Diabetes has long been considered a risk factor in implant therapy and impaired wound healing in soft and hard oral tissues.Magnesium has been proved to promote bone healing under normal conditions.Here,we elucidate the mechanism by which Mg^(2+)promotes angiogenesis and osseointegration in diabetic status.We generated a diabetic mice model and demonstrated thealveolar bone healing was compromised,with significantly decreased angiogenesis.We then developed Mg-coating implants with hydrothermal synthesis.These implants successfully improved the vascularization and osseointegration in diabetic status.Mechanically,Mg^(2+)promoted the degradation of Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1) and the nucleation of nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) by up-regulating the expression of sestrin 2 (SESN2) in endothelial cells,thus reducing theelevated levels of oxidative stress in mitochondria and relieving endothelial cell dysfunction under hyperglycemia.Altogether,our data suggested that Mg^(2+)promoted angiogenesis and osseointegration in diabetic mice by regulating endothelial mitochondria metabolism. 展开更多

Compared with the extensively used ester‐based electrolyte,the hard carbon(HC)electrode is more compatible with the ether‐based counterpart in sodium‐ion batteries,which can lead to improved cycling stability and robust rate capability.However,the impact of salt anion on the electrochemical performance of HC electrodes has yet to be fully understood.In this study,the anionic chemistry in regulating the stability of electrolytes and the performance of sodium‐ion batteries have been systematically investigated.This work shows discrepancies in the reductive stability of the anionic group,redox kinetics,and component/structure of solid electrolyte interface(SEI)with different salts(NaBF_(4),NaPF_(6),and NaSO_(3)CF_(3))in the typical ether solvent(diglyme).Particularly,the density functional theory calculation manifests the preferred decomposition of PF_(6)−due to the reduced reductive stability of anions in the solvation structure,thus leading to the formation of NaF‐rich SEI.Further investigation on redox kinetics reveals that the NaPF_(6)/diglyme can induce the fast ionic diffusion dynamic and low charge transfer barrier for HC electrode,thus resulting in superior sodium storage performance in terms of rate capability and cycling life,which outperforms those of NaBF_(4)/diglyme and NaSO_(3)CF_(3)/diglyme.Importantly,this work offers valuable insights for optimizing the electrochemical behaviors of electrode materials by regulating the anionic group in the electrolyte. 展开更多

Functionally graded materials(FGMs)are a novel class of composite materials that have attracted significant attention in the field of engineering due to their unique mechanical properties.This study aims to explore the dynamic behaviors of an FGM stepped beam with different boundary conditions based on an efficient solving method.Under the assumptions of the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory,the governing differential equations of an individual FGM beam are derived with Hamilton’s principle and decoupled via the separation-of-variable approach.Then,the free and forced vibrations of the FGM stepped beam are solved with the transfer matrix method(TMM).Two models,i.e.,a three-level FGM stepped beam and a five-level FGM stepped beam,are considered,and their natural frequencies and mode shapes are presented.To demonstrate the validity of the method in this paper,the simulation results by ABAQUS are also given.On this basis,the detailed parametric analyses on the frequencies and dynamic responses of the three-level FGM stepped beam are carried out.The results show the accuracy and efficiency of the TMM. 展开更多

Developing efficient energy storage for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)by creating high-performance heterojunctions and understanding their interfacial interaction at the atomic/molecular level holds promise but is also challenging.Besides,sluggish reaction kinetics at low temperatures restrict the operation of SIBs in cold climates.Herein,cross-linking nanoarchitectonics of WS_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) heterojunction,featuring built-in electric field(BIEF),have been developed,employing as a model to reveal the positive effect of heterojunction design and BIEF for modifying the reaction kinetics and electrochemical activity.Particularly,the theoretical analysis manifests the discrepancy in work functions leads to the electronic flow from the electron-rich Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) to layered WS_(2),spontaneously forming the BIEF and“ion reservoir”at the heterogeneous interface.Besides,the generation of cross-linking pathways further promotes the transportation of electrons/ions,which guarantees rapid diffusion kinetics and excellent structure coupling.Consequently,superior sodium storage performance is obtained for the WS_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) heterojunction,with only 0.2%decay per cycle at 5.0 A g^(-1)(25℃)up to 1000 cycles and a high capacity of 293.5 mA h g^(-1)(0.1A g^(-1)after 100 cycles)even at-20℃.Importantly,the spontaneously formed BIEF,accompanied by“ion reservoir”,in heterojunction provides deep understandings of the correlation between structure fabricated and performance obtained. 展开更多

Cold trapped ions can be excellent sensors for ultra-precision detection of physical quantities,which strongly depends on the measurement situation at hand.The stylus ion trap,formed by two concentric cylinders over a ground plane,holds the promise of relatively simple structure and larger solid angle for optical access and fluorescence collection in comparison with the conventional ion traps.Here we report our fabrication and characterization of the first stylus ion trap constructed in China,aiming for studying quantum optics and sensing weak electric fields in the future.We have observed the stable confinement of the ion in the trapping potential for more than two hours and measured the heating rate of the trap to be dε/dt=7.10±0.13 meV/s by the Doppler recooling method.Our work starts a way to building practical quantum sensors with high efficiency of optical collection and with ultimate goal for contributing to future quantum information technology. 展开更多

Optimization algorithms play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and efficiency of systems across various scientific and engineering disciplines.To enhance the performance and alleviate the limitations of the Northern Goshawk Optimization(NGO)algorithm,particularly its tendency towards premature convergence and entrapment in local optima during function optimization processes,this study introduces an advanced Improved Northern Goshawk Optimization(INGO)algorithm.This algorithm incorporates a multifaceted enhancement strategy to boost operational efficiency.Initially,a tent chaotic map is employed in the initialization phase to generate a diverse initial population,providing high-quality feasible solutions.Subsequently,after the first phase of the NGO’s iterative process,a whale fall strategy is introduced to prevent premature convergence into local optima.This is followed by the integration of T-distributionmutation strategies and the State Transition Algorithm(STA)after the second phase of the NGO,achieving a balanced synergy between the algorithm’s exploitation and exploration.This research evaluates the performance of INGO using 23 benchmark functions alongside the IEEE CEC 2017 benchmark functions,accompanied by a statistical analysis of the results.The experimental outcomes demonstrate INGO’s superior achievements in function optimization tasks.Furthermore,its applicability in solving engineering design problems was verified through simulations on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)trajectory planning issues,establishing INGO’s capability in addressing complex optimization challenges. 展开更多

The input of organic substances(e.g.,rice straw)in rice field soils usually stimulates the production and emission of the greenhouse gas methane(CH4).However,the amount of CH4 derived from the applied rice straw,as well as the response of bacterial and archaeal communities during the methanogenic phase,are poorly understood for different rice field soils.In this study,samples of five different rice soils were amended with 13^C-labeled rice straw(RS)under methanogenic conditions.Immediately after RS addition,the RS-derived CH4 production rates were higher in soils(Uruguay,Fuyang)that possessed a stronger inherent CH4 production potential compared with other soils with lower inherent potentials(Changsha,the Philippines,Vercelli).However,soils with higher inherent potential did not necessarily produce higher amounts of CH4 from the RS applied,or vice versa.Quantitative PCR showed copy numbers of both bacteria and methanogens increased in straw-amended soils.High-throughput sequencing of 16 S rRNA genes showed distinct bacterial communities among the unamended soil samples,which also changed differently in response to RS addition.Nevertheless,RS addition generally resulted in all the rice field soils in a relative increase of primary fermenters belonging to Anaerolineaceae and Ruminococcaceae.Meanwhile,RS addition also generally resulted in a relative increase of Methanosarcinaceae and/or Methanocellaceae.Our results suggest that after RS addition the total amounts of RSderived CH4 are distinct in different rice field soils under methanogenic conditions.Meanwhile,there are potential core bacterial populations that are often involved in primary fermentation of RS under methanogenic conditions. 展开更多

AIMTo investigate potential predictors for treatment response to nucleos(t)ide analogues (NAs) in hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg)-positive chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. METHODSSeventy-six HBeAg-positive CHB patients received 96-wk NAs optimized therapy (lamivudine and adefovir dipivoxil) were studied retrospectively. Serum hepatitis B surface antigen, HBeAg, hepatitis B core antibody, hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA and alanine aminotransferase levels were quantitatively measured before and during the treatment at 12 and 24 wk. Stepwise logistic regression analyses were performed to identify predictors for treatment response, and areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves (AUROC) of the independent predictors were calculated. RESULTSForty-three CHB patients (56.6%) achieved virological response (VR: HBV DNA &le; 300 copies/mL) and 15 patients (19.7%) developed HBeAg seroconversion (SC) after the 96-wk NAs treatment. The HBeAg level (OR = 0.45, P = 0.003) as well as its declined value (OR = 2.03, P = 0.024) at 24-wk independently predicted VR, with the AUROC of 0.788 and 0.736, respectively. The combination of HBeAg titer 1.6 lg PEIU/mL at 24-wk predicted VR with a sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV) of 85%, 100%, 100% and 83%, respectively, and the AUROC increased to 0.923. The HBeAg level (OR = 0.37, P = 0.013) as well as its declined value (OR = 2.02, P = 0.012) at 24-wk also independently predicted HBeAg SC, with the AUROC of 0.828 and 0.814, respectively. The HBeAg titer 2.2 lg PEIU/mL at 24-wk predicted HBeAg SC with a sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV of 88%, 98%, 88% and 98%, respectively, and the AUROC reached 0.928. CONCLUSIONThe combination of HBeAg level and its declined value at 24-wk may be used as a reference parameter to optimize NAs therapy. 展开更多

Feature Selection(FS)is an important problem that involves selecting the most informative subset of features from a dataset to improve classification accuracy.However,due to the high dimensionality and complexity of the dataset,most optimization algorithms for feature selection suffer from a balance issue during the search process.Therefore,the present paper proposes a hybrid Sine-Cosine Chimp Optimization Algorithm(SCChOA)to address the feature selection problem.In this approach,firstly,a multi-cycle iterative strategy is designed to better combine the Sine-Cosine Algorithm(SCA)and the Chimp Optimization Algorithm(ChOA),enabling a more effective search in the objective space.Secondly,an S-shaped transfer function is introduced to perform binary transformation on SCChOA.Finally,the binary SCChOA is combined with the K-Nearest Neighbor(KNN)classifier to form a novel binary hybrid wrapper feature selection method.To evaluate the performance of the proposed method,16 datasets from different dimensions of the UCI repository along with four evaluation metrics of average fitness value,average classification accuracy,average feature selection number,and average running time are considered.Meanwhile,seven state-of-the-art metaheuristic algorithms for solving the feature selection problem are chosen for comparison.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms other compared algorithms in solving the feature selection problem.It is capable of maximizing the reduction in the number of selected features while maintaining a high classification accuracy.Furthermore,the results of statistical tests also confirm the significant effectiveness of this method. 展开更多

Maxillary sinus floor augmentation using lateral window and crestal technique is considered as predictable methods to increase the residual bone height;however,this surgery is commonly complicated by Schneiderian membrane perforation,which is closely related to anatomical factors.This article aimed to assess anatomical factors on successful augmentation procedures.After review of the current evidence on sinus augmentation techniques,anatomical factors related to the stretching potential of Schneiderian membrane were assessed and a decision tree for the rational choice of surgical approaches was proposed.Schneiderian membrane perforation might occur when local tension exceeds its stretching potential,which is closely related to anatomical variations of the maxillary sinus.Choice of a surgical approach and clinical outcomes are influenced by the stretching potential of Schneiderian membrane.In addition to the residual bone height,clinicians should also consider the stretching potential affected by the membrane health condition,the contours of the maxillary sinus,and the presence of antral septa when evaluating the choice of surgical approaches and clinical outcomes. 展开更多

高职护生老年照护择业动机及影响因素研究

目的:了解高职护生老年照护择业动机现状及影响因素。方法:采用一般资料问卷、老年照护择业动机问卷对从曲靖医学高等专科学校选取的536名高职护生进行调查,采用多重线性回归分析护生老年照护择业动机的影响因素。结果:护生老年照护择... 目的:了解高职护生老年照护择业动机现状及影响因素。方法:采用一般资料问卷、老年照护择业动机问卷对从曲靖医学高等专科学校选取的536名高职护生进行调查,采用多重线性回归分析护生老年照护择业动机的影响因素。结果:护生老年照护择业动机总得分(67.97±16.61)分,其中择业价值量表总得分(47.48±11.81)分,择业期望量表总得分(20.49±4.80)分;多重线性回归分析结果显示与老人亲密度、是否有照顾老人的经历、老年照护职业技能等级证书的重要程度、对国家老年照护政策的了解程度是护生老年照护择业动机的主要影响因素(P<0.05)。结论:高职护生老年照护择业动机处于中等偏上水平,影响护生老年照护择业动机的因素是多方面的,要鼓励护生多与老人接触,强调老年照护职业技能等级证书的重要性,加强老年照护政策、工作价值的宣传,从而提高护生老年照护择业动机水平。 展开更多

Stochastic resonance is a counterintuitive phenomenon amplifying the weak periodic signal by application of external noise.We demonstrate the enhancement of a weak periodic signal by stochastic resonance in a trappedion oscillator when the oscillator is excited to the nonlinear regime and subject to an appropriate noise.Under the full control of the radio-frequency drive voltage,this amplification originates from the nonlinearity due to asymmetry of the trapping potential,which can be described by a forced Duffing oscillator model.Our scheme and results provide an interesting possibility to make use of controllable nonlinearity in the trapped ion,and pave the way toward a practical atomic sensor for sensitively detecting weak periodic signals from real noisy environment. 展开更多

Communication-Efficient Decision-Making of Digital Twin Assisted Internet of Vehicles: A Hierarchical Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning Approach

The connected autonomous vehicle is considered an effective way to improve transport safety and efficiency.To overcome the limited sensing and computing capabilities of individual vehicles,we design a digital twin assisted decision-making framework for Internet of Vehicles,by leveraging the integration of communication,sensing and computing.In this framework,the digital twin entities residing on edge can effectively communicate and cooperate with each other to plan sub-targets for their respective vehicles,while the vehicles only need to achieve the sub-targets by generating a sequence of atomic actions.Furthermore,we propose a hierarchical multiagent reinforcement learning approach to implement the framework,which can be trained in an end-to-end way.In the proposed approach,the communication interval of digital twin entities could adapt to timevarying environment.Extensive experiments on driving decision-making have been performed in traffic junction scenarios of different difficulties.The experimental results show that the proposed approach can largely improve collaboration efficiency while reducing communication overhead. 展开更多

Big data has convincing merits in developing risk stratification strategies for diseases.The 6“V”s of big data,namely,volume,velocity,variety,veracity,value,and variability,have shown promise for real-world scenarios.Big data can be applied to analyze health data and advance research in preclinical biology,medicine,and especially disease initiation,development,and control.A study design comprises data selection,inclusion and exclusion criteria,standard confirmation and cohort establishment,follow-up strategy,and events of interest.The development and efficiency verification of a prognosis model consists of deciding the data source,taking previous models as references while selecting candidate predictors,assessing model performance,choosing appropriate statistical methods,and model optimization.The model should be able to inform disease development and outcomes,such as predicting variceal rebleeding in patients with cirrhosis.Our work has merits beyond those of other colleagues with respect to cirrhosis patient screening and data source regarding variceal bleeding. 展开更多

目的探讨曲古抑菌素A预处理在小鼠脑缺血再灌注损伤中对大脑皮质炎症反应和凋亡的影响。方法Balb/c小鼠随机分为3组:假手术组(S组)、缺血再灌注组(IR组)、曲古抑菌素A预处理组(预处理组),每组10只。采用颈部切口大脑中动脉线栓(MCAO)法... 目的探讨曲古抑菌素A预处理在小鼠脑缺血再灌注损伤中对大脑皮质炎症反应和凋亡的影响。方法Balb/c小鼠随机分为3组:假手术组(S组)、缺血再灌注组(IR组)、曲古抑菌素A预处理组(预处理组),每组10只。采用颈部切口大脑中动脉线栓(MCAO)法缺血1 h,再灌注24 h复制脑缺血再灌注模型,预处理组在复制脑缺血再灌注模型前连续3 d腹腔注射曲古抑菌素A 5 mg/kg。取脑皮质组织,光学显微镜下观察病理学结果,ELISA检测TNF-α、IL-1β,免疫组织化学法检测Bcl-2、Bax、Caspase-3,TUNEL检测细胞凋亡。结果3组TNF-α、IL-1β、Bax、Bcl-2及Caspase-3比较,差异有统计学意义(P <0.05)。与S组比较,IR组病理学损伤严重,TNF-α、IL-1β、Bax、Caspase-3阳性表达水平升高,Bcl-2降低(P <0.05);与IR组比较,预处理组病理学损伤减轻,TNF-α、IL-1β、Bax、Caspase-3阳性表达水平降低,Bcl-2升高(P <0.05)。结论曲古抑菌素A预处理能抑制炎症因子、凋亡因子的表达及减少细胞凋亡,从而减轻脑缺血再灌注损伤。 展开更多

With the development of intelligent vehicles and autonomous driving technology,the safety of vulnerable road user(VRU)in traffic has been more guaranteed,and many research achievements have been made in the key area of collision avoidance decision-making methods.In this paper,the knowledge mapping method is used to mine the available literature in depth,and it is found that the research focus has shifted from the traditional accident cause analysis to emerging deep learning and virtual reality technology.This paper summarizes research on the three core dimensions of environmental perception,behavior cognition and collision avoidance decision-making in intelligent vehicle systems.In terms of perception,accurate identification of pedestrians and cyclists in complex environments is a major demand for VRU perception;in terms of behavior cognition,the coupling of VRU intention identification and motion trajectory prediction and other multiple factors needs further research;in terms of decision-making,the intention identification and trajectory prediction of collision objects are not included in the risk assessment model,and there is a lack of exploration specifically for cyclists'collision risk.On this basis,this paper provides guidance for the improvement of traffic safety of contemporary VRU under the conditions of intelligent and connected transportation. 展开更多
