Phase engineering of Ni-Mn binary layered oxide cathodes for sodiumion batteries

Nickel-manganese binary layered oxides with high working potential and low cost are potential candidates for sodium-ion batteries,but their electrochemical properties are highly related to compositional diversity.Diverse composite materials with various phase structures of P3,P2/P3,P2,P2/O3,and P2/P3/O3 were synthesized by manipulating the sodium content and calcination conditions,leading to the construction of a synthetic phase diagram for Na_(x)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.75)O_(2)(0.45≤x≤1.1).Then,we compared the electrochemical characteristics and structural evolution during the desodiation/sodiation process of P2,P2/P3,P2/03,and P2/P3/O3-Na_(x)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.75)O_(2).Among them,P2/P3-Na0.75Ni0.25Mn0.75O2exhibits the best rate capability of 90.9 mA h g^(-1)at 5 C,with an initial discharge capacity of 142.62 mA h g^(-1)at 0.1 C and a capacity retention rate of 78.25%after 100 cycles at 1 C in the voltage range of 2-4.3 V.The observed superior sodium storage performance of P2/P3 hybrids compared to other composite phases can be attributed to the enhanced Na^(+)transfer dynamic,reduction of the Jahn-teller effect,and improved reaction reversibility induced by the synergistic effect of P2 and P3 phases.The systematic research and exploration of phases in Na_(x)Ni_(0.25)Mn_(0.75)O_(2)provide new sights into high-performance nickel-manganese binary layered oxide for sodium-ion batteries. 展开更多

Despite the urgent need for conservation consideration,strategic action plans for the preservation of the Asian honeybee,Apis cerana Fabricius,1793,remain lacking.Both the convergent and divergent adaptations of this widespread insect have led to confusing phenotypical traits and inconsistent infraspecific taxonomy.Unclear subspecies boundaries pose a significant challenge to honeybee conservation efforts,as it is difficult to effectively prioritize conservation targets without a clear understanding of subspecies identities.Here,we investigated genome variations in 362 worker bees representing almost all populations of mainland A.cerana to understand how evolution has shaped its population structure.Whole-genome single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs)based on nuclear sequences revealed eight putative subspecies,with all seven peripheral subspecies exhibiting mutually exclusive monophyly and distinct genetic divergence from the widespread central subspecies.Our results demonstrated that most classic morphological traits,including body size,were related to the climatic variables of the local habitats and did not reflect the true evolutionary history of the organism.Thus,such morphological traits were not suitable for subspecific delineation.Conversely,wing vein characters showed relative independence to the environment and supported the subspecies boundaries inferred from nuclear genomes.Mitochondrial phylogeny further indicated that the present subspecies structure was a result of multiple waves of population divergence from a common ancestor.Based on our findings,we propose that criteria for subspecies delineation should be based on evolutionary independence,trait distinction,and geographic isolation.We formally defined and described eight subspecies of mainland A.cerana.Elucidation of the evolutionary history and subspecies boundaries enables a customized conservation strategy for both widespread and endemic honeybee conservation units,guiding colony introduction and breeding. 展开更多

Molybdenum carbide(MO_(2)C)materials are promising electrocatalysts with potential applications in hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)due to low cost and Pt-like electronic structures.Nevertheless,their HER activity is usually hindered by the strong hydrogen binding energy.Moreover,the lack of water-cleaving site's makes it difficult for the catalysts to work in alkaline solutions.Here,we designed and synthesized a B and N dual-doped carbon layer that encapsulated on MO_(2)C nanocrystals(MO_(2)C@BNC)for accelerating HER under alkaline condition.The electronic interactions between the MO_(2)C nanocrystals and the multiple-doped carbon layer endow a near-zero H adsorption Gibbs free energy on the defective C atoms over the carbon shell.Meanwhile,the introduced B atoms afford optimal H_2O adsorption sites for the water-cleaving step.Accordingly,the dual-doped MO_(2)C catalyst with synergistic effect of non-metal sites delivers superior HER performances of a low overpotential(99 mV@10 mA cm^(-2))and a small Tafel slope(58.1 mV dec^(-1))in 1 M KOH solution.Furthermore,it presents a remarkable activity that outperforming the commercial 10%Pt/C catalyst at large current density,demonstrating its applicability in industrial water splitting.This study provides a reasonable design strategy towards noble-metal-free HER catalysts with high activity. 展开更多

Lymphatic metastasis(LM)emerges as an independent prognostic marker for hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma(HSPSCC),chiefly contributing to treatment inefficacy.This study aimed to scrutinize the prognostic relevance of HSP90AA1 and its potential regulatory mechanism of concerning LM in HPSCC.Methods:In a preceding investigation,HSP90AA1,a differential gene,was discovered through transcriptome sequencing of HPSCC tissues,considering both the presence and absence of LM.Validation of HSP90AA1 expression was accomplished via qRT-PCR,western-blotting(WB),and immunohistochemistry(IHC),while its prognostic significance was assessed employing Kaplan–Meier survival analysis(KMSA),log-rank test(LR),and Cox’s regression analysis(CRA).Bioinformatics techniques facilitated the prediction and analysis of its plausible mechanisms in LM,further substantiated by in vitro and in vivo experiments utilizing FaDu cell lines.Results:HSP90AA1 is substantially upregulated in HPSCC with LM and is identified as an independent prognostic risk determinant.The down-regulation of HSP90AA1 can achieve inhibition of tumor cell proliferation,migration and invasion.Both in vivo experiments and Bioinformatics exploration hint at promoting LM by Epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT),regulated by HSP90AA1.Conclusions:HSP90AA1,by controlling EMT,can foster LM in HPSCC.This finding sets the foundation for delving into new therapeutic targets for HPSCC. 展开更多

Large-scale CO(J=1-0)Observations toward the M120.1+3.0 Molecular Cloud:A Filament with a Chain of Starburst Clusters

We present large-scale(2°×2°)observations toward the molecular cloud M120.1+3.0,using ^(12)CO,^(13)CO and C^(18)O(J=1-0)data from the Purple Mountain Observatory 13.7 m millimeter telescope.The distance of the cloud is measured to be~1.1 kpc.Using the ^(13)CO data,we identify a main filament F1 and two sub-filaments F2 and F3 in the cloud,which together show a"hub-filament"structure.Filaments F1 and F2 are thermally supercritical.Furthermore,F1 displays clear localized systematic motions in the ^(13)CO position-velocity diagram,which could be explained by accretion along the filament.The mean estimated accretion rate is~132M_(⊙)Myr^(-1).Approximately 150 ^(13)CO clumps are identified in the cloud,of which 39 are gravitationally bound.Most of these virialized clumps are well distributed along the supercritical filaments F1 and F2.Based on the complementary infrared and optical data,we identify~186 young stellar objects in the observed area and extract five clusters within the dense ridge of F1.The calculated star formation rate(SFR)surface densities(∑_(SFR))in the clusters range from 1.4 to 2.5 M_(⊙)Myr^(-1)pc^(-2),with a mean value of~2.0M_(⊙)Myr^(-1)pc^(-2).We therefore regard them as mini-starburst cluster candidates.The comparison between ∑_(SFR) and column density N_(gas) along the skeleton of F1 suggests that star formation is closely related to the dense gas in the cloud.Along the main filament F1,five bipolar outflows are also found.All these results indicate intense star-forming activities in the M120.1+3.0 molecular cloud. 展开更多

The direct emission of waste refinery gas after combustion will cause a severe greenhouse effect.Recovering high-value-added ethylene from wasted refinery gas has fundamental economic and environmental significance. Due to the complexity of the composition of refinery waste gas, designing and optimizing the whole recovery process is still a challenging task. Herein, a novel process(SCOAS) was proposed to obtain polymer-grade ethylene from wasted refinery gas through a direct separation process,and heat pump-assisted thermal integration optimization(HPSCOAS) was carried out. The unique feature of the novel approach is that a new stripper and ethylene reabsorber follow the dry gas absorber to ensure ethylene recovery and methane content. An industrial model, shallow cooling oil absorption(SCOA), and concentration combined cold separation system of ethylene unit using wasted refinery gas was established to analyze the technology and environment. Based on the detailed process modeling and simulation results, the quantitative sustainability assessment of economy and environment based on product life cycle process is carried out. The results show that compared with the traditional process when the same product is obtained, the total annual cost of the HPSCOAS process is the lowest, which is 15.4% lower than that of the SCOA process and 6.1% lower than that of the SCOAS process. In addition,compared with the SCOA process and the HPSCOAS process, the SCOAS process has more environmental advantages. The non-renewable energy consumed by SCOAS is reduced by about 24.8% and 6.1%, respectively. The CO_(2) equivalent is reduced by about 38.6% and 23.7%. 展开更多

Homoepitaxial growth of Si-doped β-Ga_(2)O_(3) films on semi-insulating(100) β-Ga_(2)O_(3) substrates by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition(MOCVD) is studied in this work. By appropriately optimizing the growth conditions, an increasing diffusion length of Ga adatoms is realized, suppressing 3D island growth patterns prevalent in(100) β-Ga_(2)O_(3) films and optimizing the surface morphology with [010] oriented stripe features. The slightly Si-doped β-Ga_(2)O_(3) film shows smooth and flat surface morphology with a root-mean-square roughness of 1.3 nm. Rocking curves of the(400) diffraction peak also demonstrate the high crystal quality of the Si-doped films. According to the capacitance–voltage characteristics, the effective net doping concentrations of the films are 5.41 × 10~(15) – 1.74 × 10~(20) cm~(-3). Hall measurements demonstrate a high electron mobility value of 51cm~2/(V·s), corresponding to a carrier concentration of 7.19 × 10~(18) cm~(-3) and a high activation efficiency of up to 61.5%. Transmission line model(TLM) measurement shows excellent Ohmic contacts and a low specific contact resistance of 1.29 × 10~(-4) Ω·cm~2 for the Si-doped film, which is comparable to the Si-implanted film with a concentration of 5.0 × 10~(19) cm~(-3), confirming the effective Si doing in the MOCVD epitaxy. 展开更多

Transradial access(TRA)is a safe and comfortable approach and the preferred access for percutaneous coronary intervention.However,TRA is not widely used for peripheral interventions.Currently,there is a lack of data on patient selection,appropriate medical devices,complication prevention,and TRA adoption.Therefore,the Chinese Society of Interventional Oncology of the China Anti-Cancer Association organized nationwide experts to establish a Working Group of China Expert Consensus on TRA in percutaneous peripheral interventions in 2022,and jointly formulated this consensus to better promote the application of TRA in peripheral interventions to guide clinicians on patient selection,technical recommendations,and physician training.This consensus mainly focuses on the current situation,advantages and limitations of TRA in peripheral interventions,anatomical characteristics of the radial artery,patient selection,technical aspects,prevention and management of complications,radiation dose,and learning curve.A consensus was reached through a literature evaluation and by referring to the opinions of the expert group. 展开更多

Lentinula edodes is the second largest edible mushroom in the world and is widely used as food and medicine.Modern research shows that lentinan(LNT)is the main active component of L.edodes.It has anti-cancer,treatment of diabetes,intestinal protection,anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidation,anti-aging,hepatoprotective,immune-regulating effects.In this review,the biological activity,action mechanism and structure-activity relationship of LNT in recent years are reviewed.On this basis,the existing problems were discussed,and the future research and application of LNT were prospected.Finally,it is hoped that this review will promote the in-depth study of LNT and provide a reference for its development as a drug and functional food. 展开更多

The exponential growth of bioinformatics tools in recent years has posed challenges for scientists in selecting the most suitable one for their data analysis assignments.Therefore,to aid scientists in making informed choices,a community-based platform that indexes and rates bioinformatics tools is urgently needed.In this study,we introduce Bio Treasury(http://biotreasury.rjmart.cn),an integrated communitybased repository that provides an interactive platform for users and developers to share their experiences in various bioinformatics tools.Bio Treasury offers a comprehensive collection of well-indexed bioinformatics software,tools,and databases,totaling over 10,000 entries.In the past two years,we have continuously improved and maintained Bio Treasury,adding several exciting features,including creating structured homepages for every tool and user,a hierarchical category of bioinformatics tools and classifying tools using large language model(LLM).Bio Treasury streamlines the tool submission process with intelligent auto-completion.Additionally,Bio Treasury provides a wide range of social features,for example,enabling users to participate in interactive discussions,rate tools,build and share tool collections for the public.We believe Bio Treasury can be a valuable resource and knowledge-sharing platform for the biomedical community.It empowers researchers to effectively discover and evaluate bioinformatics tools,fostering collaboration and advancing bioinformatics research. 展开更多

对儿童学习和发展结果的评估与监控是教育质量监测的重要内容。学前儿童数学监测指标体系本质上是对3~6岁儿童在与数学学习有关的知识、能力、态度、学习品质等方面的发展的较为系统的期望。在厘清21世纪创新社会对人才数学素养要求的... 对儿童学习和发展结果的评估与监控是教育质量监测的重要内容。学前儿童数学监测指标体系本质上是对3~6岁儿童在与数学学习有关的知识、能力、态度、学习品质等方面的发展的较为系统的期望。在厘清21世纪创新社会对人才数学素养要求的基础上,参考国内外研究文献和国内相关政策文件,本研究构建了学前儿童数学监测指标体系草案,然后采用德尔菲专家访谈方法,结合幼儿园教师在实践中的实际使用情况与反馈,对该指标体系进行了内容效度检验,并根据检验结果对指标体系进行了多次修改,最终确定的监测指标体系包含数学知识技能、过程性能力、态度和学习品质三个方面共20条指标,今后应进一步开发和完善与这一数学监测指标体系相匹配的注重儿童数学问题解决过程的诊断性测评工具和适合教师使用的观察评定表,以更好地发挥监测为改进教学、促进儿童发展服务的功能。 展开更多

基于认知诊断评估理论和技术,本研究采用文献分析、专家研讨和口语报告法构建5~6岁儿童"数与运算"领域数学问题解决的认知模型,对627名5~6岁儿童进行认知诊断评估,运用认知诊断模型—数据拟合对认知模型和诊断测验进行质量... 基于认知诊断评估理论和技术,本研究采用文献分析、专家研讨和口语报告法构建5~6岁儿童"数与运算"领域数学问题解决的认知模型,对627名5~6岁儿童进行认知诊断评估,运用认知诊断模型—数据拟合对认知模型和诊断测验进行质量检验。结果显示,认知属性对题目难度的解释量为0.879,效应量为0.834,平均HCI为0.749;认知诊断测验题目的平均区分度为0.707(标准差为0.299);除两题的题目拟合度S-X^2指标的显著性水平<0.01,其他题目的拟合度都较好;测验的信度为0.95;平均掌握概率与测验总分呈单调递增曲线。以上结果说明,本研究构建的儿童数学问题解决认知模型良好,编制的认知诊断测验具有较理想的测量信度与效度,可以作为评估儿童数学问题解决的有效工具,并可以提供精细丰富的诊断信息,从而为相关教育教学及干预研究提供科学依据。 展开更多
