Nitrogen is one of the essential nutrient elements for plant growth,which plays an important role in the growth and development of sugarcane. The whole growth cycle of sugarcane needs a large amount of nitrogen. Increasing the application of nitrogen can improve the yield of sugarcane,but it will also cause environmental pollution. Therefore,how to control or reduce the application of nitrogen fertilizer while continuously increasing sugarcane yield,reduce the increase of sugarcane production cost and environmental pollution caused by excessive application of nitrogen fertilizer has become an important scientific problem faced by sugarcane industry in China.^15N stable isotope labeling technology has been applied to many crops as a nitrogen research tool. In order to better understand the demand of nitrogen fertilizer in soil-cane system,this paper reviewed nitrogen allocation in plants,nitrogen loss,nitrogen recycling and endogenous nitrogen fixation of sugarcane based on^15N stable isotope labeling technology used in the nitrogen uptake and utilization,providing a theoretical basis for the improvement of sugarcane nitrogen use efficiency and the efficient nitrogen fertilizer management of sugarcane. 展开更多

Sugarcane family evaluation on 108 hybridized combinations generated during 2013-2014 was conducted by measuring the main traits of plant and ratoon crops. Stalk height, stalk diameter, stalk number per stool and brix were investigated in both plant cane and ratoon cane, while stalk weight per stool and brix weight per stool were measured only in plant cane. Genetic variation and genetic parameters of all traits were analyzed, and the families were evaluated based on comprehensive index method. The results showed that the stalk height of both plant and ratoon, stalk diameter of both plant and ratoon, stalk number per stool of plant, brix of both plant and ratoon, stalk weight per stool and brix weight per stool were sig- nificantly different among the families. Stalk height, stalk diameter, stalk number per stool of plant crop showed higher level of broad-sense heritability, genetic variation coefficient and relative genetic advance than those in ratoon crop. But there were no significant differences in broad-sense heritability, genetic variation coefficient and relative genetic advance of brix between plant and ratoon crops. Analysis of phenotypic and genotypic correlation showed that stalk weight per stool was significantly correlated with brix weight per stool, Fifteen elite families including Zhanzhe 74-141× CP72-1210, Guitang 05-3081×Yuetang 91-976, Yunzhe 02-588×ROC22, Funong 39× Guitang 03-1229, Guitang 02-901×Guitang 03-2357, Guitang 05-2743×Guitang 03- 1229, Guitang 92-66×ROC22, Dezhe 93-88×ROC22, Guitang 05-3445×Guitang 03- 2309, Yuetang 00-319×CP72-1210, Guitang 03-3089×ROC22, Yuetang 91-976×CP84- 1198, Yuefu 90-95 ×CP72-1210, Yunzhe 99-601×Guitang 00-122, Yuetang 00-236× ROC22 were selected based on comprehensive index method, and stalk weight per stool and brix weight per stool showed greater genetic gain. The families selected based on comprehensive index were not completely the same as the families selected by brix weight per stool, the rank correlation coefficient of the families selected based on comprehensive index and brix weight per stool was 0.748 (P〈0.01). 展开更多

Growth Performance and Adaptability of Sugarcane Combinations Under Different Ecological Environments

The experiments of sugarcane combination evaluation were conducted on 119 combinations during 2017-2018 crossing season in Nanning,Chongzuo and Laibin of Guangxi.The conjoint analysis of variance and estimation of genetic parameters were performed based on brix weight.Furthermore,combination stability was analyzed by regression analysis model and AMMI model.The results showed that differences in brix weight among combinations,environments and interaction between environments and combinations were all extremely significant(P<0.01),and the broad-sense heritability of brix weight belonged to medium level or slightly lower at the three sites.In both Chongzuo and Laibin,the variation coefficients of brix weight were large,but that in Nanning was small.Combinations 643,404,575,972,636,144,YC95,1470,755,409,701,832,YC37 and 579 performed high yield,high genetic stability and stronger adaptability.The results of comprehensive analysis in both brix weight and selection rate of combination showed that 449,YC127,796,YC44,533,570,YC123,391,546,403,YC90 and 252 performed high brix weight and high selection rate of combination in Nanning;combinations 643,212,YC61,432,903,YC95,YC44,368,YC83,YC127,YC112,701,411,YC90 and YC123 demonstrated high brix weight and high selection rate of combination in Chongzuo;and combinations 643,404,449,144,403 and YC48 had high brix weight and high selection rate of combination in Laibin. 展开更多

Effect and Analysis of Mechanized Production on Ratooning Ability of Guitang 47

[Objectives] This study was conducted to explore the effect of machine harvesting on ratooning ability of Guitang 47, and to provide basis for mechanized production of Guitang 47. [Methods] On the basis of mechanized planting and management of newly planted sugarcane Guitang 47, a comparative test of machine harvesting and manual harvesting was conducted, during which the plant generation rate, sugarcane yield, sucrose content and related agronomic traits of ratoon cane were continuously investigated in two years after machine harvesting of the newly planted sugarcane. [Results] There were no significant differences in the plant generation rate, plant height, stalk diameter, millable cane, sugarcane yield and sucrose content from manual harvesting of Guitang 47 in the first and second years after machine harvesting. In the second year after machine harvesting, the yields of ratoon cane and the sugar content reached 101.70 and 15.32 t/hm^2, respectively, which were equivalent to those of manual harvesting. [Conclusions] Guitang 47 has strong ratooning ability and lodging resistance and strong resistance to rolling and crushing, and is adaptive to full mechanized production. It should be promoted and accelerated in sugarcane areas lacking labor to reduce costs and increase benefits. 展开更多

In this study,the Lewis doping approach of polyaniline(PANI)was employed to fabricate cobait-nitrogen-carbon(Co-N-C)oxygen electrocatalysts for Zn-air batteries,aiming to enhance the active spots of Co-N-C.This resulting Co-N-C catalysts exhibited welldefined nanofiber networks,and the Brunauer-EmmettTeller(BET)analysis confirmed their substantial specific surface area.Electrochemical experiments demonstrated that the Co-N-C catalysts achieved the half-wave potential(vs.RHE)of 0.85 V in alkaline medium,overcoming Pt/C and iron-nitrogen-carbon(Fe-N-C)counterparts in extended cycle testing with only a 25 mV change in a half-wave potential after 5000 cycles.Remarkably,the highest power density measured in the zinc(Zn)-air battery reached 227 mW/cm^(2),a significant improvement over the performance of 101 mW/cm^(2) of the platinum on activated carbon(Pt/C)catalyst.These findings highlight the advantageous stability enhancement associated with the utilization of Co in the Co-N-C catalysts. 展开更多
