BACKGROUND Stem cell therapy has shown great potential for treating diabetic foot(DF).AIM To conduct a bibliometric analysis of studies on the use of stem cell therapy for DF over the past two decades, with the aim of depicting the current global research landscape, identifying the most influential research hotspots, and providing insights for future research directions.METHODS We searched the Web of Science Core Collection database for all relevant studies on the use of stem cell therapy in DF.Bibliometric analysis was carried out using CiteSpace,VOSviewer, and R(4.3.1)to identify the most notable studies.RESULTS A search was conducted to identify publications related to the use of stem cells for DF treatment.A total of 542 articles published from 2000 to 2023 were identified. The United States had published the most papers on this subject. In this field,Iran’s Shahid Beheshti University Medical Sciences demonstrated the highest productivity.Furthermore,Dr.Bayat from the same university has been an outstanding researcher in this field.Stem Cell Research&Therapy is the journal with the highest number of publications in this field. The main keywords were“diabetic foot ulcers,”“wound healing,”and“angiogenesis.”CONCLUSION This study systematically illustrated the advances in the use of stem cell therapy to treat DF over the past 23 years.Current research findings suggested that the hotspots in this field include stem cell dressings, exosomes, wound healing, and adipose-derived stem cells.Future research should also focus on the clinical translation of stem cell therapies for DF. 展开更多

Objective: To overview the systematic reviews of acupuncture for Post-stroke Dysphagia. Methods: The Chinese and English databases were searched for the systematic reviews of dysphagia after acupuncture treatment. The retrieval time was until October 30, 2019. The final literature was evaluated for bias risk, methodology quality and evidence quality by using ROBIS tool, AMSTER-2 scale and GRADE method. Results: 9 systematic reviews and 36 outcomes were included. ROBIS bias risk assessment results show that all the studies are high bias risk;AMSTER-2 methodology quality assessment results show that all the systems are of very low quality;GRADE grading shows that there are only 7 intermediate evidences in 36 clinical evidences, the rest are low-level evidences or very low-level evidences, and there are multiple intermediate evidences in the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of dysphagia after stroke. In addition, acupuncture can significantly improve the scores of all kinds of swallowing function related scales, such as Tengdao food intake swallowing function grade, swallowing disorder specific quality of life score, standard swallowing function evaluation scale, and the incidence of adverse reactions is low. Conclusion: Acupuncture is effective in the treatment of dysphagia after stroke. It can improve the scores of various swallowing function scales and has high safety. However, the risk of systematic evaluation bias is high, the quality of methodology is low, and the level of clinical evidence is low as a whole. In the future, the relevant research design should be more rigorous, and the research report should be written in strict accordance with the PRISMA statement. 展开更多

Primary erythema limb pain is a very rare disease, and its pathogenesis is not clear.Usually, the pain symptoms of patients exist for a long time, which seriously affect the daily life of patients and increase the economic burden of patients.Professor Liu Guobin, who has been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular diseases for nearly 30 years, believes that heat-toxin and blood stasis collaterals are closely related to the disease, and emphasizes the principle of heat-toxin and evil qi causing the disease. It is emphasized that clearing heat and detoxification, promoting blood circulation and dispersing blood stasis are the main treatment principles. This paper selects a typical case to describe Professor Liu's clinical experience in the treatment of primary erythema limb pain by oral and external use of traditional Chinese medicine,so as to provide an effective method of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of primary erythema limb pain. 展开更多

Objective: To analyze the advantages of Traditional Chinese Cutting Therapy at the present stage and the characteristics of clinical research and application, so as to provide a basis for clinical treatment and research. Methods: Search the Chinese and English databases of relevant literatures on Traditional Chinese Cutting Therapy, and make statistics and Analysis on the distribution, types, distribution, indications and dominant diseases, the number of cases, clinical efficiency, intervention measures and operation sites of the published literatures. Results: A total of 311 articles were included. There are 40 indications for Traditional Chinese Cutting Therapy at this stage. The dominant diseases are psoriasis, asthma, facial paralysis, rhinitis, neurodermatitis, facial neuritis, chloasma, acne, migraine and insomnia. Traditional Chinese Cutting Therapy is closely related to meridian theory. At present, there are few theoretical and basic studies, the quality of relevant clinical studies is low, and the writing standard of research reports is inadequate. Conclusion: At present, the indications of Traditional Chinese Cutting Therapy are extensive, and the dominant diseases are concentrated, with dermatological diseases and neurological diseases as the main diseases. In the future, we should increase theoretical research and basic research, attach importance to the combination of meridian theory and Traditional Chinese Cutting Therapy, and standardize the implementation of clinical research and the writing of reports. 展开更多

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Buyanghuanwu (BYHW) decoction for the treatment of ischemic stroke convalescence. Methods: CNKI, Wanfang knowledge service platform, VIP journal database, Chinese biomedical literature database (CBM), Pubmed, the Cochrane Library, Science Citation Index (SCI) and Elsevier SD databases were searched from the origin time to May 2018. Cochrane recommended bias risk assessment method was used to evaluate the bias risk. Review Manager 5.3 was used to perform meta-analysis. Results: A total of 12 studies with a 1246 cases were included in the study. The results of the analysis showed that the efficacy of BYHW decoction combined with western medicine treatment was better than that of control group (OR = 2.88, 95% CI (2.10,3.95), P < 0.001)]. The neurological deficit score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant [MD =-2.84, 95% CI (-3.22,-2.45), P < 0.001]. The scores of daily living ability in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant [MD = 8.89, 95% CI (7.61, 10.16), P <0.00001]. In the safety aspect, the results of the study are different, and there was a lack of quantitative indicators to evaluate the objectivity of adverse reactions. Conclusion: BYHW decoction combined with the Western medicine is an effective treatment for the recovery period of cerebral infarction, which can significantly improve the clinical efficacy, improve patients' neurological symptoms and their quality of life. 展开更多
