更多

Plasma electrochemical oxidation (PEO) is a surface modification technology to form ceramic coatings on magnesium alloys However,its application is limited due to its defects.This work reports a novel preparation of in-situ sealing of PEO coatings by four-layer voltage and sol addition.The morphology and structure were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM),energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS),and X-ray diffractometer (XRD).Image-Pro Plus 6.0 was used to determine the porosity of the coating,which was decreased from 8.53%to 0.51%.Simultaneously,the coating thickness was increased by a factor of four.The anti-corrosion performance of each sample was evaluated using electrochemical tests,and the findings revealed that the corrosion current density of coatings (i_(corr)) of the samples were lowered from 9.152×10^(-2) to 6.152×10^(-4) mA·cm^(-2),and the total resistance (R_(T)) of the samples were enhanced from 2.19×10^(4) to 2.33×10^(5)Ω·cm^(2).The salt spray test used to simulate the actual environment showed that corrosion points appeared on the surface of the coating only at the 336 h.In addition,the mechanism of PEO self-sealing behavior was described in this article. 展开更多

N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)is a dynamic and reversible epigenetic regulation.As the most prevalent internal post-transcriptional modification in eukaryotic RNA,it participates in the regulation of gene expression through various mechanisms,such as mRNA splicing,nuclear export,localization,translation efficiency,mRNA stability,and structural transformation.The involvement of m^(6)A in the regulation of gene expression depends on the specific recognition of m^(6)A-modified RNA by reader proteins.In the pathogenesis and treatment of liver disease,studies have found that the expression levels of key genes that promote or inhibit the development of liver disease are regulated by m^(6)A modification,in which abnormal expression of reader proteins determines the fate of these gene transcripts.In this review,we introduce m^(6)A readers,summarize the recognition and regulatory mechanisms of m^(6)A readers on mRNA,and focus on the biological functions and mechanisms of m^(6)A readers in liver cancer,viral hepatitis,non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD),hepatic fibrosis(HF),acute liver injury(ALI),and other liver diseases.This information is expected to be of high value to researchers deciphering the links between m^(6)A readers and human liver diseases. 展开更多

Organic phototransistors based on high-quality 2,8-dichloro-5,11-dihexyl-indolo[3,2-b]carbazo(CHICZ)single crystals show the highest photoresponsivity of 3×10^3 A W^-1, photosensitivity of 2×10^4 and the detectivity can achieve 8.4×10^14 Jones. We also discovered good linear dependence of log(photosensitivity) versus the wavelength when the devices were illuminated with a series of sameintensity but different-wavelength lights. Conjugated polymers with well-balanced ambipolar charge transport is essential for organic circuits at low cost and large area with simplified fabrication techniques.Aiming at this point,herein,a novel asymmetric thiophene/pyridine-flanked diketopyrrolopyrrole-based copolymer(PPyTDPP-2FBT)is designed and synthesized.Due to the effect of incorporating F atoms on molecular energy alignment and conjugation conformation,the PPyTDPP-2FBT copolymer exhibits typical V-shaped ambipolar field-effect transfer characteristics with well-balanced hole and electron mobilities of 0.64 and 0.46 cm^(2)V^(−1)s^(−1),respectively.Furthermore,organic digital and analog circuits such as inverters and frequency doublers are successfully constructed based on solution-processed films of the PPyTDPP-2FBT copolymers which show a typical circuit operating mode with a high gain of 133 due to the well-balanced electrical properties.In addition,PPyTDPP-2FBT-based devices also demonstrate good stability and batch repeatability,suggesting their great potential applications in organic integrated electronic circuits. 展开更多

The soybean E1 gene is a major regulator that plays an important role in flowering time and maturity.However,it remains unclear how cultivars carrying the dominant E1 allele adapt to the higher latitudinal areas of northern China.We mapped the novel quantitative trait locus QNE1(QTL near E1) for flowering time to the region proximal to E1 on chromosome 6 in two mapping populations.Positional cloning revealed Glyma.06G204300,encoding a TCP-type transcription factor,as a strong candidate gene for QNE1.Association analysis further confirmed that functional single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) at nucleotides 686 and 1,063 in the coding region of Glyma.06G204300 were significantly associated with flowering time.The protein encoded by the candidate gene is localized primarily to the nucleus.Furthermore,soybean and Brassica napus plants overexpressing Glyma.06G204300 exhibited early flowering.We conclude that despite their similar effects on flowering time,QNE1 and E4 may control flowering time through different regulatory mechanisms,based on expression studies and weighted gene co-expression network analysis of flowering time-related genes.Deciphering the molecular basis of QNE1 control of flowering time enriches our knowledge of flowering gene networks in soybean and will facilitate breeding soybean cultivars with broader latitudinal adaptation. 展开更多

Immediately after the demonstration of the high-quality electronic properties in various two dimensional(2D)van der Waals(vdW)crystals fabricated with mechanical exfoliation,many methods have been reported to explore and control large scale fabrications.Comparing with recent advancements in fabricating 2D atomic layered crystals,large scale production of one dimensional(1D)nanowires with thickness approaching molecular or atomic level still remains stagnant.Here,we demonstrate the high yield production of a 1D vdW material,semiconducting Ta2Pd3Se8 nanowires,by means of liquid-phase exfoliation.The thinnest nanowire we have readily achieved is around 1 nm,corresponding to a bundle of one or two molecular ribbons.Transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and transport measurements reveal the as-fabricated Ta2Pd3Se8 nanowires exhibit unexpected high crystallinity and chemical stability.Our low-frequency Raman spectroscopy reveals clear evidence of the existing of weak inter-ribbon bindings.The fabricated nanowire transistors exhibit high switching performance and promising applications for photodetectors. 展开更多

Background:Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC)is in urgent need of a second‐line or later‐line treatment strategy.We aimed to analyze the efficacy and safety of additional anlotinib,specifically anlotinib in combination with immunotherapy,in patients with PDAC who have failed first‐line therapy.Methods:Patients with pathological diagnosis of PDAC were additionally treated with anlotinib,and some patients were treated with anti‐PD‐1 agents at the same time,which could be retrospectively analyzed.The efficacy and safety of additional anlotinib were evaluated.Results:A total of 23 patients were included.In patients treated with additional anlotinib,the overall median progression‐free survival(PFS)was 1.8 months and the median overall survival(OS)was 6.3 months,regardless of anti‐PD‐1 agents.Among patients receiving additional anlotinib in combination with anti‐PD‐1 agents,median PFS and OS were 1.8 and 6.5 months,respectively.Adverse events(AEs)were observed in 16 patients(69.6%).In patients treated with additional anlotinib,the majority of AEs were grade 1–3.Univariate analysis revealed that patients with baseline red blood cell distribution width(RDW)<14%treated with additional anlotinib plus anti‐PD‐1 agents had significantly longer OS than patients with baseline RDW≥14%(p=0.025).Patients with additional anlotinib plus anti‐PD‐1 agents as second‐line therapy had a longer OS than those treated as later‐line therapy(p=0.012).Multivariate analysis showed that baseline RDW was the only independent risk factor for OS(p=0.042).Conclusion:The combination of anlotinib and immunotherapy represents an effective add‐on therapy with tolerable AEs as second‐or later‐line therapy in patients with PDAC,particularly in patients with baseline RDW<14%. 展开更多
