Objective:To design and manufacture medical scrotal support shorts for patients with enlarged scrotum and observe its application and effect.Methods:40 patients with enlarged scrotum admitted to the basic surgery depa...Objective:To design and manufacture medical scrotal support shorts for patients with enlarged scrotum and observe its application and effect.Methods:40 patients with enlarged scrotum admitted to the basic surgery department from February 2021 to March 2023 were selected and divided into a test group and a control group according to their time of admission,with the test group using scrotal support shorts and the control group using ordinary shorts without scrotal support pockets or diapers.Results:The complication rate of skin injury in the scrotum and the surrounding inguinal area of the patients in the test group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).The medical cost covered by patients in the test group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01)and the hospitalization satisfaction of the patients in the test group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).The difference in the therapeutic effect of the test groups was statistically significant when compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Homemade medical scrotal support shorts reduced the local enlargement of the scrotum and bleeding,but also protected the scrotum and the surrounding skin to prevent secondary injuries.The process of patient care was simple and promoted their recovery.The length of hospitalization was also decreased,the burden of health care costs was reduced,and the overall comfort and satisfaction of the patient was improved.展开更多
The depolymerization and upgrading of lignin from raw biomass,while keeping cellulose intact is important in biorefinery and various metal-based catalysts have been used in reductive catalytic fractionation,a key meth...The depolymerization and upgrading of lignin from raw biomass,while keeping cellulose intact is important in biorefinery and various metal-based catalysts have been used in reductive catalytic fractionation,a key method in"lignin-first"strategy,Recently,we found that a core-shell structured Co@CoO catalyst with CoO shell as the real active site had excellent performance in the hydrogenolysis of 5-hydromethylfurfural to 2,5-dimethylfuran due to its unique ability to dissociate H_(2)and yield active H^(δ-)species(Xiang et al.,2022).In this work,we report a one-pot depolymerization and upgrading of lignocellulose to alkylcyclohexanols,a flavour precursor,with intact cellulose over this unique core-shell structured catalyst,Co@CoO.Lignin model compounds(β-O-4,4-O-5,α-O-4)were first used to clarify the activity of Co@CoO catalyst.Then,the one-pot conversion of various organosolv lignin(birch,pine and poplar)to alkylcyclohexanols was realized with the mass yield of alkylcyclohexanols up to25.8 wt%from birch lignin under the reaction condition of 210℃,1 MPa H_(2),16 h.Finally,the corresponding woody sawdusts were used as feedstocks and found that the Co@CoO catalyst indeed preferentially depolymerized and upgraded the lignin part and obtained the same alkylcyclohexanols products with the retention of cellulose-rich pulp.The collected alkylcyclohexanols were further esterified to obtain valueadded esters,which can be used as flavors.This work will inspire the design of new efficient metal oxide catalysts in lignin fractionation and depolymerization to high-value-added chemicals with intact cellulose.展开更多
The catalytic conversion of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF) to 2,5-dimethylfuran(DMF) has attracted extensive research interests because DMF can be used as potential and competitive renewable transportation fuel or addit...The catalytic conversion of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF) to 2,5-dimethylfuran(DMF) has attracted extensive research interests because DMF can be used as potential and competitive renewable transportation fuel or additives. Here we report a non-noble bimetallic catalyst with improved activity for hydrogenation and hydrogenolysis by introducing active carbon as support into a nickel–cobalt catalyst. The characterizations of the catalyst indicate that the Ni and Co species are uniformly dispersed on the active carbon through the wetness impregnation method. The influences of reaction temperature and hydrogen pressure are systematically investigated and an excellent yield(up to 95%) of DMF can be obtained at relatively mild conditions, 130 °C and 1 MPa H_2, over the carbon supported Ni–Co bimetallic catalyst. The high catalytic activity originates from the synergistic effect between Ni and CoO xspecies, the high BET surface area of the catalyst, and the uniform dispersion of Ni and Co species on the active carbon. The catalyst could be reused for 5 times without loss of activity in a batch reactor. Futhermore, the conversion of HMF to DMF on a fixed-bed reactor was also investigated and the 2%Ni–20%Co/C catalyst exhibited an excellent yield to DMF(>90%) for 71 h time on stream, indicating the high activity and stability of the catalyst.展开更多

This paper is concerned with the set-membership filtering problem for a class of linear time-varying systems with norm-bounded noises and impulsive measurement outliers.A new representation is proposed to model the me...This paper is concerned with the set-membership filtering problem for a class of linear time-varying systems with norm-bounded noises and impulsive measurement outliers.A new representation is proposed to model the measurement outlier by an impulsive signal whose minimum interval length(i.e.,the minimum duration between two adjacent impulsive signals)and minimum norm(i.e.,the minimum of the norms of all impulsive signals)are larger than certain thresholds that are adjustable according to engineering practice.In order to guarantee satisfactory filtering performance,a so-called parameter-dependent set-membership filter is put forward that is capable of generating a time-varying ellipsoidal region containing the true system state.First,a novel outlier detection strategy is developed,based on a dedicatedly constructed input-output model,to examine whether the received measurement is corrupted by an outlier.Then,through the outcome of the outlier detection,the gain matrix of the desired filter and the corresponding ellipsoidal region are calculated by solving two recursive difference equations.Furthermore,the ultimate boundedness issue on the time-varying ellipsoidal region is thoroughly investigated.Finally,a simulation example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed parameter-dependent set-membership filtering strategy.展开更多
We described the construction of BAC contigs of the genome of a indica variety of Oryza sativa, Guang Lu Ai 4.An entire representative (sixfold coverage of rice chromosomes) and genetically stable BAC library of rice ...We described the construction of BAC contigs of the genome of a indica variety of Oryza sativa, Guang Lu Ai 4.An entire representative (sixfold coverage of rice chromosomes) and genetically stable BAC library of rice genome constructed in this lab has been systematically analysed by restriction enzyme fragmentation and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. And all the images thus obtained were subject to image-processing, which consisted of preliminary location of bands, cooperative tracking of lanesby correlation of adjacent bands, a precise densitometric pass, alignment at the marker bands with the standard,optional interactive editing, and normalization of the accepted bands. The contigs were generated based on the Computer Software specially designed for genome map ping. The number of contigs with 600 kb in length on average was 464; of contigs with 1000 kb in length on average was 107; of contigs with 1500 kb in length on average was 23. Therefore, all the contigs we have obtained amounted up to 420 megabases in length. Considering the size of rice genome (430 megabased), the contigs generated in this lab have covered nearly 98% of the rice genome. We are now in the process of mapping the contigs to chromosomes.展开更多
Background:Left bundle branch block(LBBB)-induced cardiomyopathy has been proposed,but the association between LBBB and cardiac resynchronization therapy(CRT)response remains unclear and practical criteria for selecti...Background:Left bundle branch block(LBBB)-induced cardiomyopathy has been proposed,but the association between LBBB and cardiac resynchronization therapy(CRT)response remains unclear and practical criteria for selecting CRT candidates are needed.Methods:One hundred and seventeen consecutive heart failure patients were reviewed,24 of whom received CRT.Only two patients had a clear temporal relation between cardiomyopathy and LBBB.Results:Compared with the patient with“cardiomyopathy-induced LBBB,”the patient with“LBBB-induced cardiomyopathy”had higher left ventricular(LV)wall thickness,higher LV wall thickening rate,higher peak circumferential strain,and longer peak circumferential strain delay.The LV deformation patterns in the two patients were obviously distinct on cardiovascular magnetic resonance tissue tracking.During follow-up,the patient with LBBB-induced cardiomyopathy had a good response to CRT(LV ejection fraction 23 before CRT vs.30%at 6 months vs.29 at 12 months vs.32%at 18 months;LV end-diastolic diameter 77 mm before CRT vs.66 mm at 6 months vs.62 mm at 12 months vs.63 mm at 18 months),and the other patient had no response to CRT(LV ejection fraction 29 before CRT vs.29%at 6 months vs.26 at 12 months vs.22%at 24 months;LV end-diastolic diameter 85 mm before CRT vs.88 mm at 6 months vs.85 mm at 12 months vs.84 mm at 24 months).Conclusion:The temporal relation between cardiomyopathy and LBBB could be a determinant for CRT response.Cardiovascular magnetic resonance tissue tracking may be a useful tool to identify the chronological order and a principal consideration for selecting candidates for CRT.Larger prospective clinical trials are needed to study the prevalence of,time course of,and risk factors for LBBB-induced cardiomyopathy.展开更多

[Methods] The collected ovaries were randomly and evenly divided into four groups. They were preserved in physiological saline containing penicillin( 100 IU/ml) and streptomycin( 100 μg/ml) at 15-20 ℃ for 0( Control),6,12 and 18 h,respectively. Then,the oocytes were subjected to in vitro fertilization. [Results]The maturation rates,cleavage rates and blastocyst rates of the oocytes preserved for 6 and 12 h showed no significant differences compared with those of the oocytes preserved for0 h( 72. 03%,70. 87% vs. 73. 68%; 74. 12%,72. 60% vs. 74. 49%; 22. 22%,20. 75% vs. 23. 29%)( P > 0. 05). There were also no significant differences in maturation rate,cleavage rate or blastocyst rate between the oocytes preserved for 18 and 0 h( P > 0. 05). [Conclusions] Within a certain rage( 0-18 h),storage time of ovary at 15-20 ℃ does not affect the continued development of oocytes from slaughtered sheep.展开更多
Inorganic NiO_(x) based inverted structure perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is reported to be more stable than that with the organic hole transport materials.In this work,NiO_(x)/MAPbI_(3) interface chemical reaction ind...Inorganic NiO_(x) based inverted structure perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is reported to be more stable than that with the organic hole transport materials.In this work,NiO_(x)/MAPbI_(3) interface chemical reaction induced instability of perovskite is unveiled:Ni^(3+) and I^(-) exhibit redox reactions and deprotonation of MA^(+) happens,which result in interface defects and perovskite lattice deformation.Thus the defective interface accelerates the degradation of perovskite by defect pathways from the bottom interface to the perovskite surface contacting H_(2)O/O_(2).Self-assembled interlayer of NH_(2)^(-)end silane on NiO_(x)separates the reactive NiO_(x)and MAPbI_(3),tunes the interface energy states by–NH_(2) end group.As a result,the PSC based on the silane treated NiO_(x)achieves enhanced PCE of 20.1%with decent stability under environmental and extreme conditions (high temperature,high humidity,light infiltration).Our work highlights the interface chemical problem induced PSC instability and a simple interface modification to achieve the stable PSCs.展开更多
To better understand dragonflies’remarkable flapping wing aerodynamic performance,we measured the kinematic parameters of the wings in two different flight modes(Normal Flight Mode(NFM)and Escape Flight Mode(EFM)).Wh...To better understand dragonflies’remarkable flapping wing aerodynamic performance,we measured the kinematic parameters of the wings in two different flight modes(Normal Flight Mode(NFM)and Escape Flight Mode(EFM)).When the specimens switched from normal to escape mode the flapping frequency was invariant,but the stroke plane of the wings was more horizontally inclined.The flapping of both wings was adjusted to be more ventral with a change of the pitching angle that resulted in a larger angle of attack during downstroke and smaller during upstroke to affect the flow directions and the added mass effect.Noticeably,the phasing between the fore and hind pair of wings varies between two flight modes,which affects the wing-wing interaction as well as body oscillations.It is found that the momentum stream in the wake of EFM is qualitatively different from that in NFM.The change of the stroke plane angle and the varied pitching angle of the wings diverts the momentum downwards,while the smaller flapping amplitude and less phase difference between the wings compresses the momentum stream.It seems that in order to achieve greater flight maneuverability a flight vehicle needs to actively control positional angle as well as the pitching angle of the flapping wings.展开更多

文摘[Objectives] The aim was to study the effects of ovarian preservation time on in vitro fertilization of oocytes from slaughtered sheep. [Methods] The collected ovaries were randomly and evenly divided into four groups. They were preserved in physiological saline containing penicillin( 100 IU/ml) and streptomycin( 100 μg/ml) at 15-20 ℃ for 0( Control),6,12 and 18 h,respectively. Then,the oocytes were subjected to in vitro fertilization. [Results]The maturation rates,cleavage rates and blastocyst rates of the oocytes preserved for 6 and 12 h showed no significant differences compared with those of the oocytes preserved for0 h( 72. 03%,70. 87% vs. 73. 68%; 74. 12%,72. 60% vs. 74. 49%; 22. 22%,20. 75% vs. 23. 29%)( P > 0. 05). There were also no significant differences in maturation rate,cleavage rate or blastocyst rate between the oocytes preserved for 18 and 0 h( P > 0. 05). [Conclusions] Within a certain rage( 0-18 h),storage time of ovary at 15-20 ℃ does not affect the continued development of oocytes from slaughtered sheep.

文摘Inorganic NiO_(x) based inverted structure perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is reported to be more stable than that with the organic hole transport materials.In this work,NiO_(x)/MAPbI_(3) interface chemical reaction induced instability of perovskite is unveiled:Ni^(3+) and I^(-) exhibit redox reactions and deprotonation of MA^(+) happens,which result in interface defects and perovskite lattice deformation.Thus the defective interface accelerates the degradation of perovskite by defect pathways from the bottom interface to the perovskite surface contacting H_(2)O/O_(2).Self-assembled interlayer of NH_(2)^(-)end silane on NiO_(x)separates the reactive NiO_(x)and MAPbI_(3),tunes the interface energy states by–NH_(2) end group.As a result,the PSC based on the silane treated NiO_(x)achieves enhanced PCE of 20.1%with decent stability under environmental and extreme conditions (high temperature,high humidity,light infiltration).Our work highlights the interface chemical problem induced PSC instability and a simple interface modification to achieve the stable PSCs.

文摘To better understand dragonflies’remarkable flapping wing aerodynamic performance,we measured the kinematic parameters of the wings in two different flight modes(Normal Flight Mode(NFM)and Escape Flight Mode(EFM)).When the specimens switched from normal to escape mode the flapping frequency was invariant,but the stroke plane of the wings was more horizontally inclined.The flapping of both wings was adjusted to be more ventral with a change of the pitching angle that resulted in a larger angle of attack during downstroke and smaller during upstroke to affect the flow directions and the added mass effect.Noticeably,the phasing between the fore and hind pair of wings varies between two flight modes,which affects the wing-wing interaction as well as body oscillations.It is found that the momentum stream in the wake of EFM is qualitatively different from that in NFM.The change of the stroke plane angle and the varied pitching angle of the wings diverts the momentum downwards,while the smaller flapping amplitude and less phase difference between the wings compresses the momentum stream.It seems that in order to achieve greater flight maneuverability a flight vehicle needs to actively control positional angle as well as the pitching angle of the flapping wings.

文摘Argon addition into the casting channel reduces the amount of clogging on the refractory wall to allow long sequence casting of aluminium-killed steel grades.The key to minimum surface defects on the final product is to establish the optimum quantity by optimising the gas distribution below the stopper nose.This is achieved by new argon stopper technology which supports low gas quantities with homogeneous gas and bubble distributions to float non-metallic inclusions(NMI)in the continuous casting mould.
文摘This paper for the purpose of utilization, conducted a study of technological process of producing animal feed by fermenting seaweed waste. Anaerobic fermentation, which can improve the contents of protein and polysaccharide in seaweed waste, proved to be an available method to improve the nutritional value of animal feed by using seaweed waste. Also effects of different additives and fermentation time on the fermentation products was compared, combined CCRD with neural network to optimize these factors, the predict model among all factors was established, also obtained the optimal fermentation process.
