Clinical Effect of Dendrobium officinale Kimura et Migo from Longhushan on Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes

[Objectives] To observe and compare the clinical effect and safety of Dendrobium officinale Kimura et Migo from Longhushan on treatment of type 2 diabetes. [Methods] 90 patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly divi... [Objectives] To observe and compare the clinical effect and safety of Dendrobium officinale Kimura et Migo from Longhushan on treatment of type 2 diabetes. [Methods] 90 patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly divided into group A,group B and control group by randomized control method. Group A adopted D. officinale Kimura et Migo and metformin hydrochloride; group B adopted D. officinale Kimura et Migo; the control group adopted metformin hydrochloride. The fasting plasma glucose( FPG) of 3 groups was measured before the treatment and 2 weeks,4 weeks,6 weeks,8 weeks,10 weeks,and 12 weeks after the treatment,Hb A1 c was measured and diabetes symptom grade score was counted before the treatment and 12 weeks after treatment,observation indicators and clinical effect of 3 groups of patients were compared. [Results] The fasting plasma glucose level in group A was lower than that in other 2 groups,the difference was statistically significant( P < 0. 01),and there was no statistical significance in the difference between group B and the control group( P >0. 05); Hb A1 c of group A for 12 weeks after treatment was lower than that of other 2 groups,the difference was statistically significant( P < 0. 01),and there was no statistical significance in the difference between group B and the control group( P > 0. 05); the difference in diabetes symptom grade score of group A was greater than that in other 2 groups,the difference was statistically significant( P < 0. 01),and there was no statistical significance in the difference between group B and the control group( P > 0. 05). [Conclusions]D. officinale Kimura et Migo from Longhushan can effectively reduce the fasting plasma glucose level and Hb A1 c of type 2 diabetic patients and effectively improve the symptoms of patients; clinical application of D. officinale Kimura et Migo has equivalent effect with metformin hydrochloride,and combination of D. officinale Kimura et Migo with metformin hydrochloride has better effect than single use. 展开更多

Texture evolution in rolled Mg-1 wt%Zn and Mg-1 wt%Y binary alloys was analyzed by quasi-in situ electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD)during static recrystallization.Mg-1 wt%Zn and Mg-1 wt%Y alloys exhibited strong basal texture at the initial recrystallization state.After grain growth annealing,the basal texture component{0001}<1120>was increased in Mg-1 wt%Zn alloy and that of Mg-1 wt%Y alloy was decreased to be a random texture.Zn and Y atoms segregated strongly to the recrystallized grain boundaries in Mg-1 wt%Zn alloy and Mg-1 wt%Y alloy,respectively.Thus,Zn and Y elements facilitated the grain boundary movements along contrary directions during grain growth.In Mg-1 wt%Zn alloy,due to the Zn element segregation on grain boundaries,the grains consisted of a strong texture grew more easily because the grain boundary migration tended to move from the orientation close to normal direction to the orientation near to transverse direction or rolling direction.Therefore,after grain growth,the volume fraction of texture component{0001}<1120>was increased by consuming the neighboring grains,leading to a stronger basal texture.On the contrary,in the Mg-1 wt%Y alloy,the Y element segregation caused the opposite direction of grain boundary migration,resulting in a random texture. 展开更多

Purpose The Filed of View(FOV)of eXTP/LAD is limited by lead-glass capillary plate collimators placed in front of the Silicon Drift Detectors(SDDs)for reducing the background contamination caused by the photons of Cosmic X-ray Background(CXB)leaking from outside the FOV.The core quality parameters of lead-glass capillary plate collimators are Open Area Ratio(OAR)and FOV.The performance of lead-glass capillary plate collimators is determined by its design specification such as pore-to-pore misalignment,pore perpendicularity with collimator surface and pore diameter.Since the design specification is the result of a large number of micropores,we use the full width at half maximum(FWHM)and peak value of point spread function(PSF)to characterize the capillary plate collimator performance.In order to quickly evaluate the performances of collimators,we developed a direct PSF measurement method using divergent beams.Methods In this paper,the simulation package of the divergent beamsmeasurement setup is developed based on Geant4.The simulation parameters of scintillator absorption length are corrected by experimental data.We simulate the PSF of collimators with different distribution of pore diameter and misalignment by parallel beams and divergent beams.By comparing the peak value and FWHM of collimators PSF,the feasibility in replacing parallel beams measurement with divergent beams measurement is studied.Results It is verified that the influence of the geometric size of 33μm radius of the micro-focus of X-ray tube can be ignored.The results show that the FWHM of collimators is increased with error root mean square error(RMS)of the distribution of collimators pore diameter and pore inclination angle.The peak value of PSF is mainly influenced by pore non-parallelism of the pores,and it decreases with an increase in pore inclination angle.Comparison of parallel beams PSF and divergent beams PSF shows well consistency of peak value and FWHM of collimator.But,the peak value of the divergent beams PSF is mainly affected by the defects of the pores close to the optical axis and result in difference from the parallel beams results consequently.We have developed capillary plate collimators response function based on the projected area function of a cylindrical pore and the fluorescence broadening of the scintillator and fitted PSF by response function.The capillary plate collimator open area ratio is calculated by using the micropores radius and collimator frame thickness obtained by fitting parameter,and the result is close to the parallel beams PSF.Conclusion The feasibility divergent beams measurement is verified. 展开更多

Chemically defined medium is widely used for culturing mouse embryonic stem cells(mESCs),in which N2B27 works as a substitution for serum,and GSK3βand MEK inhibitors(2i)help to promote ground-state pluripo-tency.However,recent studies suggested that MEKi might cause irreversible defects that compromise the developmental potential of mESCs.Here,we demon-strated the deficient bone morphogenetic protein(BMP)signal in the chemically defined condition is one of the main causes for the impaired pluripotency.Mechanisti-cally,activating the BMP signal pathway by BMP4 could safeguard the chromosomal integrity and proliferation capacity of mESCs through regulating downstream tar-gets Ube2s and Chmp4b.More importantly,BMP4 pro-motes a distinct in vivo developmental potential and a long-term pluripotency preservation.Besides,the pluripotent improvements driven by BMP4 are superior to those by attenuating MEK suppression.Taken together,our study shows appropriate activation of BMP signal is essential for regulating functional pluripotency and reveals that BMP4 should be applied in the serum-free culture system. 展开更多

【目的】测定金龟子绿僵菌(Metarhizium anisopliae)对斜纹夜蛾(Spodoptera litura)2龄幼虫的毒力,研究金龟子绿僵菌侵染后寄主体内抗氧化酶活性和肠道内细菌群落的变化,探讨斜纹夜蛾对金龟子绿僵菌侵染的防御机制。【方法】采用浸渍法... 【目的】测定金龟子绿僵菌(Metarhizium anisopliae)对斜纹夜蛾(Spodoptera litura)2龄幼虫的毒力,研究金龟子绿僵菌侵染后寄主体内抗氧化酶活性和肠道内细菌群落的变化,探讨斜纹夜蛾对金龟子绿僵菌侵染的防御机制。【方法】采用浸渍法测定不同浓度金龟子绿僵菌对斜纹夜蛾2龄幼虫的毒力;应用Illumina MiSeq高通量测序技术测定肠道细菌群落。【结果】不同浓度的孢悬液对斜纹夜蛾2龄幼虫均有一定的毒力,处理7 d时半致死浓度(LC_(50))为3.944×10^(7)个孢子/mL;浓度为1.0×10^(9)个孢子/mL时,半致死时间最短(LT_(50))为4.6 d,校正后的死亡率为81.03%。处理后未致死的斜纹夜蛾幼虫体内抗氧化酶活性显著高于对照组。处理后致死的斜纹夜蛾幼虫肠道细菌群落多样性显著高于对照组;且处理后致死的斜纹夜蛾幼虫肠道细菌群落组成与对照组差异显著。【结论】金龟子绿僵菌对斜纹夜蛾幼虫的致死率和致死效率与金龟子绿僵菌的浓度呈正相关;斜纹夜蛾幼虫体内的抗氧化酶可能在抵抗金龟子绿僵菌侵染的过程中起重要作用。金龟子绿僵菌的侵染会导致斜纹夜蛾幼虫肠道细菌群落多样性升高和组成发生变化,Enterococcus、Escherichia和Pseudomonas等属可能是影响斜纹夜蛾幼虫抵抗金龟子绿僵菌侵染致死的重要因素。 展开更多
