Vanadium-based compounds with high theoretical capacities and relatively stable crystal structures are potential cathodes for aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs).Nevertheless,their low electronic conductivity and sluggi...Vanadium-based compounds with high theoretical capacities and relatively stable crystal structures are potential cathodes for aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs).Nevertheless,their low electronic conductivity and sluggish zinc-ion diffusion kinetics in the crystal lattice are greatly obstructing their practical application.Herein,a general and simple nitrogen doping strategy is proposed to construct nitrogen-doped VO_(2)(B)nanobelts(denoted as VO_(2)-N)by the ammonia heat treatment.Compared with pure VO_(2)(B),VO_(2)-N shows an expanded lattice,reduced grain size,and disordered structure,which facilitates ion transport,provides additional ion storage sites,and improves structural durability,thus presenting much-enhanced zinc-ion storage performance.Density functional theory calculations demonstrate that nitrogen doping in VO_(2)(B)improves its electronic properties and reduces the zinc-ion diffusion barrier.The optimal VO_(2)-N400 electrode exhibits a high specific capacity of 373.7 mA h g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1)and stable cycling performance after 2000 cycles at 5 A g^(-1).The zinc-ion storage mechanism of VO_(2)-N is identified as a typical intercalation/de-intercalation process.展开更多
BACKGROUND:Several observational studies have shown an association between homocysteine(Hcy)levels and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),but causal relationships are not clear.Our study aimed to explore the ...BACKGROUND:Several observational studies have shown an association between homocysteine(Hcy)levels and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),but causal relationships are not clear.Our study aimed to explore the causal relationship between plasma Hcy and COPD by two-sample Mendelian randomization(MR).METHODS:A two-sample MR study was performed to infer the causal link.Genetically predicted plasma Hcy was selected as an instrumental variable(Ⅳ)from published genome-wide association study(GWAS)meta-analyses.COPD with different etiologies was extracted as outcome variables from other GWAS meta-analyses.The main MR analysis was performed using the inversevariance weighted(IVW)method.Additional analyses were further performed using Cochran’s Q-test and MR-Egger regression to evaluate the heterogeneity or horizontal pleiotropy of our findings.RESULTS:MR analysis showed no significant association between plasma Hcy and COPD.The results of the groups were consistent with the sensitivity analysis and repeated analysis,without heterogeneity or horizontal pleiotropy.The IVW results showed COPD hospital admissions(odds ratio[OR]1.06,95%confidence interval[CI]0.91-1.24,P=0.42),asthma/COPD(OR 0.97,95%CI0.89-1.06,P=0.55),COPD-related chronic infection(OR 1.50,95%CI 0.57-3.99,P=0.41),COPDI asthma/interstitial lung disease(ILD)-related pneumonia or pneumonia-derived septicemia(OR 0.93,95%CI 0.86-1.02,P=0.13),and COPD-related respiratory insufficiency(OR 1.00,95%CI 0.7-1.44,P=0.99).CONCLUSION:There is no direct causal relationship between plasma Hcy and COPD in our study.As Hcy is known to have deleterious effects on endothelial function and vascular homeostasis,further studies are needed to investigate whether additional factors mediate the association between Hcy and COPD.展开更多
Objective: To investigate the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic hysterectomy (LH) in early-stage malignant gynecological cancer. Methods: Data from patients who underwent surgical management for early-stage gynec...Objective: To investigate the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic hysterectomy (LH) in early-stage malignant gynecological cancer. Methods: Data from patients who underwent surgical management for early-stage gynecological cancer between 2009 and 2014 were retrospectively reviewed. Each woman gave her informed consent to be included into the study, which was previously approved by the local ethics committee and Institutional Review Board. Inclusion Criteria: All patients presented with stage I or II disease, and underwent comprehensive staging surgery consisting of hysterectomy or radical hysterectomy, with or without bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, with or without para-aortic lymphadenectomy, with or without omentectomy, and peritoneal cytology. Results: 345 patients who underwent laparoscopic surgery (201 cervical cancer cases, 110 endometrial cancer cases and 34 ovarian cancer cases) were identified. Surgery for none of the patients was converted from laparoscopy to laparotomy. The median patient age for early-stage of gynecological cancer was 48 years (range, 29 - 71 years). 87 (25.22%) of whom were elderly (>60 years);98 (28.41%) were obese (>30 kg/m2);164 (62.96%) were postmenopausal;103 (29.86%) had undergone previous abdominal surgery;96 (25%) had a history of medical disease. The median operative time and estimated blood loss were 3.5 hours (range, 2.5 - 5.5 hour) and 80 mL (20 - 200 mL), respectively. Intra-operative and postoperative complications occurred in 6 (1.74%) and 34 (9.86%). None of the patients occurred death. The interval to bowel movement and indwelling catheter were 3 days (range, 1 - 5 days) and 7 days (range, 5 - 11 days). The median postoperative hospital stay was 10 days (range, 6 - 18 days). The mean operating time and hospital days for cervical cancer was shorter;the estimated blood loss was lower;and the peri-operative complications were lower in the second stage (July 2012-May 2014) than in the first three years (May 2009-June 2012) in our department展开更多
Biomass energy has become an important measure to alleviate ecological environment security and energy supply security in China.Emergy accounting method is used to analyze and evaluate economy,environment,and sustaina...Biomass energy has become an important measure to alleviate ecological environment security and energy supply security in China.Emergy accounting method is used to analyze and evaluate economy,environment,and sustainability of corn straw generation system,which includes corn planting subsystem,collection and transportation subsystem,and corn straw power generation subsystem.The key substances that need to be optimized in the system are identified by using sensitivity analysis.Based on the position of key substances in the system,emergy accounting optimization methodology is conducted.Corresponding optimization design scheme is proposed based on the '3R' (reduce,reuse,and recycle) principle of circular economy.Current study shows that emergy yield ratio,emergy investment ratio,environmental loading ratio,and emergy sustainability index of the corn straw power generation system are 3.69,2.68,1.61,and 2.29,respectively,which are better than wind power generation system and thermal power generation system.In addition,it is proposed that the fertilizer alternative plan and the transportation redesign plan can replace 50,000 tons potash and reduce equipment resources by 20% and energy resources input by 30%.Economy and sustainable development of the system is significantly improved.The optimization design method based on the '3R' principle proposed in this paper can provide a useful reference for the research in the field of resource recycling.展开更多
Background Debates exist about the preference for single-or multiple-set resistance exercise(RE)on achieving similar training outcome,however,no study examined their effects on the heart,thus,this study was to examine...Background Debates exist about the preference for single-or multiple-set resistance exercise(RE)on achieving similar training outcome,however,no study examined their effects on the heart,thus,this study was to examine the effect of volume-matched single-and multiple-set RE on the myocardial response through examining rate pressure product(RPP).Methods Fourteen healthy untrained college students performed two leg press exercises(4×10 and 1×40 at 150%body mass)on different days,and each was performed twice in a counterbalanced crossover order.Pre-and post-exercise SBP and HR were measured by auscultatory method,RPP was calculated as SBP×HR×10^(-3),RPP difference(RPPdiff)was calcu-lated by post-exercise RPP subtracting pre-exercise RPP.Results Single-set post-exercise RPP(17.48±3.16 mmHg·beats/min),HR(123.86±20.25 beats/min)was significantly greater than multiple-set post-exercise RPP(13.66±3.04 mmHg·beats/min),HR(101.61±19.14 beats/min),respec-tively.There was no significant difference of SBP(141.07±9.37 vs.134.29±15.16 mmHg)between exercise protocols(P=0.13).The RPPdiff of single-set(6.74±2.86 mmHg·beats/min)was significantly greater than that of multiple-set(3.62±2.90 mmHg·beats/min)(P<0.001).Conclusions Single-set RE exerts a greater myocardial oxygenation response as compared to multiple-set,HR contributed more than SBP to the increase of RPP in RE.The results indicate that single-set RE can be warranted when wanting to train the heart,while multiple-set RE would appear best for those who should avoid heart stress.展开更多

The microspheres were characteriz...Amino-functionalized Fe3O4@mesoporous SiO/ core-shell composite microspheres NH2-MS in created in multiple synthesis steps have been investigated for Pb(Ⅱ) and Cd(Ⅱ) adsorption. The microspheres were characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), N2 adsorption-desorption, zeta potential measurements and vibrating sample magnetometer. Batch adsorption tests indicated that NH2-MS exhibited higher adsorption affinity toward Pb(Ⅱ) and Cd(Ⅱ) than MS did. The Langmuir model could fit the adsorption isotherm very well with maximum adsorption capacity of 128.21 and 51.81 mg/g for Pb(Ⅱ) and Cd(Ⅱ), respectively, implying that adsorption processes involved monolayer adsorption. Pb(Ⅱ) and Cd(Ⅱ) adsorption could be well described by the pseudo second-order kinetics model, and was found to be strongly dependent on pH and humic acid. The Pb(Ⅱ)- and Cd(Ⅱ)-loaded microspheres were effectively desorbed using 0.01 mol/L HC1 or EDTA solution. NH2-MS have promise for use as adsorbents in the removal of Pb(Ⅱ) and Cd(Ⅱ) in wastewater treatment processes.展开更多

Here, we examined the diversity of fungi along a 1,000 m elevation gradient on Mount Nadu, Southwestern China. We used MiSeq sequencing to obtain fungal sequences that were clustered into operational taxonomic units(OTUs) and to measure the fungal composition and diversity. Though the species richness and phylogenetic diversity of the fungal community did not exhibit significant trends with increasing altitude, they were significantly lower at mid-altitudinal sites than at the base. The Bray-Curtis distance clustering also showed that the fungal communities varied significantly with altitude. A distance-based linear model multivariate analysis(DistLM) identified that soil pH dominated the explanatory power of the species richness(23.72%),phylogenetic diversity(24.25%) and beta diversity(28.10%) of the fungal community. Moreover, the species richness and phylogenetic diversity of the fungal community increased linearly with increasing soil pH(P<0.05). Our study provides evidence that pH is an important predictor of soil fungal diversity along elevation gradients in Southwestern China.展开更多
Scientific knowledge of lunar lithologies was first acquired in the 1960s-1970s.The space race between the United States(U.S.)and Soviet Union has promoted numerous manned and robotic lunar exploration missions.Utiliz...Scientific knowledge of lunar lithologies was first acquired in the 1960s-1970s.The space race between the United States(U.S.)and Soviet Union has promoted numerous manned and robotic lunar exploration missions.Utilizing datasets from these missions,the first series of lunar geologic maps was prepared and published by the U.S.Geological Survey(USGS)The definition of lunar geological features in these maps was mostly based on morphological characteristics but lacked lithological constraints owing to the incompleteness of the compositional datasets avail-able.After two decades of silence,a new era of lunar exploration began in the 1990s when the Galileo spacecraft flew by the Moon during its gravity-assisted maneuvers.The very successful orbital missions,the Clementine and Lunar Prospector(LP),provided the first global geochemical and mineralogical(multispectral,gamma ray,neutron,etc.)datasets of the lunar surface.展开更多

文摘In this paper,we study some kinds of generalized valuations on MTL-algebras,discuss the relationship between the cokernel of generalized valuations and types of filters on MTL-algebras.Then,we give some equivalent characterizations of positive implicative generalized valuations on MTL-algebras.Finally,we characterize the structure theory of quotient MTL algebras based on the congruence relation,which is constructed by generalized valuations.The results of this paper not only generalize related theories of generalized valuations,but also enrich the algebraic conclusion of probability measure,on algebras of triangular norm based fuzzy logic.
