AIM: To investigate the effects on telomerase activity of transfection of human T-STAR gene full-length sense cDNA or partial antisense cDNA into human colon cancer cell line HCT-116.METHODS: mRNA and protein expression levels of T-STAR gene were determined by RT-PCR and western blot, and telomerase activity was measured by PCR- ELISA, after transfection of T-STAR sense or antisense gene into HCT-116 cells with lipofectamine. RESULTS: T-STAR gene expression was enhanced or knocked down both at mRNA and protein levels, and telomerase activity was significantly increased or decreased. CONCLUSION: The T-STAR gene may participate in regulation of telomerase activity in human colon cancer HCT-116 cells in a parallel fashion. 展开更多

辐照交联聚烯烃绝缘电线作为一种环保电线,其绝缘断裂伸长率偏低会造成长期使用中绝缘破损而降低使用寿命以及原材料浪费而使产品成本上升。为此,提出了该六西格玛改进(DMAIC)项目,通过定义、测量、分析、改进、控制各阶段层层推进,将WD... 辐照交联聚烯烃绝缘电线作为一种环保电线,其绝缘断裂伸长率偏低会造成长期使用中绝缘破损而降低使用寿命以及原材料浪费而使产品成本上升。为此,提出了该六西格玛改进(DMAIC)项目,通过定义、测量、分析、改进、控制各阶段层层推进,将WDZC-BYJ-105辐照交联聚烯烃绝缘电线绝缘断裂伸长率合格率水平由原来的87.5%提升至99.5%,基本消除了不合格现象,并且过程能力指数C_(pk)>1.33,可维持过程改进成果。由此表明本次DMAIC改进效果显著。 展开更多

Chiglitazar(Carfloglitazar)is a novel non-thiazolidinedione(TZD)structured peroxisome proliferatoractivated receptor(PPAR)pan-agonist that has shown promising effects on glycemic control and lipid regulation in patients with type 2 diabetes in previous clinical studies.This randomized phase 3 trial aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of chiglitazar with placebo in patients with type 2 diabetes with insufficient glycemic control by strict diet and exercise alone.Eligible patients were randomly assigned to receive chiglitazar 32 mg(n=167),chiglitazar 48 mg(n=166),or placebo(n=202)once daily.The primary endpoint was the change in glycosylated hemoglobin A_(1c)(HbA_(1c))at week 24 with superiority of chiglitazar over placebo.The results showed that both chiglitazar 32 and 48 mg resulted in significant and clinically meaningful reductions in HbA_(1c),and placebo-adjusted estimated treatment differences at week 24 for chiglitazar 32 and 48 mg were-0.87%(95%confidential interval(CI):-1.10 to-0.65;P<0.0001)and-1.05%(95%CI:-1.29 to-0.81;P<0.0001),respectively.Secondary efficacy parameters including glycemic control,insulin sensitivity and triglyceride reduction were also significantly improved in the chiglitazar groups.The overall frequency of adverse events and study discontinuation attributable to adverse events were similar among the groups.Low incidences of mild edema and body weight gain were reported in the chiglitazar dose groups.The results from this phase 3 trial demonstrated that the PPAR pan-agonist chiglitazar possesses an overall good efficacy and safety profile in patients with type 2 diabetes inadequately controlled with lifestyle interventions,thereby providing adequate supporting evidence for using this PPAR pan-agonist as a treatment option for type 2 diabetes. 展开更多

The magnesium aluminum and zinc aluminum layered double hydroxides intercalated with NO3^- (MgAl-NO3-LDH and ZnAl-NO3-LDH) were prepared by the coprecipitation method, and the magnesium aluminum and the zinc aluminum layered double hydroxides intercalated with VO; (MgAl-VOx-LDH and ZnAl-VOx-LDH) were prepared by the anion-exchange method. Morphologies, microstructures and chemical compositions of LDHs were investigated by SEM, EDS, XRD, FTIR, Raman and TG analyses. The immersion tests were carried to determine the corrosion inhibition properties of MgAl-VOx-LDH and ZnAl-VOx-LDH on AZ31 Mg alloys. The results showed that ZnAl-VOx-LDH possesses the best anion-exchange and inhibition abilities. The influence of treatment parameters on microstructures of LDHs were discussed. Additionally, an inhibition mechanism for ZnAl-VOx-LDH on the AZ31 magnesium alloy was proposed and discussed. 展开更多
