Electrocatalytic overall water splitting(OWS),a pivotal approach in addressing the global energy crisis,aims to produce hydrogen and oxygen.However,most of the catalysts in powder form are adhesively bounding to the electrodes,resulting in catalyst detachment by bubble generation and other uncertain interference,and eventually reducing the OWS performance.To surmount this challenge,we synthesized a hybrid material of Co_(3)S_(4)-pyrolysis lotus fiber(labeled as Co_(3)S_(4)-p LF)textile by hydrothermal and hightemperature pyrolysis processes for electrocatalytic OWS.Owing to the natural LF textile exposing the uniformly distributed functional groups(AOH,ANH_(2),etc.)to anchor Co_(3)S_(4)nanoparticles with hierarchical porous structure and outstanding hydrophily,the hybrid Co_(3)S_(4)-p LF catalyst shows low overpotentials at 10 m A cm^(-2)(η_(10,HER)=100 m Vη_(10,OER)=240 mV)alongside prolonged operational stability during electrocatalytic reactions.Theoretical calculations reveal that the electron transfer from p LF to Co_(3)S_(4)in the hybrid Co_(3)S_(4)-p LF is beneficial to the electrocatalytic process.This work will shed light on the development of nature-inspired carbon-based materials in hybrid electrocatalysts for OWS. 展开更多

There were few reports about the comparison of serum miR-21 with conventional tumor markers. This study aimed to explore the diagnostic value of circulating miR-21 as a tumor marker in breast cancer (BC) and compare it with CA15 3 and carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). Methods: Circulating miR-16 and miR-21 were amplified and quantitatively detected by real-time PCR in 89 BC patients and 55 healthy controls. The levels of CA153 and CEA were measured through assays. Then the sensitivity in diagnosis of BC was compared among miR-21, CA153 and CEA. Results: The level of serum miR-21 was significantly higher in BC patients than controls (P〈0.001). The sensitivity and specificity of miR-21 were 87.6% and 87.3%, respectively, whereas the sensitivities of CEA and CA153 were only 22.47% and 15.73%. Con^lusions: Compared with CEA and CA153, serum miR-21 has a higher sensitivity in diagnosis of BC. Although not correlated with the status of ER, PR and clinical stages, serum miR-21 may be a potential diagnostic indicator for BC, especially for the early stage. 展开更多

Age-related osteoporosis is associated with the reduced capacity of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) to differentiate into osteoblasts instead of adipocytes. However, the molecular mechanisms that decide the fate of BMSCs remain unclear. In our study, microRNA-23a, and microRNA-23b (miR-23a/b) were found to be markedly downregulated in BMSCs of aged mice and humans. The overexpression of miR-23a/b in BMSCs promoted osteogenic differentiation, whereas the inhibition of miR-23a/b increased adipogenic differentiation. Transmembrane protein 64 (Tmem64), which has expression levels inversely related to those of miR-23a/b in aged and young mice, was identified as a major target of miR-23a/b during BMSC differentiation. In conclusion, our study suggests that miR-23a/b has a critical role in the regulation of mesenchymal lineage differentiation through the suppression of Tmem64. 展开更多

The present study was undertaken to investigate the re... Growth differentiation factor 11 (GDF11) is an important circulating factor that regulates aging. However, the role of GDF11 in bone metabolism remains unclear. The present study was undertaken to investigate the relationship between serum GDF11 level, bone mass, and bone turnover markers in postmenopausal Chinese women. Serum GDF11 level, bone turnover biochemical markers, and bone mineral density (BMD) were determined in 169 postmenopausal Chinese women (47-78 years old). GDF11 serum levels increased with aging. There were negative correlations between GDF11 and BMD at the various skeletal sites. After adjusting for age and body mass index (BMI), the correlations remained statistically significant. In the multiple linear stepwise regression analysis, age or years since menopause, BMI, GDF11, and estradiol were independent predictors of BMD. A significant negative correlation between GDF11 and bone alkaline phosphatase (BAP) was identified and remained significant after adjusting for age and BMI. No significant correlation was noted between cross-linked N-telopeptides of type I collagen (NTX) and GDF11. In conclusion, GDF11 is an independent negative predictor of BMD and correlates with a biomarker of bone formation, BAP, in postmenopausal Chinese women. GDF11 potentially exerts a negative effect on bone mass by regulating bone formation. 展开更多

Objective:To investigate the resistance profiles to antimicrobial agents of wound-isolated Pseudomonas(P.)aeruginosa among Chinese burn patients.Methods:Electronic databases and manual search were used to identify eligible studies published since 2010.The objectives were pooled resistance rates for eleven common antimicrobial agents,estimated by a random-effects model.Subgroup analyses were conducted by stratifying the studies into three four-year periods based on year of isolation.Results:A total of 35 studies were included.Gentamicin had the highest pooled resistance rate(56%,95%CI 48%-64%),while meropenem had the lowest pooled resistance rate(29%,95%CI 20%-40%).There was an increasing trend of resistance to common antimicrobial agents of wound-isolated P.aeruginosa over a span of twelve years(2009-2020).There remained the highest risk of gentamicin resistance over time in China.Subgroup analyses indicated significantly higher resistances to ceftazidime and levofloxacin from 2017 to 2020.Conclusions:Enhanced resistance to common antimicrobial agents in wound-isolated P.aeruginosa presents a challenge in burn wound management in China's Mainland.Effective stewardship programs should be established based on corresponding resistance profiles,thereby optimizing treatment options for hospitalized burn patients. 展开更多

Multicharged supramolecular assemblies based on luminescent macrocycle play an important role in extending their optical properties and functions.Herein,we reported macrocyclic supramolecular assemblies based on luminescent terphen[3]arene sulfate(TP[3]AS)and tetraphenylethylene pyridinium(TPE-4Py)through electrostatic interactions,host-guest encapsulation andπ-πstacking interactions.F?rster resonance energy transfer(FRET)process from TP[3]AS to TPE-4Py was achieved with the energy transfer efficiency of 99.9%,accompanied by TPE-4Py fluorescence emission bathochromic shifted of 15 nm and enhanced by 1.68 times in PBS solution.In contrast,other non-luminescent sulfato-β-cyclodextrin and sulfobutylether-β-cyclodextrin only can enhance the fluorescence intensity of TPE-4Py without bathochromic shift.Due to the strong fluorescence and good stability of TPE-4Py@TP[3]AS,it can be used for optical imaging in living cells,which provided an effective approach for the construction of assembling-confined luminescent biomaterials. 展开更多

The low-cost and scalable printable mesoporous perovskite solar cells(p-MPSCs) face significant challenges in regulating perovskite crystal growth due to their nanoscale mesoporous scaffold structure, which limits the improvement of device power conversion efficiency(PCE). In particular, the most commonly used solvents, N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF) and dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO), have a single chemical interaction with the precursor components and high volatility, which is insufficient to self-regulate the perovskite crystallization process, leading to explosive nucleation and limited growth within mesoporous scaffolds. Here, we report a mixed solvent system composed of methylamine formaldehyde(MAFa)-based ionic liquid and acetonitrile(ACN) with the strong C=O–Pb coordination and N–H···I hydrogen bonding with perovskite components. We found that the mixed solvent system is beneficial for the precursor solution to homogeneously penetrate into the mesoporous scaffold,and the strong C=O–Pb coordination and N–H···I hydrogen bonding interaction can promote the oriented growth of perovskite crystals. This synergistic effect increased the PCE of the p-MPSCs from 17.50% to 19.21%, which is one of the highest records for p-MPSC in recent years. Additionally, the devices exhibit positive environmental stability, retaining over 90% of the original PCE after 1,200 h of aging under AM 1.5 illumination conditions at 55 ℃ and 55% humidity. 展开更多

Background:Programmed cell death 1(PD-1)and programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1)inhibitors have become integral elements within the current landscape of breast cancer treatment modalities;however,they are associ-ated with interstitial lung disease(ILD),which is rare but potentially fatal.Notably,only a few studies have compared the difference in ILD incidence between PD-1 and PD-L1 inhibitors.Therefore,this study aimed to assess the discrepancies regarding ILD risk between the two immune checkpoint inhibitors.We also reported three cases of ILD after PD-1 inhibitor treatment.Methods:We comprehensively searched PubMed,EMBASE,and the Cochrane Library to identify clinical trials that investigated PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor treatment for patients with breast cancer.Pooled overall estimates of incidence and risk ratio(RR)were calculated with a 95%confidence interval(CI),and a mirror group analysis was per-formed using eligible studies.Results:This meta-analysis included 29 studies with 4639 patients who received PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitor treatment.A higher ILD incidence was observed among 2508 patients treated with PD-1 inhibitors than among 2131 patients treated with PD-L1 inhibitors(0.05 vs.0.02).The mirror group analysis further revealed a higher ILD event risk in patients treated with PD-1 inhibitors than in those treated with PD-L1 inhibitors(RR=2.34,95%CI,1.13-4.82,P=0.02).Conclusion:Our findings suggest a greater risk of ILD with PD-1 inhibitors than with PD-L1 inhibitors.These findings are instrumental for clinicians in treatment deliberations,and the adoption of more structured diagnostic approaches and management protocols is necessary to mitigate the risk of ILD. 展开更多

The selection of chemical reactions is directly related to the quality of synthesis pathways,so a reasonable reaction evaluation metric plays a crucial role in the design and planning of synthesis pathways.Since reaction conditions also need to be considered in synthesis pathway design,a reaction metric that combines reaction time,temperature,and yield is required for chemical reactions of different reaction agents.In this study,a chemical reaction graph descriptor which includes the atom-atom mapping relationship is proposed to effectively describe reactions.Then,through pre-training using graph contrastive learning and fine-tuning through supervised learning,we establish a model for generating the probability of reaction superiority(RSscore).Finally,to validate the effectiveness of the current evaluation index,RSscore is applied in two applications,namely reaction evaluation and synthesis routes analysis,which proves that the RSscore provides an important agents-considered evaluation criterion for computer-aided synthesis planning(CASP). 展开更多

目的应用超声心动图评价阵发性心房颤动患者冷冻消融联合左心耳封堵(CA+LAAC)术前、术后左心房结构和功能的变化。方法选取2019年9月至2021年3月于辽宁省人民医院行“一站式”手术(CA+LAAC)的患者26例。所有患者分别于术前1周内、术后3... 目的应用超声心动图评价阵发性心房颤动患者冷冻消融联合左心耳封堵(CA+LAAC)术前、术后左心房结构和功能的变化。方法选取2019年9月至2021年3月于辽宁省人民医院行“一站式”手术(CA+LAAC)的患者26例。所有患者分别于术前1周内、术后3个月行超声心动图检查评价左心房的结构和功能。行常规超声心动图检查,测量常规超声心动图参数:左心房前后径(LAD)、左心房最大容积(LAVmax)、左心房最小容积(LAVmin)、左心室射血分数(LVEF)、左心室舒张早期二尖瓣口血流速度(E峰)、二尖瓣环侧壁和房间隔侧舒张早期运动速度的平均值(e')。并计算左心房最大容积指数(LAVImax)、左心房最小容积指数(LAVImin)、左心房射血分数(LAEF)、左心房扩张指数(LAEI)及E/e'。应用二维斑点追踪超声心动图(2D-STI)在心尖四腔心和心尖两腔心切面测量左心房应变参数:心室收缩期左心房储备期纵向峰值应变(PALSres),心室舒张早期左心房管道期纵向峰值应变(PALScond)及心室舒张晚期左心房泵功能期纵向峰值应变(PALSpump)。采用配对样本t检验比较术前与术后3个月超声心动图参数。结果与术前相比,CA+LAAC手术后3个月,LAD、LAVmax、LAVmin、LAVImax、LAVImin减小,差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.05),LAEF、LAEI、LVEF,PALSres、PALScond、PALSpump与术前相比均增大,差异均有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。结论CA+LAAC术后3个月,阵发性心房颤动患者左心房的结构和功能均得到改善和恢复,超声心动图对于评估心房颤动患者左心房结构和功能具有良好的应用价值。 展开更多

Background:Acute kidney injury(AKI)is a common and serious complication following lung transplantation(LTx),and it is associated with high mortality and morbidity.This study assessed the incidence of AKI after LTx and analyzed the associated perioperative factors and clinical outcomes.Methods:This retrospective study included all adult LTx recipients at the China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing between March 2017 and December 2019.The outcomes were AKI incidence,risk factors,mortality,and kidney recovery.Multivariate analysis was performed to identify independent risk factors.Survival analysis was presented using the Kaplan-Meier curves.Results:AKI occurred in 137 of the 191 patients(71.7%),with transient AKI in 43(22.5%)and persistent AKI in 94(49.2%).AKI stage 1 occurred in 27/191(14.1%),stage 2 in 46/191(24.1%),and stage 3 in 64/191(33.5%)of the AKI patients.Renal replacement therapy(RRT)was administered to 35/191(18.3%)of the patients.Male sex,older age,mechanical ventilation(MV),severe hypotension,septic shock,multiple organ dysfunction(MODS),prolonged extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO),reintubation,and nephrotoxic agents were associated with AKI(P<0.050).Persistent AKI was independently associated with pre-operative pulmonary hypertension,severe hypotension,post-operative MODS,and nephrotoxic agents.Severe hypotension,septic shock,MODS,reintubation,prolonged MV,and ECMO during or after LTx were related to severe AKI(stage 3)(P<0.050).Patients with persistent and severe AKI had a significantly longer duration of MV,longer duration in the intensive care unit(ICU),worse downstream kidney function,and reduced survival(P<0.050).Conclusions:AKI is common after LTx,but the pathogenic mechanism of AKI is complicated,and prerenal causes are important.Persistent and severe AKI were associated with poor short-and long-term kidney function and reduced survival in LTx patients. 展开更多
