Coal and gas outburst is a complex dynamic disaster during coal underground mining.Revealing the disaster mechanism is of great signifcance for accurate prediction and prevention of coal and gas outburst.The geo-dynam...Coal and gas outburst is a complex dynamic disaster during coal underground mining.Revealing the disaster mechanism is of great signifcance for accurate prediction and prevention of coal and gas outburst.The geo-dynamic system of coal and gas outburst is proposed.The framework of geo-dynamic system is composed of gassy coal mass,geological dynamic environment and mining disturbance.Equations of stress–damage–seepage interaction for gassy coal mass is constructed to resolve the outburst elimination process by gas extraction with boreholes through layer in foor roadway.The results show the occurrence of outburst is divided into the evolution process of gestation,formation,development and termination of geo-dynamic system.The scale range of outburst occurrence is determined,which provides a spatial basis for the prevention and control of outburst.The formation criterion and instability criterion of coal and gas outburst are established.The formation criterion F1 is defned as the scale of the geo-dynamic system,and the instability criterion F2 is defned as the scale of the outburst geo-body.According to the geo-dynamic system,the elimination mechanism of coal and gas outburst—‘unloading+depressurization’is established,and the gas extraction by boreholes through layer in foor roadway for outburst elimination is given.For the research case,when the gas extraction is 120 days,the gas pressure of the coal seam is reduced to below 0.4 MPa,and the outburst danger is eliminated efectively.展开更多
Background Broilers have a robust metabolism and high body temperature,which make them less tolerant to hightemperature(HT)environments and more susceptible to challenges from elevated temperatures.Gut microbes,functi...Background Broilers have a robust metabolism and high body temperature,which make them less tolerant to hightemperature(HT)environments and more susceptible to challenges from elevated temperatures.Gut microbes,functioning as symbionts within the host,possess the capacity to significantly regulate the physiological functions and environmental adaptability of the host.This study aims to investigate the effects of gut microbial intervention on the body temperature and thermogenesis of broilers at different ambient temperatures,as well as the underlying mechanism involving the"gut-brain"axis.Methods Broilers were subjected to gut microbiota interference with or without antibiotics(control or ABX)starting at 1 day of age.At 21 day of age,they were divided into 4 groups and exposed to different environments for 7 d:The control and ABX groups at room temperature(RT,24±1℃,60%relative humidity(RH),24 h/d)and the control-HT and ABX-HT groups at high temperature(HT,32±1℃,60%RH,24 h/d).Results The results demonstrated that the antibiotic-induced gut microbiota intervention increased body weight and improved feed conversion in broiler chickens(P<0.05).Under HT conditions,the microbiota intervention reduced the rectal temperature of broiler chickens(P<0.05),inhibited the expression of avUCP and thermogenesisrelated genes in breast muscle and liver(P<0.05),and thus decreased thermogenesis capacity.Furthermore,the gut microbiota intervention blunted the hypothalamic‒pituitary‒adrenal axis and hypothalamic–pituitary–thyroid axis activation induced by HT conditions.By analyzing the cecal microbiota composition of control and ABX chickens maintained under HT conditions,we found that Alistipes was enriched in control chickens.In contrast,antibioticinduced gut microbiota intervention resulted in a decrease in the relative abundance of Alistipes(P<0.05).Moreover,this difference was accompanied by increased hypothalamic 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)content and TPH2 expression(P<0.05).Conclusions These findings underscore the critical role of the gut microbiota in regulating broiler thermogenesis via the gut-brain axis and suggest that the hypothalamic 5-HT pathway may be a potential mechanism by which the gut microbiota affects thermoregulation in broilers.展开更多

The patient received 50 units of botulinum toxin type A injection each to the motor points (2 sites/muscle) of the left flexor digitorum superficialis and flexor digitorum profundus, respectively. Botulinum toxin injection led to weakness and tone reduction in the spastic finger flexors, but improved grip release time in grip initiation/release reaction time tasks. Improved release time was accompanied by shortened extensor electromyography activity, and improved release time likely correlated with blocked co-contraction of finger flexors during voluntary finger extension. This case report demonstrated that botulinum toxin injection improved voluntary motor control of the hand in a chronic stroke patient with residual finger extension.展开更多
Introduction:Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)plus thermal ablation has been widely used recently in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).In this study,we aimed to compare results of the combina...Introduction:Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)plus thermal ablation has been widely used recently in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).In this study,we aimed to compare results of the combination of TACE and percutaneous thermal ablation with those of hepatectomy in patients with HCC.Methods:The clinical data of 137 HCC patients who sequentially received TACE and computed tomography(CT)-guided percutaneous thermal ablation as an initial curative treatment(combination group)and 148 matched HCC patients who received hepatectomy(surgery group)between 2004 and 2011 were collected and analyzed.After TACE,multiphase contrast-enhanced CT was performed to identify the total number of tumors as well as lipiodol deposition in the liver.Survival was calculated by using the Kaplan-Meier method and compared by using the log-rank test.The prognostic factors were assessed with multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis.Results:Of all 285 patients,225(79.0%)had cancerous lesions≤5 cm in diameter.In preoperative contrast-enhanced CT or magnetic resonance imaging,the number of tumors was 1–4 for each patient.The 1-,3-,and 5-year overall survival rates were 95,74%,and 67%in the combination group and 88,66,and 47%in the surgery group,respectively(P=0.004);the corresponding recurrence-free survival rates for the two groups were 92,69,and 61%and 75,58,and44%,respectively(P=0.001).In the multivariate analysis,treatment allocation was an independent prognostic factor for survival.Only 60 patients in the combination group had sufficient imaging data,and 135 new lesions with lipiodol deposition were diagnosed as malignancies in 22 of 60 patients,whereas 20 new lesions were found in 11 of 148patients in the surgery group.Conclusion:The combination of TACE and CT-guided percutaneous thermal ablation for HCC improves survival of HCC patients compared with hepatectomy.展开更多
Lithium-sulfur battery(Li-S)is considered as one of the new-generation rechargeable batteries with high performance because of its extremely high theoretical capacity,energy density,environmental harmony and low cost....Lithium-sulfur battery(Li-S)is considered as one of the new-generation rechargeable batteries with high performance because of its extremely high theoretical capacity,energy density,environmental harmony and low cost.However,low electrical and ionic conductivity of sulfur,safety concerns and parasitic reaction generated by the dissolved polysulfide species in electrolyte hinder the commercialization of Li-S battery.Herein,we report a polyhedral porous structure comprising of carbon coating metal selenide nanoparticles(CoSe2/C),which could not only host sulfur for Li-S battery owing to its porous and conductive structure,but also mitigate the shuttle phenomenon by polysulfides adsorption and catalytic acceleration of redox kinetics.As a result,a performance enhanced CoSe2/C-S electrode for Li-S battery is achieved.展开更多

The typical FSR and HC50 value, monocyte-phagocytic exponent Kand emendated monocyte-phagocytic exponent α were determined and calculated respectively.RESULTS: After 24 and 48 h, the FSR values of the three tested groups improved significantly in comparison to the control group by variance analysis. The HC50 values showed a significant difference between the high dosage group and the control group, as well as between the high dosage group and other two tested groups. The monocyte-phagocytic exponent Kand emendated exponent α showed rising tendencies, but no significant differences were found by variance analysis.CONCLUSION: The concentrated liquor from male zooid of A. pernyi can significantly enhance cellular and humoral immune function in mice, but has no distinct influence on the monocyte-phagocytic system in mice.展开更多

METHODS: Eighty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into ...AIM: To investigate whether supplementation of male zooid of Antheraea pernyi extracts (MZAPE) could enhance immune function of radiated tumor-bearing rats. METHODS: Eighty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into a control group, a simple radiation group, a MZAPE group, and a radiation plus MZAPE group. With the tumor model established by implanting Walker-256 ascites tumor cells, tumor weight and tumor control rate were calculated. The rats in the simple radiation and radiation plus MZAPE groups were underwent to radiation at 10 Gy within 2 d. In the MZAPE and radiation plus MZAPE groups, the MZAPE was gavaged at a dose of 16.53 mg/kg once a day for 7 d. T cell subsets in peripheral blood were determined by flow cytometry and the expression of IL-2, IFN-γ, IL-4 and IL-10 in sera were determined by ELISA on the 8th d. RESULTS: The tumor weight of simple radiation group, MZAPE group and radiation plus MZAPE group was lower than that of control group (P < 0.01) and tumor control rates were 63.08% ± 6.43%, 69.86% ± 7.12% and 35.30% ± 7.67%, respectively. CD4+ T and CD8+ T cells in the peripheral blood of the simple radiation group were fewer than in control group. In the MZAPE and radiation plus MZAPE groups, the number of CD4+ T cells was higher while CD8+ T cells was lower than in the control and simple radiation groups. Expression of IL-2 and INF-γ in the radiation group was lower than in control group, and significantly enhanced during MZAPE therapy (P < 0.05). Expression of IL-4 and IL-10 in the radiation group had no significant changes compared with the control group, and decreased significantly after MZAPE treatment (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: MZAPE administration may help improve the immune function of the radiated tumor-bearing rats and reverse the radiation-induced immune inhibition by promoting the proliferation of T helper cells and inducing the transdifferentiation from Th2 to Th1.展开更多
Objective:To study the influence of targeted inhibition of Notch1 gene on the killing effects of Paclitaxel on triple-negative breast cancer cells.Methods:The triple-negative [estrogen receptor(ER)/progesterone recept...Objective:To study the influence of targeted inhibition of Notch1 gene on the killing effects of Paclitaxel on triple-negative breast cancer cells.Methods:The triple-negative [estrogen receptor(ER)/progesterone receptor(PR)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(Her2)] breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 and ER/PR/HER-2-positive breast cancer cell line MCF-7 were cultured,transfected with Notch1-si RNA-overexpression plasmid and blank plasmid,and treated with different concentrations of paclitaxel,and then the cell proliferation activity and apoptosis rate as well as the m RNA expression of Caspase-3,Caspase-9 and Bcl-2 were determined.Results:Paclitaxel could decrease the MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 cell proliferation activity as well as Bcl-2 mRNA expression,and increase MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 cell apoptosis rate as well as Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 mRNA expression in dosedependent manners;with the same dose of paclitaxel treatment,the inhibitory effects on MDAMB-231 cell proliferation activity and Bcl-2 m RNA expression as well as the promoting effects on MDA-MB-231 cell apoptosis and mR NA expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 were weaker than those on MCF-7 cell;after 0.5 μM paclitaxel combined with Notch1-siRNA treatment,MDA-MB-231 cell proliferation activity and Bcl-2 mRNA expression were significantly lower than those after 0.5 μM paclitaxel combined with control plasmid treatment while cell apoptosis rate and mR NA expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 were higher than those after 0.5 μM paclitaxel combined with control plasmid treatment.Conclusions:Targeted inhibition of Notch1 gene may enhance the killing effects of paclitaxel on triple-negative breast cancer cells by up-regulating the expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 and inhibiting the expression of Bcl-2.展开更多

Nevertheless, its application is restricted ...Germanium(Ge), an alloy-type anode material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs), possesses many advantages such as high theoretical capacity and decent electrical conductivity. Nevertheless, its application is restricted by tremendous volume variation and tardy reaction kinetic during discharge/charge process.In this paper, the Ge/3DPG composites with Ge nanoparticles uniformly dispersed in 3D interconnected porous graphene(3DPG) skeleton are successfully prepared using a template-assisted in-situ reduction method. The unique 3D interconnected porous graphene can not only enhance the electronic conductivity and reaction kinetics of the materials, but also provide sufficient buffer space to effectively mitigate the volume expansion during cycling and strengthen the structural integrity. Moreover, the small-sized Ge nanoparticles in close conjunction with the 3D graphene can boost the surface-controlled reaction of the electrode, which contributes to a fast charge–discharge rate capability. The Ge/3DPG composite with optimized Ge/graphene mass ratio delivers high reversible specific capacity(1102 mAh g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.2 C), outstanding rate capability(494 mAh g^(-1) at 5 C), and admirable cycling stability(85.3% of capacity retention after 250 cycles at 0.5 C). This work provides a significant inspiration for the design and fabrication of advanced Ge-based anode materials for next-generation highperformance LIBs.展开更多

A high-performance anode for LIBs based on α-Fe_2O_3 nanoplates have been selectively prepared. The α-Fe_2O_3 nanoplates can be synthesized with iron ionbased ionic liquid as iron source and template. The α-Fe_2O_3 nanoplates as the anode of LIBs can display high capacity of around1950 mAh g^(-1) at 0.5 A g^(-1) which have exceeded the theoretical capacity of α-Fe_2O_3. On account of unique nanoplate structures and gum arabic as binder, the α-Fe_2O_3 nanoplates also exhibit high rate capability and excellent cycling performance.展开更多
Background Eye tracking te chnology is receiving increased attention in the field of virtual reality.Specifically,future gaze prediction is crucial in pre-computation for many applications such as gaze-contingent rend...Background Eye tracking te chnology is receiving increased attention in the field of virtual reality.Specifically,future gaze prediction is crucial in pre-computation for many applications such as gaze-contingent rendering,advertisement placement,and content-based design.To explore future gaze prediction,it is necessary to analyze the temporal continuity of visual attention in immersive virtual reality.Methods In this paper,the concept of temporal continuity of visual attention is presented.Subsequently,an autocorrelation function method is proposed to evaluate the temporal continuity.Thereafter,the temporal continuity is analyzed in both free-viewing and task-oriented conditions.Results Specifically,in free-viewing conditions,the analysis of a free-viewing gaze dataset indicates that the temporal continuity performs well only within a short time interval.A task-oriented game scene condition was created and conducted to collect users'gaze data.An analysis of the collected gaze data finds the temporal continuity has a similar performance with that of the free-viewing conditions.Temporal continuity can be applied to future gaze prediction and if it is good,users'current gaze positions can be directly utilized to predict their gaze positions in the future.Conclusions The current gaze's future prediction performances are further evaluated in both free-viewing and task-oriented conditions and discover that the current gaze can be efficiently applied to the task of short-term future gaze prediction.The task of long-term gaze prediction still remains to be explored.展开更多
AIM:To find potential mutable sites by detecting mutations of the candidate gene in a kindred with polycystic liver disease(PCLD).METHODS:First,we chose a kindred with PCLD and obtained five venous blood samples of th...AIM:To find potential mutable sites by detecting mutations of the candidate gene in a kindred with polycystic liver disease(PCLD).METHODS:First,we chose a kindred with PCLD and obtained five venous blood samples of this kindred after the family members signed the informed consent form.In the kindred two cases were diagnosed with PCLD,and the left three cases were normal individuals.All the blood samples were preserved at-85?℃.Second,we extracted the genomic DNA from the venous blood samples of the kindred using a QIAamp DNA Mini Kit and then performed long-range polymerase chain reaction(PCR)with different primers.The exons of PKD1 were all sequenced with the forward and reverse primers to ensure the accuracy of the results.Next,we purified the PCR products and directly sequenced them using Big Dye Terminator Chemistry version 3.1.The sequencing reaction was conducted with Biomek FX(Beckman).Finally,we analyzed the results.RESULTS:A total of 42 normal exons were identified in detecting mutations of the PKD1 gene.A synonymous mutation occurred in exon 5.The mutation was a homozygous T in the proband and was C in the reference sequence.This mutation was located in the third codon and did not change the amino acid encoded by the codon.Missense mutations occurred in exons 11 and 35.These mutations were located in the second codon;they changed the amino acid sequence and existed in the db SNP library.A nonsense mutation occurred in exon 15.The mutation was a heterozygous CT in the proband and was C in the referencesequence.This mutation was located in the first codon and resulted in a termination codon.This mutation had an obvious influence on the encoded protein and changed the length of the protein from 4303 to 2246amino acids.This was a new mutation that was not present in the db SNP library.CONCLUSION:The nonsense mutation of exon 15existed in the proband and in the third individual.Additionally,the proband was heterozygous for this mutation,so the mutable site was a pathogenic mutation.展开更多

In this paper, the numerical bifurcation analy-sis software MATCONT was used to study bifurcation behavior of a single-machine dynamic-load (SMDL) system with SVC, and the simulation analysis results show that a unstable Hopf bifurcation (UHB) point oc-curring before SNB point and engendering potential harm to voltage stability. To delay or eliminate the UHB phenomenon and enhance voltage stability of the SMDL system with SVC, we designed a sliding mode variable structure controller. The switching function and control variables of the controller are clearly de-scribed and the derivations are directly provided in detail in this paper. The MATLAB simulation results prove that the designed controller can eliminate the UHB point effectively and ensure safe and stable opera-tion of the system.展开更多

Methods...Objective The aim of this study was to analyze and evaluate 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet(Nd:YAG) lasers for use in liver and gastroepiploic vessel vaporization and coagulation. Methods The effects of 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm Nd:YAG lasers were compared for gastroepiploic vessel hemostasis in porcine liver.Results The results were observed and measured under the same parameters and dose conditions. The 1.32-μm laser showed greater vaporization width and depth than the 1.06-μm laser. Both lasers controlled active bleeding. The coagulation band with the 1.32-μm laser was thinner than with the 1.06-μm laser, at nearly 3 mm. After cutting of 1-and 2-mm porcine vessels, no grossly visible bleeding was apparent. Intravascular thrombus was visible under the microscope. The length of vessel thrombosis in the experimental group was 2 mm and the diameter was 2 mm; the control group exhibited thrombi as 2.3–4.9 mm in length. Thrombosis completely blocked the blood vessels.Conclusion The 1.32-μm laser had greater vaporization capability than the 1.06-μm laser and achieved hemostasis requirements for vessels less than 2 mm in diameter.展开更多

文摘Background Broilers have a robust metabolism and high body temperature,which make them less tolerant to hightemperature(HT)environments and more susceptible to challenges from elevated temperatures.Gut microbes,functioning as symbionts within the host,possess the capacity to significantly regulate the physiological functions and environmental adaptability of the host.This study aims to investigate the effects of gut microbial intervention on the body temperature and thermogenesis of broilers at different ambient temperatures,as well as the underlying mechanism involving the"gut-brain"axis.Methods Broilers were subjected to gut microbiota interference with or without antibiotics(control or ABX)starting at 1 day of age.At 21 day of age,they were divided into 4 groups and exposed to different environments for 7 d:The control and ABX groups at room temperature(RT,24±1℃,60%relative humidity(RH),24 h/d)and the control-HT and ABX-HT groups at high temperature(HT,32±1℃,60%RH,24 h/d).Results The results demonstrated that the antibiotic-induced gut microbiota intervention increased body weight and improved feed conversion in broiler chickens(P<0.05).Under HT conditions,the microbiota intervention reduced the rectal temperature of broiler chickens(P<0.05),inhibited the expression of avUCP and thermogenesisrelated genes in breast muscle and liver(P<0.05),and thus decreased thermogenesis capacity.Furthermore,the gut microbiota intervention blunted the hypothalamic‒pituitary‒adrenal axis and hypothalamic–pituitary–thyroid axis activation induced by HT conditions.By analyzing the cecal microbiota composition of control and ABX chickens maintained under HT conditions,we found that Alistipes was enriched in control chickens.In contrast,antibioticinduced gut microbiota intervention resulted in a decrease in the relative abundance of Alistipes(P<0.05).Moreover,this difference was accompanied by increased hypothalamic 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)content and TPH2 expression(P<0.05).Conclusions These findings underscore the critical role of the gut microbiota in regulating broiler thermogenesis via the gut-brain axis and suggest that the hypothalamic 5-HT pathway may be a potential mechanism by which the gut microbiota affects thermoregulation in broilers.

文摘The effect of botulinum toxin type A injection on voluntary grip control was examined in a 53-year-old female, who sustained a hemorrhagic right middle cerebral artery stroke 3 years previously, which resulted in finger flexor spasticity and residual weak finger/wrist extension. The patient received 50 units of botulinum toxin type A injection each to the motor points (2 sites/muscle) of the left flexor digitorum superficialis and flexor digitorum profundus, respectively. Botulinum toxin injection led to weakness and tone reduction in the spastic finger flexors, but improved grip release time in grip initiation/release reaction time tasks. Improved release time was accompanied by shortened extensor electromyography activity, and improved release time likely correlated with blocked co-contraction of finger flexors during voluntary finger extension. This case report demonstrated that botulinum toxin injection improved voluntary motor control of the hand in a chronic stroke patient with residual finger extension.
文摘Introduction:Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE)plus thermal ablation has been widely used recently in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).In this study,we aimed to compare results of the combination of TACE and percutaneous thermal ablation with those of hepatectomy in patients with HCC.Methods:The clinical data of 137 HCC patients who sequentially received TACE and computed tomography(CT)-guided percutaneous thermal ablation as an initial curative treatment(combination group)and 148 matched HCC patients who received hepatectomy(surgery group)between 2004 and 2011 were collected and analyzed.After TACE,multiphase contrast-enhanced CT was performed to identify the total number of tumors as well as lipiodol deposition in the liver.Survival was calculated by using the Kaplan-Meier method and compared by using the log-rank test.The prognostic factors were assessed with multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analysis.Results:Of all 285 patients,225(79.0%)had cancerous lesions≤5 cm in diameter.In preoperative contrast-enhanced CT or magnetic resonance imaging,the number of tumors was 1–4 for each patient.The 1-,3-,and 5-year overall survival rates were 95,74%,and 67%in the combination group and 88,66,and 47%in the surgery group,respectively(P=0.004);the corresponding recurrence-free survival rates for the two groups were 92,69,and 61%and 75,58,and44%,respectively(P=0.001).In the multivariate analysis,treatment allocation was an independent prognostic factor for survival.Only 60 patients in the combination group had sufficient imaging data,and 135 new lesions with lipiodol deposition were diagnosed as malignancies in 22 of 60 patients,whereas 20 new lesions were found in 11 of 148patients in the surgery group.Conclusion:The combination of TACE and CT-guided percutaneous thermal ablation for HCC improves survival of HCC patients compared with hepatectomy.

文摘Lithium-sulfur battery(Li-S)is considered as one of the new-generation rechargeable batteries with high performance because of its extremely high theoretical capacity,energy density,environmental harmony and low cost.However,low electrical and ionic conductivity of sulfur,safety concerns and parasitic reaction generated by the dissolved polysulfide species in electrolyte hinder the commercialization of Li-S battery.Herein,we report a polyhedral porous structure comprising of carbon coating metal selenide nanoparticles(CoSe2/C),which could not only host sulfur for Li-S battery owing to its porous and conductive structure,but also mitigate the shuttle phenomenon by polysulfides adsorption and catalytic acceleration of redox kinetics.As a result,a performance enhanced CoSe2/C-S electrode for Li-S battery is achieved.

文摘AIM: To study the effects of concentrated liquor from male zooid of Antheraea pernyi on immunological mice.METHODS: For each experiment, 40 mice were randomly divided into normal saline group (control group) and three tested groups that were administered different dosages of concentrated liquor from male zooid of A. pernyi and food for 15 d. The typical FSR and HC50 value, monocyte-phagocytic exponent Kand emendated monocyte-phagocytic exponent α were determined and calculated respectively.RESULTS: After 24 and 48 h, the FSR values of the three tested groups improved significantly in comparison to the control group by variance analysis. The HC50 values showed a significant difference between the high dosage group and the control group, as well as between the high dosage group and other two tested groups. The monocyte-phagocytic exponent Kand emendated exponent α showed rising tendencies, but no significant differences were found by variance analysis.CONCLUSION: The concentrated liquor from male zooid of A. pernyi can significantly enhance cellular and humoral immune function in mice, but has no distinct influence on the monocyte-phagocytic system in mice.

文摘AIM: To investigate whether supplementation of male zooid of Antheraea pernyi extracts (MZAPE) could enhance immune function of radiated tumor-bearing rats. METHODS: Eighty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into a control group, a simple radiation group, a MZAPE group, and a radiation plus MZAPE group. With the tumor model established by implanting Walker-256 ascites tumor cells, tumor weight and tumor control rate were calculated. The rats in the simple radiation and radiation plus MZAPE groups were underwent to radiation at 10 Gy within 2 d. In the MZAPE and radiation plus MZAPE groups, the MZAPE was gavaged at a dose of 16.53 mg/kg once a day for 7 d. T cell subsets in peripheral blood were determined by flow cytometry and the expression of IL-2, IFN-γ, IL-4 and IL-10 in sera were determined by ELISA on the 8th d. RESULTS: The tumor weight of simple radiation group, MZAPE group and radiation plus MZAPE group was lower than that of control group (P < 0.01) and tumor control rates were 63.08% ± 6.43%, 69.86% ± 7.12% and 35.30% ± 7.67%, respectively. CD4+ T and CD8+ T cells in the peripheral blood of the simple radiation group were fewer than in control group. In the MZAPE and radiation plus MZAPE groups, the number of CD4+ T cells was higher while CD8+ T cells was lower than in the control and simple radiation groups. Expression of IL-2 and INF-γ in the radiation group was lower than in control group, and significantly enhanced during MZAPE therapy (P < 0.05). Expression of IL-4 and IL-10 in the radiation group had no significant changes compared with the control group, and decreased significantly after MZAPE treatment (P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: MZAPE administration may help improve the immune function of the radiated tumor-bearing rats and reverse the radiation-induced immune inhibition by promoting the proliferation of T helper cells and inducing the transdifferentiation from Th2 to Th1.

文摘Objective:To study the influence of targeted inhibition of Notch1 gene on the killing effects of Paclitaxel on triple-negative breast cancer cells.Methods:The triple-negative [estrogen receptor(ER)/progesterone receptor(PR)/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(Her2)] breast cancer cell line MDA-MB-231 and ER/PR/HER-2-positive breast cancer cell line MCF-7 were cultured,transfected with Notch1-si RNA-overexpression plasmid and blank plasmid,and treated with different concentrations of paclitaxel,and then the cell proliferation activity and apoptosis rate as well as the m RNA expression of Caspase-3,Caspase-9 and Bcl-2 were determined.Results:Paclitaxel could decrease the MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 cell proliferation activity as well as Bcl-2 mRNA expression,and increase MDA-MB-231 and MCF-7 cell apoptosis rate as well as Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 mRNA expression in dosedependent manners;with the same dose of paclitaxel treatment,the inhibitory effects on MDAMB-231 cell proliferation activity and Bcl-2 m RNA expression as well as the promoting effects on MDA-MB-231 cell apoptosis and mR NA expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 were weaker than those on MCF-7 cell;after 0.5 μM paclitaxel combined with Notch1-siRNA treatment,MDA-MB-231 cell proliferation activity and Bcl-2 mRNA expression were significantly lower than those after 0.5 μM paclitaxel combined with control plasmid treatment while cell apoptosis rate and mR NA expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 were higher than those after 0.5 μM paclitaxel combined with control plasmid treatment.Conclusions:Targeted inhibition of Notch1 gene may enhance the killing effects of paclitaxel on triple-negative breast cancer cells by up-regulating the expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-9 and inhibiting the expression of Bcl-2.

文摘Germanium(Ge), an alloy-type anode material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs), possesses many advantages such as high theoretical capacity and decent electrical conductivity. Nevertheless, its application is restricted by tremendous volume variation and tardy reaction kinetic during discharge/charge process.In this paper, the Ge/3DPG composites with Ge nanoparticles uniformly dispersed in 3D interconnected porous graphene(3DPG) skeleton are successfully prepared using a template-assisted in-situ reduction method. The unique 3D interconnected porous graphene can not only enhance the electronic conductivity and reaction kinetics of the materials, but also provide sufficient buffer space to effectively mitigate the volume expansion during cycling and strengthen the structural integrity. Moreover, the small-sized Ge nanoparticles in close conjunction with the 3D graphene can boost the surface-controlled reaction of the electrode, which contributes to a fast charge–discharge rate capability. The Ge/3DPG composite with optimized Ge/graphene mass ratio delivers high reversible specific capacity(1102 mAh g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.2 C), outstanding rate capability(494 mAh g^(-1) at 5 C), and admirable cycling stability(85.3% of capacity retention after 250 cycles at 0.5 C). This work provides a significant inspiration for the design and fabrication of advanced Ge-based anode materials for next-generation highperformance LIBs.

文摘5-(5′′-Substituted phenyl-[1′′,3′′,4′′]oxadiazol-2′′-yl methylsulfanyl)-3-pyridin-3′-yl- [1,2,4] triazol-4-yl amines 1a-j were quaternarized with methyl iodide to afford the corresponding methyl pyridinium salts 2a-j. The reduction of compounds 2 with NaBH4 in methanol gave the target compounds 5-(5′′-substituted phenyl-[1′′,3′′,4′′]oxadiazol-2′′-yl methylsulfanyl)-3-(1′-meth- yl-1′,2′,5′,6′-tetrahydropyridin-3′-yl)-[1,2,4]triazol-4-ylamines 3a-j. The endothelium vascular relaxing activity of the target compounds were screened.

文摘4-Amino-5-pyridin-4-yl-s-triazole-3-thiol (1) was sequentally reacted with 3-chloro-1-phenylpropan-1-one to afford 3-(4-amino-5-pyridin-4-yl-s-triazole-3-sulfanyl)-1-phenylpropan-1-one (2) followed by oximation with hydroxylamine hydrochloride and etherification with 5-aryl-13,4oxadiazole-2-chloromethanes to the corresponding oxime (3) and oxime-ethers (4a-e),respectively. The condensation of compounds 4 with salicylaldehyde gave the title compounds (5a-e). The antibacterial activity in vitro against Gram-postive (G+) and Gram negative (G-) bacteria was primarily evaluated.

文摘On account of the high theoretical capacity, high corrosion resistance, environmental benignity, abundant availability and low cost, the research on a-Fe_2O_3 has been gradually fastened on as promising anodes materials toward lithium-ion batteries(LIBs). A high-performance anode for LIBs based on α-Fe_2O_3 nanoplates have been selectively prepared. The α-Fe_2O_3 nanoplates can be synthesized with iron ionbased ionic liquid as iron source and template. The α-Fe_2O_3 nanoplates as the anode of LIBs can display high capacity of around1950 mAh g^(-1) at 0.5 A g^(-1) which have exceeded the theoretical capacity of α-Fe_2O_3. On account of unique nanoplate structures and gum arabic as binder, the α-Fe_2O_3 nanoplates also exhibit high rate capability and excellent cycling performance.

文摘Background Eye tracking te chnology is receiving increased attention in the field of virtual reality.Specifically,future gaze prediction is crucial in pre-computation for many applications such as gaze-contingent rendering,advertisement placement,and content-based design.To explore future gaze prediction,it is necessary to analyze the temporal continuity of visual attention in immersive virtual reality.Methods In this paper,the concept of temporal continuity of visual attention is presented.Subsequently,an autocorrelation function method is proposed to evaluate the temporal continuity.Thereafter,the temporal continuity is analyzed in both free-viewing and task-oriented conditions.Results Specifically,in free-viewing conditions,the analysis of a free-viewing gaze dataset indicates that the temporal continuity performs well only within a short time interval.A task-oriented game scene condition was created and conducted to collect users'gaze data.An analysis of the collected gaze data finds the temporal continuity has a similar performance with that of the free-viewing conditions.Temporal continuity can be applied to future gaze prediction and if it is good,users'current gaze positions can be directly utilized to predict their gaze positions in the future.Conclusions The current gaze's future prediction performances are further evaluated in both free-viewing and task-oriented conditions and discover that the current gaze can be efficiently applied to the task of short-term future gaze prediction.The task of long-term gaze prediction still remains to be explored.

文摘AIM:To find potential mutable sites by detecting mutations of the candidate gene in a kindred with polycystic liver disease(PCLD).METHODS:First,we chose a kindred with PCLD and obtained five venous blood samples of this kindred after the family members signed the informed consent form.In the kindred two cases were diagnosed with PCLD,and the left three cases were normal individuals.All the blood samples were preserved at-85?℃.Second,we extracted the genomic DNA from the venous blood samples of the kindred using a QIAamp DNA Mini Kit and then performed long-range polymerase chain reaction(PCR)with different primers.The exons of PKD1 were all sequenced with the forward and reverse primers to ensure the accuracy of the results.Next,we purified the PCR products and directly sequenced them using Big Dye Terminator Chemistry version 3.1.The sequencing reaction was conducted with Biomek FX(Beckman).Finally,we analyzed the results.RESULTS:A total of 42 normal exons were identified in detecting mutations of the PKD1 gene.A synonymous mutation occurred in exon 5.The mutation was a homozygous T in the proband and was C in the reference sequence.This mutation was located in the third codon and did not change the amino acid encoded by the codon.Missense mutations occurred in exons 11 and 35.These mutations were located in the second codon;they changed the amino acid sequence and existed in the db SNP library.A nonsense mutation occurred in exon 15.The mutation was a heterozygous CT in the proband and was C in the referencesequence.This mutation was located in the first codon and resulted in a termination codon.This mutation had an obvious influence on the encoded protein and changed the length of the protein from 4303 to 2246amino acids.This was a new mutation that was not present in the db SNP library.CONCLUSION:The nonsense mutation of exon 15existed in the proband and in the third individual.Additionally,the proband was heterozygous for this mutation,so the mutable site was a pathogenic mutation.
文摘In power systems, the Hopf bifurcation (HB) can occur before the saddle-node bifurcation (SNB) and be-comes one of main reasons of voltage instability and collapse, so the bifurcation control for HB has impor-tant significance in improving power system voltage stability. In this paper, the numerical bifurcation analy-sis software MATCONT was used to study bifurcation behavior of a single-machine dynamic-load (SMDL) system with SVC, and the simulation analysis results show that a unstable Hopf bifurcation (UHB) point oc-curring before SNB point and engendering potential harm to voltage stability. To delay or eliminate the UHB phenomenon and enhance voltage stability of the SMDL system with SVC, we designed a sliding mode variable structure controller. The switching function and control variables of the controller are clearly de-scribed and the derivations are directly provided in detail in this paper. The MATLAB simulation results prove that the designed controller can eliminate the UHB point effectively and ensure safe and stable opera-tion of the system.

文摘Objective The aim of this study was to analyze and evaluate 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet(Nd:YAG) lasers for use in liver and gastroepiploic vessel vaporization and coagulation. Methods The effects of 1.32-μm and 1.06-μm Nd:YAG lasers were compared for gastroepiploic vessel hemostasis in porcine liver.Results The results were observed and measured under the same parameters and dose conditions. The 1.32-μm laser showed greater vaporization width and depth than the 1.06-μm laser. Both lasers controlled active bleeding. The coagulation band with the 1.32-μm laser was thinner than with the 1.06-μm laser, at nearly 3 mm. After cutting of 1-and 2-mm porcine vessels, no grossly visible bleeding was apparent. Intravascular thrombus was visible under the microscope. The length of vessel thrombosis in the experimental group was 2 mm and the diameter was 2 mm; the control group exhibited thrombi as 2.3–4.9 mm in length. Thrombosis completely blocked the blood vessels.Conclusion The 1.32-μm laser had greater vaporization capability than the 1.06-μm laser and achieved hemostasis requirements for vessels less than 2 mm in diameter.
