With the state’s attention to the western development, the economy of the western region represented by Gansu Province has developed rapidly, and the construction of roads and other infrastructure has also been developed. Taking Gansu Province as an example, this paper studies and discusses the application of highway maintenance platform based on GIS + BIM Technology. Firstly, this paper expounds the advantages of GIS + BIM Technology in highway construction and maintenance, and analyzes the development status of GIS + BIM Technology;Secondly, it expounds how to solve the problem of highway maintenance from the aspects of GIS + BIM system and its advantages and difficulties in highway maintenance, and briefly explains the difficulties existing in highway maintenance in Gansu Province. Then, starting from the path of GIS + BIM Technology to solve highway maintenance in Gansu Province, this paper analyzes the expected effect of GIS + BIM Technology in highway maintenance in Gansu Province. </div> 展开更多

Recent advances and perspectives of zinc metal-free anodes for zinc ion batteries

Zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs) are recognized as potential energy storage devices due to their advantages of low cost, high energy density, and environmental friendliness. However, zinc anodes are subject to unavoidable zinc dendrites, passivation, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution reactions during the charging and discharging of batteries, becoming obstacles to the practical application of ZIBs. Appropriate zinc metal-free anodes provide a higher working potential than metallic zinc anodes, effectively solving the problems of zinc dendrites, hydrogen evolution, and side reactions during the operation of metallic zinc anodes. The improvement in the safety and cycle life of batteries creates conditions for further commercialization of ZIBs. Therefore, this work systematically introduces the research progress of zinc metal-free anodes in “rocking chair” ZIBs. Zinc metal-free anodes are mainly discussed in four categories: transition metal oxides,transition metal sulfides, MXene(two dimensional transition metal carbide) composites, and organic compounds, with discussions on their properties and zinc storage mechanisms. Finally, the outlook for the development of zinc metal-free anodes is proposed. This paper is expected to provide a reference for the further promotion of commercial rechargeable ZIBs. 展开更多

This paper presents a novel mixed reality based navigation system for accurate respiratory liver tumor punctures in radiofrequency ablation(RFA).Our system contains an optical see-through head-mounted display device(OST-HMD),Microsoft Holo Lens for perfectly overlaying the virtual information on the patient,and a optical tracking system NDI Polaris for calibrating the surgical utilities in the surgical scene.Compared with traditional navigation method with CT,our system aligns the virtual guidance information and real patient and real-timely updates the view of virtual guidance via a position tracking system.In addition,to alleviate the difficulty during needle placement induced by respiratory motion,we reconstruct the patientspecific respiratory liver motion through statistical motion model to assist doctors precisely puncture liver tumors.The proposed system has been experimentally validated on vivo pigs with an accurate real-time registration approximately 5-mm mean FRE and TRE,which has the potential to be applied in clinical RFA guidance. 展开更多

Global Deaths Associated with Population Aging—1990–2019

Introduction:Published global and countryspecific deaths associated with population aging are based on decomposition methods that have significant limitations.Methods:A new decomposition method was developed and its performance was compared with two frequently used methods.The new method was employed to calculate global deaths associated with population aging between 1990 and 2019,using estimates from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2019(GBD 2019).Results:Compared to the two frequently-used existing methods,the new decomposition method generated results that are more consistent with logical expectations.Using the new method,the number of global deaths associated with population aging between 1990 and 2019 was 23.3 million.Upper middleincome countries accounted for 43%of global deaths related to population aging.The most deaths associated with population aging occurred from three types of disease:ischemic heart disease(5.0 million),stroke(3.8 million),and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(2.2 million).China,India,Japan,the United States of America,and Brazil had the largest number of deaths related to population aging.Loss related to population aging was completely or partially counteracted by the reduction in mortality in 195 of the 200 countries and territories experiencing population aging(97.5%).Conclusions:The new decomposition method achieves more justifiable results associated with population aging than existing methods.Globally,population aging was associated with a substantial increase of deaths between 1990 and 2019,but it was totally or partially offset by the reduction in mortality in 97.5%of countries and territories. 展开更多

Realizing high-rate capability and high-efficiency utilization of polyanionic cathode materials is of great importance for practical sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) since they usually suffer from extremely low electronic conductivity and limited ionic diffusion kinetics. Herein, taking Na_(3.5)V_(1.5)Mn_(0.5)(PO_(4))_(3)(NVMP) as an example, a reinforced concrete-like hierarchical and porous hybrid(NVMP@C@3DPG) built from 3D graphene(“rebar”) frameworks and in situ generated carbon coated NVMP(“concrete”) has been developed by a facile polymer assisted self-assembly and subsequent solid-state method. Such hybrids deliver superior rate capability(73.9 m Ah/g up to 20 C) and excellent cycling stability in a wide temperature range with a high specific capacity of 88.4 m Ah/g after 5000 cycles at 15 C at room temperature, and a high capacity retention of 97.1% after 500 cycles at 1 C(-20 ℃), and maintaining a high reversible capacity of 110.3 m Ah/g in full cell. This work offers a facile and efficient strategy to develop advanced polyanionic cathodes with high-efficiency utilization and 3D electron/ion transport systems. 展开更多
