Data sharing and privacy securing present extensive opportunities and challenges in vehicular network.This paper introducestrust access authentication scheme’as a mechanism to achieve real-time monitoring and promote collaborative sharing for vehicles.Blockchain,which can provide secure authentication and protected privacy,is a crucial technology.However,traditional cloud computing performs poorly in supplying low-latency and fast-response services for moving vehicles.In this situation,edge computing enabled Blockchain network appeals to be a promising method,where moving vehicles can access storage or computing resource and get authenticated from Blockchain edge nodes directly.In this paper,a hierarchical architecture is proposed consist of vehicular network layer,Blockchain edge layer and Blockchain network layer.Through a authentication mechanism adopting digital signature algorithm,it achieves trusted authentication and ensures valid verification.Moreover,a caching scheme based on many-to-many matching is proposed to minimize average delivery delay of vehicles.Simulation results prove that the proposed caching scheme has a better performance than existing schemes based on central-ized model or edge caching strategy in terms of hit ratio and average delay. 展开更多

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of balloon occlusion of the abdominal aorta for the treatment of pernicious placenta previa with placenta accreta.Methods:The clinical data of 623 patients with pernicious placenta previa combined with placenta accrete,who were admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to January 2019 were retrospectively analyzed.All patients underwent abdominal aortic balloon occlusion combined with cesarean section,and 78 patients underwent sequential bilateral uterine artery embolization.We analyzed the operation time,intraoperative blood loss,blood transfusion volume,intraoperative and postoperative complications,fetal radiation exposure time and dose,and the Apgar score of the newborns.We also performed other evaluations to ascertain the efficacy and safety of abdominal aortic balloon occlusion treatment for dangerous placenta previa with placenta accrete.Results:Of the 623 patients,545 underwent only abdominal aortic balloon occlusion,and 78 underwent uterine artery embolization due to intraoperative or postoperative bleeding.The uterus was successfully preserved in all patients.Except for five cases of right lower extremity arterial thrombosis,the remaining patients did not have postoperative lower extremity arteriovenous thrombosis,renal insufficiency,late postpartum hemorrhage,ectopic embolism,spinal cord or peripheral nerve damage,pelvic infection,or other serious complications.The mean operative time was 65.3(±14.5)min.The mean intraoperative blood loss was620(±570)ml.Ninety-six patients(15.4%,96/623)were treated with blood transfusion,and the average amount of blood transfused was 750(±400)ml.The average number of hospitalization days was 6.8(±3.4)days,the average time of fetal ray exposure was 5.2(±1.6)s,and the average radiation dose was 4.1(±2.7)m Gy.The neonatal Apgar score,was 8.4(±0.6)points at 1 min,and 9.6(±0.4)points at 5 min.In the follow-up to May 31,2019,29 patients were lost to follow-up,96 were lactating,and 498 were menstruating.Except for the cases lost to follow-up,the remaining 596 surviving newborns(including 2 twins)showed no abnormalities at the 42-day postnatal outpatient follow-up examination.Conclusion:Balloon occlusion of the abdominal aorta is a safe and effective method for the treatment of pernicious placenta previa with placenta accreta. 展开更多

Background:Inconsistent results have been reported in developed countries for relationships between sedentary behavior and cancer incidence and mortality,and evidence from the Chinese population is scarce.This study aimed to investigate such relationships in large Chinese population-based prospective cohorts and to explore the joint effect and interaction of sedentary behavior and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity(MVPA)on these relationships.Methods:We included 95,319 Chinese adults without cancer from 3 large cohorts and assessed their sedentary behavior and physical activity with a unified questionnaire.Cancer incidence and mortality were confirmed by interviewing participants or their proxies and checking hospital records and death certificates.Hazard ratios(HRs)and 95%confidence intervals(95%CIs)for cancer and mortality were estimated using Cox proportional hazards regression models.Results:During 559,002 person-years of follow-up,2388 cancer events,1571 cancer deaths,and 4562 all-cause deaths were recorded.Sedentary behavior was associated with increased risk of developing cancer and deaths in a doseresponse manner.The multivariable-adjusted HRs(95%CIs)were the following:HR=1.16,95%CI:1.01-1.33;HR=1.24,95%CI:1.04-1.48;and HR=1.15,95%CI:1.04-1.28 for cancer incidence,cancer mortality,and all-cause mortality,respectively,for those having≥10 h/day of sedentary time compared with those having<6 h/day of sedentary time.Sedentary populations(≥10 h/day)developed cancer or died 4.09 years and 2.79 years earlier,respectively,at the index age of 50 years.Failure to achieve the recommended level of MVPA may further aggravate the adverse associations,with the highest cancer and mortality risks being observed among participants with both≥10 h/day of sedentary time and<150 min/week of MVPA.Limitations of this study include the fact that physical activity information was obtained via questionnaire instead of objective measurement and that there were insufficient incident cases for the analysis of associations between sedentary behavior and site-specific cancers.Conclusion:Sedentary behavior was associated with an increased risk of cancer and all-cause mortality among Chinese adults,especially for those with≥10 h/day of sedentary time.It is necessary to reduce sedentary time,in addition to increasing MVPA levels,for the prevention of cancer and premature death. 展开更多

A novel two-stroke boosted uniflow scavenged direct-injection gasoline (BUSDIG) engine has been proposed and designed in order to achieve aggressive engine downsizing and down-speeding for higher engine performance and efficiency. In this paper, the design and development of the BUSDIG engine are outlined discussed and the key findings are summarized to highlight the progress of the development of the proposed two-stroke BUSDIG engine. In order to maximize the scavenging performance and produce sufficient in-cylinder flow motions for the fuel/air mixing process in the two-stroke BUSDIG engine, the engine bore/stroke ratio, intake scavenge port angles, and intake plenum design were optimized by three-dimensional (3D) computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. The effects of the opening profiles of the scavenge ports and exhaust valves on controlling the scavenging process were also investigated. In order to achieve optimal in-cylinder fuel stratification, the mixture-formation processes by different injection strategies were studied by using CFD simulations with a calibrated Reitz–Diwakar breakup model. Based on the optimal design of the BUSDIG engine, one-dimensional (1D) engine simulations were performed in Ricardo WAVE. The results showed that a maximum brake thermal efficiency of 47.2% can be achieved for the two-stroke BUSDIG engine with lean combustion and water injection. A peak brake toque of 379 N·m and a peak brake power density of 112 kW·L^-1 were achieved at 1600 and 4000 r·min^-1, respectively, in the BUSDIG engine with the stoichiometric condition. 展开更多

Multi-tag collision imposes a vital detrimental effect on reading performanceof an RFID system. In order to ameliorate such collision problem and to improve thereading performance, this paper proposes an efficient tag identification algorithm termedas the Enhanced Adaptive Tree Slotted Aloha (EATSA). The key novelty of EATSA is toidentify the tags using grouping strategy. Specifically, the whole tag set is divided intogroups by a frame of size F. In cases multiple tags fall into a group, the tags of the groupare recognized by the improved binary splitting (IBS) method whereas the rest tags arewaiting in the pipeline. In addition, an early observation mechanism is introduced toupdate the frame size to an optimum value fitting the number of tags. Theoretical analysisand simulation results show that the system throughput of our proposed algorithm canreach as much as 0.46, outperforming the prior Aloha-based protocols. 展开更多

Objective: This study was designed to explore whether inhibition of the extracellular-regulated kinase (ERK) and phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase (PI3K) signaling pathways can inhibit the growth of xenografts of endometrial cancer cell lines with different estrogen receptors (ER) profiles in vivo and to provide preliminary laboratory basis for the probability of endometrial adenocarcinoma treatment with blockage of the two pathways, especially to endometrial cancer with low ER status. Methods: Human endometrial cancer Ishikawa bearing ER and HEC-1Awith low ER status cells were subcutaneously injected into BALB/c nude mice to establish endometrial cancer xenograft tumor models. The effects of PI3K/Akt inhibitor LY294002, MAPK/ERK1/2 inhibitor PD-98059 and their combinations on the growth of the xenograft tumors and apoptotic state of Ishikawa and HEC-1Acells were tested in vivo using the inhibitory rate, the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated nick-end labeling assay, H/E-stain. Western blot analysis was used to detect the alterations of activated ERK (P-ERK) and AKT (P-AKT) during this process. Results: LY294002, a PI3K/Akt pathway inhibitor, induced significant suppression in the growth of both Ishikawa and HEC-1Acell xenograft tumors, concomitant with increased apoptosis in xenografts as evidenced by TUNEL. A similar effect was also observed when the MAPK/ERK1/2 signaling pathway was inhibited by PD98059. Concurrent inhibition of the PI3K/Akt and MAPK/ERK1/2 pathways showed enhanced anti-tumor effects in vivo as indicated by increased apoptosis. At the same time, the levels of P-ERK and P-AKT in both xenograft tumors decreased, and their levels in combination group was the lowest. Conclusions: PD98059, LY294002 and their combinations showed remarkable inhibitory effects on xenograft tumors of endometrial carcinoma cell lines with different expression status of ER in vivo through blockage of PI3K/Akt and MAPK/ERK1/2 signaling pathways. This suggests that targeting these pathways may be an effective therapeutic strategy against endometrial carcinomas, especially for ER-negative cancers which show poor response to endocrinal therapy. 展开更多

Macrophage colony-stimulating factor (CSF-1/M-CSF) is a key factor for the differentiation, growth and survival of monocytes/macrophages and osteoclasts. The functions of M-CSF have been well characterized in mammals. In this study, we have cloned and sequenced the cDNA of M-CSF2 in grass carp. The grass carp M-CSF2 cDNA was 1487 bp in length, containing an open reading frame of 855 bp that encodes 284 amino acids. The deduced protein of grass carp M-CSF2 possessed same domains similar to its mammalian counterparts. Multiple alignments and phylogenetic tree indicate that the grass carp M-CSF2 exhibits close evolutionary relationship with its counterparts in other teleosts. Lastly, the tissue distribution results also showed that the grass carp M-CSF2 transcript was dominantly expressed in head kidney, kidney and spleen in vivo. 展开更多

Interleukin-10 (IL-10) is an important cytokine that plays a pivotal role in natural and adaptive immune systems. However, in lower vertebrates, especially in teleost the receptor of this cytokine is still largely unknown. This paper described the cloning and characterization of grass carp interleukin-10 receptor 1 (gcIL10R1) and the 3D structure of its extracellular domain was predicted. The gcIL10R1 cDNA included 180 bp5’ untranslated region (UTR), 870 bp3’ UTR and an open reading frame (ORF) of 1632 bp. The ORF was found to encode a 543 amino acid protein with a putative JAK1 binding site, one STAT3 binding site. The phylogenetic analysis clusters gcIL10R1 with other teleost IL10R1s but independently of the amphibian, avian and mammalian IL10R1s. The 3D structure of its extracellular domain was the first homology model of a fish IL10R1 that revealed a high similarity with its mammalian and avian counterparts. 展开更多

To prevent possible accidents,the study of data-driven analytics to predict hidden dangers in cloud service-based intelligent industrial production management has been the subject of increasing interest recently.A machine learning algorithm that uses timeliness managing extreme learning machine is utilized in this article to achieve the above prediction.Compared with traditional learning algorithms,extreme learning machine(ELM) exhibits high performance because of its unique feature of a high generalization capability at a fast learning speed.Timeliness managing ELM is proposed by incorporating timeliness management scheme into ELM.When using the timeliness managing ELM scheme to predict hidden dangers,newly incremental data could be added prior to the historical data to maximize the contribution of the newly incremental training data,because the incremental data may be able to contribute reasonable weights to represent the current production situation according to practical analysis of accidents in some industrial productions.Experimental results from a coal mine show that the use of timeliness managing ELM can improve the prediction accuracy of hidden dangers with better stability compared with other similar machine learning methods. 展开更多

Electrocatalytic nitrate reduction reaction(e-NO_(3)RR)offers a promising alternative method for nitrogen cycling and ammonia(NH3)production under ambient conditions.However,the method is still in the dilemma of lowering the reaction overpotential and increasing the reaction activity.We successfully developed the composition-adjustable Co_(6)Mo_(6)C/Co/N-doped carbon(NC)catalysts by in situ carbonization of Co-based metal-organic framework(MOF)with the constrained phosphomolybdic acid.After adjusting the ratio of Co0 and Co_(6)Mo_(6)C,Co_(6)Mo_(6)C/Co/NC-3 could satisfy both NO_(3)−conversion at low potential and NH_(x)hydrogenation,and synthesize ammonia efficiently through the synergistic effect of Co0 and Co_(6)Mo_(6)C.It achieved an ammonia yield rate as 1233.2μg·h^(−1)·mgcat^(−1)and Faradaic efficiency of NH4+93.6%at−0.33 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE).Importantly,density functional theory(DFT)calculations and experimental results have demonstrated for the first time the excellent adsorption of nitrite(NO_(2)^(−))by the Mo sites of Co_(6)Mo_(6)C during e-NO_(3)RR,avoiding the undesirable accumulation of NO_(2)^(−). 展开更多

The selective regulation of immune responses by matrix metalloproteinase MMP14 in Ostrinia furnacalis

Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are crucial for tissue remodeling and immune responses in insects, yet it remains unclear how MMPs affect the various immune processes against pathogenic infections and whether the responses vary among insects. In this study, we used the lepidopteran pest Ostrinia furnacalis larvae to address these questions by examining the changes of immune-related gene expression and antimicrobial activity after the knockdown of MMP14 and bacterial infections. We identified MMP14 in O. furnacalis using the rapid amplification of complementary DNA ends (RACE), and found that it was conserved and belonged to the MMP1 subfamily. Our functional investigations revealed that MMP14 is an infection-responsive gene, and its knockdown reduces phenoloxidase (PO) activity and Cecropin expression, while the expressions of Lysozyme, Attacin, Gloverin, and Moricin are enhanced after MMP14 knockdown. Further PO and lysozyme activity determinations showed consistent results with gene expression of these immune-related genes. Finally, the knockdown of MMP14 decreased larvae survival to bacterial infections. Taken together, our data indicate that MMP14 selectively regulates the immune responses, and is required to defend against bacterial infections in O. furnacalis larvae. Conserved MMPs may serve as a potential target for pest control using a combination of double-stranded RNA and bacterial infection. 展开更多

High-pressure direct-injection (HPDI) of natu- ral gas is one of the most promising solutions for future ship engines, in which the combustion process is mainly controlled by the chemical kinetics. However, the employment of detailed chemical models for the multi-dimensional combustion simulation is significantly expensive due to the large scale of the marine engine. In the present paper, a reduced n-heptane/methane model consisting of 35-step reactions was constructed using multiple reduction approaches. Then this model was further reduced to include only 27 reactions by utilizing the HyChem (Hybrid Chemistry) method. An overall good agreement with the experimentally measured ignition delay data of both n-heptane and methane for these two reduced models was achieved and reasonable predictions for the measured laminar flame speeds were obtained for the 35-step model. But the 27-step model cannot predict the laminar flame speed very well. In addition, these two reduced models were both able to reproduce the experimentally measured in-cylinder pressure and heat release rate profiles for a HPDI natural gas marine engine, the highest error of predicted combustion phase being 6.5%. However, the engine-out CO emission was over-predicted and the highest error of predicted NOx emission was less than 12.9%. The predicted distributions of temperature and equivalence ratio by the 35-step and 27-step models are similar to those of the 334-step model. However, the predicted distributions of OH and CH2O are significantly different from those of the 334-step model. In short, the reduced chemical kinetic models developed provide a high-efficient and dependable method to simulate the characteristics of combustion and emissions in HPDI natural gas marine engines. 展开更多
