Chaotic CS Encryption:An Efficient Image Encryption Algorithm Based on Chebyshev Chaotic System and Compressive Sensing

Moreover, how to safely transmit digital imagesthrough public channels has become an urgent problem. In this paper, we propose a novel image encryptionalgorithm, called chaotic compressive sensing (CS) encryption (CCSE), which can not only improve the efficiencyof image transmission but also introduce the high security of the chaotic system. Specifically, the proposed CCSEcan fully leverage the advantages of the Chebyshev chaotic system and CS, enabling it to withstand various attacks,such as differential attacks, and exhibit robustness. First, we use a sparse trans-form to sparse the plaintext imageand then use theArnold transformto perturb the image pixels. After that,we elaborate aChebyshev Toeplitz chaoticsensing matrix for CCSE. By using this Toeplitz matrix, the perturbed image is compressed and sampled to reducethe transmission bandwidth and the amount of data. Finally, a bilateral diffusion operator and a chaotic encryptionoperator are used to perturb and expand the image pixels to change the pixel position and value of the compressedimage, and ultimately obtain an encrypted image. Experimental results show that our method can be resistant tovarious attacks, such as the statistical attack and noise attack, and can outperform its current competitors. 展开更多

Biological yield indicates the potential for increasing yield.Leaf carbon metabolism plays an important role in the biomass accumulation of rapeseed(Brassica napus L.).Field experiments with the hybrid HZ62(with a conventional plant architecture)grown in 2016–2017,and HZ62 and accession 1301(with a compact plant architecture)grown in 2017–2018 were conducted to characterize the physiological and proteomic responses of leaf photosynthetic carbon metabolism to density and row spacing configurations.The densities were set at 15×10;ha^(-1)(D1),30×10^(4)ha^(-1)(D2),and 45×10^(4)ha^(-1)(D3)(main plot),with row spacings of 15 cm(R15),25 cm(R25),and 35 cm(R35)(subplot).Individual and plant population biomass accumulation was greatest at R25,R15,and R15 for D1,D2,and D3,respectively,for both genotypes.In comparison with D1 R25,the individual aboveground biomass of HZ62 decreased by60.2%,whereas the population biomass increased by 31.9%,and the individual biomass of genotype1301 decreased by 54.0%and the population biomass increased by 53.9%at D3 R15.Leaf carbon metabolic enzymes varied between genotypes at flowering stage.In contrast to D1 R25,at D3 R15 the activities of ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase(Rubisco)and sucrose phosphate synthase(SPS)and the contents of starch,sucrose and soluble sugars in leaves were significantly decreased in HZ62 and increased in genotype 1301.The activities of fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase(FBPase)decreased,in consistency with the abundance of fructose-bisphosphate aldolase in HZ62.In contrast,sucrose synthase(Su Sy)activity appeared to decrease in both genotypes,but a significant increase in abundance of a protein with sucrose synthase was found in the 1301 genotype by proteomic analysis.With increased density and reduced row spacing,the expression of most key proteins involved in carbon metabolism was elevated,and enzyme activity and carbon assimilate content were increased in 1301,whereas HZ62 showed the opposite trend,indicating that the compact plant type can accumulate more population biomass with denser planting. 展开更多

A slug flow model considering the dispersed bubbles entrained from the tail of Taylor bubble(TB) and recoalesced with the successive TB was proposed. Experiment was conducted to test the validity of this model by using a high-speed camcorder and particle image velocimetry(PIV). It was found that the model was valid for predicting the characteristics of slug flow in airlift pump within average error of 14%. Moreover, large pipe diameter was found to accelerate the rise velocity of TB and decreases void fraction in liquid slug by a small margin. 展开更多

Online soft measurement for wastewater treatment system based on hybrid deep learning

The existing automated wastewater treatment control systems encounter challenges such as the utilization of specialized testing instruments, equipment repair complications, high operational costs, substantial operational errors, and low detection accuracy. An effective soft measure model offers a viable approach for real-time monitoring and the development of automated control in the wastewater treatment process. Consequently, a novel hybrid deep learning CNN-BNLSTM-Attention (CBNLSMA) model, which incorporates convolutional neural networks (CNN), bidirectional nested long and short-term memory neural networks (BNLSTM), attention mechanisms (AM), and Tree-structure Parzen Estimators (TPE), has been developed for monitoring effluent water quality during the wastewater treatment process. The CBNLSMA model is divided into four stages: the CNN module for feature extraction and data filtering to expedite operations;the BNLSTM module for temporal data’s temporal information extraction;the AM module for model weight reassignment;and the TPE optimization algorithm for the CBNLSMA model’s hyperparameter search optimization. In comparison with other models (TPE-CNN-BNLSTM, TPE-BNLSTM-AM, TPE-CNN-AM, PSO-CBNLSTMA), the CBNLSMA model reduced the RMSE for effluent COD prediction by 25.4%, decreased the MAPE by 32.9%, and enhanced the R2 by 14.9%. For the effluent SS prediction, the CBNLSMA model reduced the RMSE by 26.4%, the MAPE by 21.0%, and improved the R2 by 35.7% compared to other models. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed CBNLSMA model holds significant potential for real-time effluent quality monitoring, indicating its high potential for automated control in wastewater treatment processes. 展开更多

According to statistic data,machinery faults contribute to largest proportion of High-voltage circuit breaker failures,and traditional maintenance methods exist some disadvantages for that issue.Therefore,based on the wavelet packet decomposition approach and support vector machines,a new diagnosis model is proposed for such fault diagnoses in this study.The vibration eigenvalue extraction is analyzed through wavelet packet decomposition,and a four-layer support vector machine is constituted as a fault classifier.The Gaussian radial basis function is employed as the kernel function for the classifier.The penalty parameter c and kernel parameterδof the support vector machine are vital for the diagnostic accuracy,and these parameters must be carefully predetermined.Thus,a particle swarm optimizationsupport vector machine model is developed in which the optimal parameters c andδfor the support vector machine in each layer are determined by the particle swarm algorithm.The validity of this fault diagnosis model is determined with a real dataset from the operation experiment.Moreover,comparative investigations of fault diagnosis experiments with a normal support vector machine and a particle swarm optimization back-propagation neural network are also implemented.The results indicate that the proposed fault diagnosis model yields better accuracy and e-ciency than these other models. 展开更多

Anaerobic process is regarded as a green and sustainable process due to low carbon emission and minimal energy consumption in wastewater treatment plants(WWTPs).However,some water quality metrics are not measurable in real time,thus influencing the judgment of the operators and may increase energy consumption and carbon emission.One of the solutions is using a soft-sensor prediction technique.This article introduces a water quality soft-sensor prediction method based on Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit(BiGRU)combined with Gaussian Progress Regression(GPR)optimized by Tree-structured Parzen Estimator(TPE).TPE automatically optimizes the hyperparameters of BiGRU,and BiGRU is trained to obtain the point prediction with GPR for the interval prediction.Then,a case study applying this prediction method for an actual anaerobic process(2500 m^(3)/d)is carried out.Results show that TPE effectively optimizes the hyperparameters of BiGRU.For point prediction of CODeff and biogas yield,R^(2)values of BiGRU,which are 0.973 and 0.939,respectively,are increased by 1.03%–7.61%and 1.28%–10.33%,compared with those of other models,and the valid prediction interval can be obtained.Besides,the proposed model is assessed as a reliable model for anaerobic process through the probability prediction and reliable evaluation.It is expected to provide high accuracy and reliable water quality prediction to offer basis for operators in WWTPs to control the reactor and minimize carbon emission and energy consumption. 展开更多

Tenants should be separated from each other based on cloud infrastructure and different users from one tenant should be separated from each other with the constraint of security policies. Learning from the notion of trusted cloud computing and trustworthiness in cloud, in this paper, a multi-level authorization separation model is formally described, and a series of rules are proposed to summarize the separation property of this model. The correctness of the rules is proved. Furthermore, based on this model, a tenant separation mechanism is deployed in a real world mixed-critical information system. Performance benchmarks have shown the availability and efficiency of this mechanism. 展开更多

However, therapies usingthese cells will only benefit males but not females. Recently, female germline stem cells (FGSCs) were discovered in ovaries. Whether FGSCs can be converted into pluripotent stem cells, similar to spermatogonial stem cells, is unknown. Here, we demonstrate that female embryonic stem-like cells (fESLCs) can be generated within 1 month from the stably proliferating FGSCs cultured in embryonic stem cell (ESC) medium, fESLCs exhibit properties similar to those of ESCs in terms of marker expression and differentiation potential. Thus, our findings suggest that generation of patient-specific fESLCs is feasible and provides a foundation for personalized regenerative applications. 展开更多

Skyline group, also named as combinational skyline or group-based skyline, has attracted more attention recently. The concept of skyline groups is proposed to address the problem in the inadequacy of the traditional skyline to answer queries that need to analyze not only individual points but also groups of points. Skyline group algorithms aim at finding groups of points that are not dominated by any other same-size groups. Although two types of dominance relationship exist between the groups defined in existing works, they have not been compared systematically under the same experimental framework. Thus, practitioners face difficulty in selecting an appropriate definition. Furthermore, the experimental evaluation in most existing works features a weakness,that is, studies only experimented on small data sets or large data sets with small dimensions. For comprehensive comparisons of the two types of definition and existing algorithms, we evaluate each algorithm in terms of time and space on various synthetic and real data sets. We reveal the characteristics of existing algorithms and provide guidelines on selecting algorithms for different situations. 展开更多

加快生态草牧业建设以提升草原生态承载力、促进草畜动态平衡,是实现农牧场畜牧业增产和牧区可持续发展的重要举措.本文以呼伦贝尔农垦集团24个农牧场为研究区,基于MODIS,Landsat TM/OLI和高分2号等遥感数据和农牧场草牧业年度报表数据... 加快生态草牧业建设以提升草原生态承载力、促进草畜动态平衡,是实现农牧场畜牧业增产和牧区可持续发展的重要举措.本文以呼伦贝尔农垦集团24个农牧场为研究区,基于MODIS,Landsat TM/OLI和高分2号等遥感数据和农牧场草牧业年度报表数据,应用遥感解译和草地净初级生产力遥感估算模型,获取了农垦集团24个农牧场草地分布现状和退化状况,测算了各农牧场草地净初级生产力,评价了草地生态承载力和超载状况,进而提出了农牧场生态草牧业建设的粮经饲配置模式.结果表明:呼伦贝尔农垦集团24个农牧场中草地总面积的66.16%出现不同程度的退化,主要表现为草地植被生产力和盖度下降,由草原开垦等导致草地破碎化面积约占草地总面积的1.55%.遥感估算的呼伦贝尔农垦集团24个农牧场平年产草总量约为34.07万t,欠年(2001年)产草总量为27.43万t,丰年(2013年)产草总量为48.89万t.2015年农垦集团24个农牧场实际载畜量为164.19万个羊单位,理论载畜量为86.83万个羊单位,在不考虑青贮草和外购饲草料的情况下,超载率为89%,饲草缺口42.35万t.农垦集团24个农牧场现有耕地面积为3.95×103 km2,基于生态草牧业建设的理念,将其中10%的耕地开展人工草地种植,理论上相当于5.86×103 km2天然草地的产草量,完全可满足整个农垦集团牲畜饲草料需求.推行"粮、经、饲‘三元结构’、草田轮作"的生产模式,适度利用现有耕地开展粮改饲和种养结合模式,提高草地产量、有助于维护草畜平衡,遏制草地退化趋势,提高草原牧区草牧业可持续发展和生态保护能力. 展开更多

In systematically considering the advantages and disadvantages of complementarity in high or low milk feeding,novel milk feeding schemes involving altering the volume of supplied milk in different stages of the pre-weaning period but maintaining the total milk feeding volume were tested.Twenty-seven newborn male Holstein calves were selected and randomly assigned to 3 treatments.Calves in the control(CON)group were fed 7 L of milk daily from 4 to 66 d of age.Calves in the low-high(LH)group were fed 6 L of milk daily at the beginning,and then the daily feeding volume was later increased to 7 to 8 L of milk,which served as the early-period low-volume feeding group.The calves in the high-low(HL)group were fed 7 to 8 L daily at the beginning,and then the daily feeding volume was decreased to 6 L of milk,which served as the early-period high-volume feeding group.Then all calves were fed 3 L of milk daily from 67 to 70 d of age,weaned at 70 d of age,and then fed starter feed to 100 d of age.All calves had access to the starter feed from 15 to 100 d of age.The diarrheal condition of calves was recorded daily and the growth performance including the starter feed intake and body weight of calves was recorded at 70 and 100 d of age.Then,five 100-d-old calves from each treatment were sampled for measurement of plasma indices,ruminal morphology,and volatile fatty acids.When compared with the CON and LH groups,calves in the HL group exhibited a significantly increased body weight and lower diarrhoeal rate.When compared with the CON group,calves in the HL group exhibited a significantly increased average daily feed intake,ruminal epithelium papillae length,total volatile fatty acids,and percentages of propionate and butyrate.Moreover,the significantly increased plasma immunoglobulin G(IgG)content and a trend of decreased tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)content(P=0.083)were also identified in the HL group when compared with the CON group.Overall,the early-period high-volume feeding for calves produced greater body weight gain and a lower incidence of diarrhea. 展开更多
