The B-site ordering in RFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3)ceramics and its effect on magnetic properties

To insight into the B-site ordering in RFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3)ceramics,a series of RFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3)ceramics(R=La,Y,Lu)were synthesized by the sol-gel method,and the structural and magnetic properties were systemically investigated.By using the Rietveld refinement of all samples,it is found that the structural distortion is increased as the R ionic radius decreases,leading to the weakened interactions between Fe/Cr ions.Moreover,the Fe and Cr are arranged in disorder in LaFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3),but partially ordered in YFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3)and LuFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3),showing an increasing trend of the proportion of ordered domains with the decrease of R ionic radius.Through fitting the temperature-dependent magnetizations,it is identified that the magnetization reversal(MR)in disorder LaFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3)is resulted from the competition between the moments of Cr and Fe sublattices.In the partially ordered YFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3)and LuFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3)ceramics,because of the presence of Fe-O-Cr networks in the ordered domains whose moment is antiparallel to that of Fe-O-Fe and Cr-O-Cr in the disordered domains,the compensation temperature T_(comp)of MR is increased by nearly 50 K.These results suggest that the changing of R-site ions could be used very effectively to modify the Fe-O-Cr ordering,apart from the structural distortion,which has a direct effect on the magnetic exchange interactions in RFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3)ceramics.Then at values of composition where ordered domains are expected to be larger in number as compared to disordered domains and with a weaker structural distortion,one can expect a higher transition temperature Tcomp,providing a different view for adjustment of the magnetic properties of RFe_(0.5)Cr_(0.5)O_(3)ceramics for practical applications. 展开更多

As an open network architecture,Wireless Computing PowerNetworks(WCPN)pose newchallenges for achieving efficient and secure resource management in networks,because of issues such as insecure communication channels and untrusted device terminals.Blockchain,as a shared,immutable distributed ledger,provides a secure resource management solution for WCPN.However,integrating blockchain into WCPN faces challenges like device heterogeneity,monitoring communication states,and dynamic network nature.Whereas Digital Twins(DT)can accurately maintain digital models of physical entities through real-time data updates and self-learning,enabling continuous optimization of WCPN,improving synchronization performance,ensuring real-time accuracy,and supporting smooth operation of WCPN services.In this paper,we propose a DT for blockchain-empowered WCPN architecture that guarantees real-time data transmission between physical entities and digital models.We adopt an enumeration-based optimal placement algorithm(EOPA)and an improved simulated annealing-based near-optimal placement algorithm(ISAPA)to achieve minimum average DT synchronization latency under the constraint of DT error.Numerical results show that the proposed solution in this paper outperforms benchmarks in terms of average synchronization latency. 展开更多

As one of the main active components of Dendrobium catenatum, alkaloids have high medicinal value. The physicochemicalproperties, conserved domains and motifs, phylogenetic analysis, and cis-acting elements of the genefamily members in the alkaloid biosynthesis pathway of D. catenatum were analyzed by bioinformatics, and theexpression of the genes in different years and tissues was analyzed by qRT-PCR. There are 16 gene families,including 25 genes, in the D. catenatum alkaloid biosynthesis pathway. The analysis of conserved domains andmotifs showed that the types, quantities, and orders of domains and motifs were similar among members ofthe same family, but there were significant differences among families. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that thegene family members showed some evolutionary conservation. Cis-acting element analysis revealed that therewere a large number of light-responsive elements and MYB (v-myb avian myeloblastosis viral oncogene homolog)-related elements in these genes. qRT-PCR showed that expressions of gene family members involved in alkaloidsynthesis were different in different years and tissues of D. catenatum. This study provides a theoretical basisfor further exploration of the regulatory mechanisms of these genes in the alkaloid biosynthesis of D. catenatum. 展开更多

目的:通过网络药理学预测苎麻根治疗糖尿病出血潜在靶点的作用机制。方法:通过中药系统药理数据库和分析平台、GeneCards、TTD、OMIM等数据库获取苎麻根有效成分和已报道与糖尿病出血有关的靶标蛋白;利用Uniport数据库筛选获得相关基因... 目的:通过网络药理学预测苎麻根治疗糖尿病出血潜在靶点的作用机制。方法:通过中药系统药理数据库和分析平台、GeneCards、TTD、OMIM等数据库获取苎麻根有效成分和已报道与糖尿病出血有关的靶标蛋白;利用Uniport数据库筛选获得相关基因靶点;将药物与疾病的靶点基因通过Venny软件获取映射基因;通过Metascape数据库进行GO和KEGG富集分析;最后利用Cytoscape 3.10.1软件将其可视化,构建“苎麻根有效成分-核心靶点蛋白-代谢通路”网络图,并分析互作关系。结果:通过筛选,获取苎麻根有效成分27个,相关潜在靶点177个,其中与调控糖尿病出血相关的靶点共23个;通过PPI网络并筛选的得到5个关键靶点,这些靶点主要涉及Pathway in cancer、Nitrogen metabolism等63条生物学通路。结论:苎麻根治疗糖尿病出血存在多成分、多靶点、多通路协同作用,为苎麻根进一步治疗糖尿病出血的研究提供理论基础和新思路。 展开更多

Endoplasmic reticulum stress is closely involved in the early stage of diabetic retinopathy. In the present study, a streptozotocin-induced diabetic animal model was given an intraperitoneal injection of tauroursodeoxycholic acid. Results from immunofluorescent co-localization experiments showed that both caspase-12 protein and c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1 phosphorylation levels significantly in- creased, which was associated with retinal ganglion cell death in diabetic retinas. The C/ERB ho- mologous protein pathway directly contributed to glial reactivity, and was subsequently responsible for neuronal loss and vascular abnormalities in diabetic retinopathy. Our experimental findings in- dicate that endoplasmic reticulum stress plays an important role in diabetes-induced retinal neu- ronal loss and vascular abnormalities, and that inhibiting the activation of the endoplasmic reticulum stress pathway provides effective protection against diabetic retinopathy. 展开更多

The dwarf architecture is an important and valuable agronomic trait in watermelon breeding and has the potential to increase fruit yield and reduce labor cost in crop cultivation.However,the molecular basis for dwarfism in watermelon remains largely unknown.In this study,a recessive dwarf allele(designated as Cldf(Citrullus lanatus dwarfism))was fine mapped in a 32.88 kb region on chromosome 09 using F2 segregation populations derived from reciprocal crossing of a normal line M08 and a dwarf line N21.Gene annotation of the corresponding region revealed that the Cla015407 gene encoding a gibberellin 3β-hydroxylase functions as the best possible candidate gene for Cldf.Sequence analysis showed that the fourth polymorphism site(a G to A point mutation)at the 3′AG splice receptor site of the intron leads to a 13 bp deletion in the coding sequence of Cldf in dwarf line N21 and thus results in a truncated protein lacking the conserved domain for binding 2-oxoglutarate.In addition,the dwarf phenotype of Cldf could be rescued by exogenous GA3 application.Phylogenetic analysis suggested that the small multigene family GA3ox(GA3 oxidase)in cucurbit species may originate from three ancient lineages in Cucurbitaceae.All these data support the conclusion that Cldf is a GA-deficient mutant,which together with the cosegregated marker can be used for breeding new dwarf cultivars. 展开更多

BACKGROUND: Carotid artery is the main source for craniocerebral blood supply. Its intimal plaque formation and arterial stenosis degree both are the risk factors for ischemic cerebrovascular disease.Therefore, the close relationship of carotid atherosclerotic plaque and ischemic cerebrovascular disease, and ultrasound evaluation of carotid atherosclerotic plaque have become the hot spot in studying ischemic cerebrovascular disease.OBJECTIVE: This study was to detect the degree of carotid atherosclerosis of ischemic cerebrovascular disease patients by ultrasonography, and to analyze the situation of carotid atherosclerosis and its relationship with clinic.DESIGN: Clinical randomized concurrent control experiment.SETTING: Lintong Convalescent Hospital of Lanzhou Military Area Command of Chinese PLA.PARTICIPANTS: Totally 60 outpatients and inpatients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease, 42 males and 18 females, admitted to Lintong Convalescent Hospital of Lanzhou Military Area Command of Chinese PLA between January 2006 and December 2006 were involved in the patient group. They met the diagnosis criteria of ischemic cerebrovascular disease constituted by the 4th Cerebrovascular Disease Conference in 1996, and were confirmed to suffer from ischemic cerebrovascular disease by skull CT and MRI. Another 20 subjects who received healthy examination concurrently in the same hospital, 12 males and 8 females, were involved in the control group. Informed consents of detected items were obtained from involved subjects.METHODS: The plaque thickness of mid portion, distal end and crotch of common carotid artery (CCA),internal carotid artery (ICA), external carotid artery (ECA) and vertebral artery (VA) of involved subjects,who received health examination was separately detected with color Doppler ultrasonograph (HDI-5000).Then, total integral of plaque was calculated. The intima-media thickness (IMT) was measured with two-dimensional ultrasonography. The inner diameter stenosis degree of subjects who had plaque was measured. Blood flow parameters were recorded, and stenosis degree and plaque area were calculated. Blood flow volume of bilateral carotid artery and VA was separately measured with ultrasound equipment software,and brain blood flow volume was calculated.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Atherosclerotic degree and blood flow volume of patients of two groups.RESULTS: Sixty patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease and twenty subjects who received health examination participated in the final analysis. ①The IMT thickness, total plaque score, and total plaque area of patient group was significantly superior to that of control group, respectively( t=5.216 - 10.158, P 〈 0.05 ).② There were significant differences in the stenosis degree of CCA, ICA and VA between patient group and control group (t=6.720 - 12.816, P 〈 0.05 ) . ③ The blood flow volume of CCA, ICA, VA and brain of patient group was significantly lower than that of control group, respectively (t=2.872 - 10.860, P 〈 0.05).CONCLUSION: Ischemic cerebrovascular disease patients have different degrees of changes in atherosclerosis and arterial blood flow. 展开更多

The Gurtin-Murdoch surface elasticity theory is adopted to analyze the influences of surface stress on bending response of FG nanobeam. The material properties are assumed to vary along the thickness of FG nanobeam in power law. The bending governing equations are derived by using the minimum total potential energy principle and explicit formulas are derived for rotation angle and deflection of nanobeams with surface effects. Illustrative examples are implemented to give the bending deformation of FG nanobeam. The influences of the aspect ratio, gradient index, and surface stress on dimensionless deflection are discussed in detail. 展开更多

The availability of a well-characterized animal brain tumor model will play an important role in identifying treatments for human brain tumors. Wistar rats bearing 9L glioma cells can develop solid, well-circumcised tumors, and may be a useful animal model for the evaluation of various therapeutic approaches for gliosarcomas. In this study, the 9L/Wistar rat glioma model was produced by intracerebral implantation of 9L^LUC glioma cells syngenic to Fischer 344 (F344) rats. Bioluminescence imaging showed that tumors progressively grew from day 7 to day 21 in 9L^LUC/F344 rats, and tumor regression was found in some 9L^LUC/Wistar rats. Hematoxylin-eosin staining verified that intracranial tumors were gliomas. Immunohistochemistry results demonstrated that no CD4- and CD8-positive cells were found in the syngeneic 9L^LUC/F344 model. However, many infiltrating CD4- and CD8-positive cells were observed within the tumors of the 9L^LUC/Wistar model. Our data suggests that compared with 9L/F344 rats, 9L glioma Wistar rats may not be suitable for evaluating brain glioma immunotherapies, even though the model induced an immune response and exhibited tumor regression. 展开更多

[Method] A total of 56 E. turc/cum isolates from some areas of Yunnan Province were analyzed by RAPD. Based on the genetic distance, a dendrogram was constructed. [Result] Ten genetic groups were formed in the dendrogram. The RAPD groups had no obvious correlation with geographic origins. OBJECTIVE: To verify that microglial activation and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) expression is involved in RGC death with elevated lOP and prolonged time of glaucomatous optic nerve lesion in a DBA/2J mouse model of glaucoma. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: This randomized, controlled, animal experiment was performed at the Peking University Third Hospital, Peking University Eye Center, China between December 2006 and May 2008.MATEFIiALS: DBA/2J mice and C57BL/6J mice (Jackson Laboratory, USA), rat anti-mouse CD11 b monoclonal antibody (Serotec, UK), and goat anti-TNF-α polyclonal antibody (Sigma, USA) were used in this study.METHODS: A total of 100 female, DBA/2J mice at 3, 6, 9, 12, and 14 months of age (20 mice per age group) were used for the glaucoma model, and 18 C57BL/6J mice at 3, 9, 14 months of age (6 mice per age group) were used as normal controls. The anterior segment of the eye was observed using a slit-lamp biomicroscope, lOP was measured using a microneedle system. Morphology and number of retinal microglia were observed using immunohistochemistry. RGCs were quantified using Nissl staining. Co-localization of TNF-α and microglia was observed using double-labeling immunofluorescence. Excavation of the optic nerve head was observed utilizing hematoxylin-eosin staining. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The following parameters were measured: lOP levels, numbers of RGCs and activated microglia, and TNF-α expression. RESULTS: In 6-month-old DBA/2J mice, dispersed pigment was observed, and some mice developed increased IOP. At 9 months of age, lOP levels reached a peak. In 3-month-old DBA/2J mice, microglia were activated. In 6-month-old DBA/2J mice, the number of activated microglia was significantly increased and migrated to the outer retinal layer. In 9-month-old mice, TNF-a expression was co-localized with microglia. Significant RGC loss occurred in mice aged 9 to 14 months, with the presence of optic nerve fiber loss and optical nerve head excavation, lOP returned to normal levels at 12 months of age, but microglia remained activated, which was consistent with RGC loss. CONCLUSION: Retinal microglial activation was partially attributed to increased lOP. Activated microglia might be mainly responsible for RGC loss. TNF-α expression was evident in the inner retinal layer. However, the relationship between TNF-α and RGC loss remains poorly understood. 展开更多

BACKGROUND: It has been reported that activation and/or translocation of protein kinase C (PKC) is related to hyperalgesia, and changes in PKC expression in the dorsal horn of spinal cord take place during inflammatory pain. OBJECTIVE: To observe PKC changes in the dorsal horn of spinal cord using immunohistochemistry and to measure the time-course during persistent pain produced by chemical stimulation with a right hind-paw injection of formalin. DESIGN: Randomized controlled animal experiment. SETTING: Institute of Basic Medical Science, Hebei Medical University MATERIALS: The present experiment was performed at the Department of Pathophysiology, Institute of Basic Medical Science, Hebei Medical University between September 2000 and June 2002. Forty-two Sprague-Dawley rats, weighing 260-280 g, irrespective of gender, were provided by the Center of Animal Experimentation at Hebei Medical University. PKC antibody was provided by Sigma, USA. Immunohistochemistry kits were purchased from Zhongshan Biotechnology Company, Beijing. HPIAS-1000 definition multicolor system was provided by Qianping Wuxiang Project Company of Tongji Medical University. Animal use during experimentation was consistent with the standards of Animal Ethics Committee. METHODS: Sprague-Dawley rats were divided randomly into control (n = 6) and experimental groups (n = 36). Experimental rats were given an intracutaneous injection of 5% formalin into the planta surface of the right hind-paw. Animals with inflammatory pain were anesthetized and sacrificed to obtain the L5 spinal region at 1, 3, 12 hours, 1, 3, and 7 days after formalin treatment, with 6 rats in each time group. The spinal cords at the L5 region were collected from the control group following sodium chloride injections into the planta surface of the right hind-paw, identical to the experimental group. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Pain reaction of experimental rats after formalin treatment. PKC-positive neurons, and distribution of PKC-immunoreactive particles, in the ipsi- and contralateral dorsal horn were investigated during different stages of inflammatory pain using immunohistochemistry. RESULTS: All 42 rats were included in the final analysis, without any loss. Pain reaction: consistent with previous findings, it was determined that a unilateral injection of formalin into the hind-paw resulted in significant edema and induced a series of nociceptive responses, such as licking, biting, or shaking the injected paw. The maximal inflammation change was observed 1 day after formalin injection and changes did not disappear until the day 7. Number of the PKC positive neurons: results demonstrated that the number of PKC immunoreactive neurons in the dorsal horn increased slightly after formalin injection at 1 hour, compared with the control group. PKC immunoreactivity was up-regulated at day 1, reduced at day 3, and appeared to recover at day 7. The number of PKC-positive neurons in the contralateral side was less than the ipsilateral side at each time sampled. Distribution of PKC immunoparticles over the neurons: PKC immunoreactivity was observed in the nucleus and cytoplasm, as well as on or near the membrane of neurons and synaptosomes in the spinal cord of the control group. PKC activated and translocated from nucleus to the membrane-associated site following formalin treatment. Significant changes were observed at 1 hour and 1 day. The intensity of staining was stronger in the ipsilateral side than the contralateral side at all time points following formalin injection (P 〈 0.01), whereas the expression patterns of PKC immunoreactivity in the nuclei were very similar in the right and left hemispheres. CONCLUSION: PKC expression in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord peaked at 1 hour and 24 hours, and was very obvious at 24 hours. Protein kinase C expression in the spinal cord increased bilaterally, although it was greater in the ipsilateral hemisphere. In addition, PKC expression at the neuronal membrane and synaptosome was significantly increased. These results indicate that PKC expression is activated in the dorsal horn of the spinal cord during hyperalgesia. 展开更多

MIL-125 is a metal-organic framework with great potential for the adsorption and separation of xylene isomers.However,MIL-125 is usually synthesized under anhydrous and anaerobic conditions.In this study,homogeneously shaped and highly crystalline MIL-125 was synthesized by introducing water-resistant titanium-containing oligomers into the synthesis process.With the assistance of the novel oligomers,MIL-125 can be synthesized in the presence of water,which meets batch-production requirements.The adsorption separation performance of the obtained highly crystalline MIL-125 was also significantly enhanced.The para-xylene/meta-xylene selectivity can reach 13.5 in mesitylene,which is higher than the selectivity values of most previously reported para-selective adsorbents.The MIL-125 xylene separation performance was verified using both batch adsorption and breakthrough experiments in the liquid phase.In addition,the influence of the solvent effect was evaluated through microcalorimetric experiments,liquid-phase adsorption experiments,and theoretical calculations. 展开更多
