Effect of remimazolam vs. propofol on hemodynamics during general anesthesia induction in elderly patients: Single-center, randomized controlled trial

The current study aimed to compare the effects between remimazolam and propofol on hemodynamic stability during the induction of general anesthesia in elderly patients.We used propofol at a rate of 60 mg/(kg·h)in the propofol group(group P)or remimazolam at a rate of 6 mg/(kg·h)in the remimazolam group(group R)for the induction.A processed electroencephalogram was used to determine whether the induction was successful and when to stop the infusion of the study drug.We measured when patients entered the operating room(T_(0)),when the induction was successful(T_(1)),and when before(T_(2))and 5 min after successful endotracheal intubation(T_(3)).We found that mean arterial pressure(MAP)was lower at T_(1–3),compared with T_(0) in both groups,but higher at T_(2) in the group R,whileΔMAP_(T0–T2) andΔMAP_(max) were smaller in the group R(ΔMAP_(T0–T2):the difference between MAP at time point T_(0) and T_(2),ΔMAP_(max):the difference between MAP at time point T_(0) and the lowest value from T_(0) to T_(3)).Cardiac index and stroke volume index did not differ between groups,whereas systemic vascular resistance index was higher at T_(1–3) in the group R.These findings show that remimazolam,compared with propofol,better maintains hemodynamic stability during the induction,which may be attributed to its ability to better maintain systemic vascular resistance levels. 展开更多

Magnetic and electronic properties of La-doped hexagonal 4H-SrMnO_(3)

As typical strongly correlated electronic materials, manganites show rich magnetic phase diagrams and electronic structures depending on the doped carrier density. Most previous relevant studies of doped manganites rely on the cubic/orthorhombic structures, while the hexagonal structure is much less studied. Here first-principles calculations are employed to investigate the magnetic and electronic structures of La-doped 4H-SrMnO_(3). By systematically analyzing the two kinds of La-doped positions, our calculations predict that the doped electron with lattice distortion would prefer to form polarons, which contribute to the local magnetic phase transition, nonzero net magnetization, and semiconducting behavior. In addition, the energy gap decreases gradually with increasing doping concentration, indicating a tendency of insulator–metal transition. 展开更多

Low-level laser therapy(LLLT) may have an effect on the pain associated with orthodontic treatment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of LLLT on pain and somatosensory sensitization induced by orthodontic treatment. Forty individuals(12–33 years old; mean ± standard deviations: 20.8 ± 5.9 years) scheduled to receive orthodontic treatment were randomly divided into a laser group(LG) or a placebo group(PG)(1:1). The LG received LLLT(810-nm gallium-aluminium-arsenic diode laser in continuous mode with the power set at 400 mW, 2 J·cm–2) at 0 h, 2 h, 24 h, 4 d, and 7 d after treatment, and the PG received inactive treatment at the same time points. In both groups, the non-treated side served as a control. A numerical rating scale(NRS) of pain, pressure pain thresholds(PPTs), cold detection thresholds(CDTs), warmth detection thresholds(WDTs), cold pain thresholds(CPTs), and heat pain thresholds(HPTs) were tested on both sides at the gingiva and canine tooth and on the hand. The data were analysed by a repeated measures analysis of variance(ANOVA). The NRS pain scores were significantly lower in the LG group(P = 0.01). The CDTs,CPTs, WDTs, HPTs, and PPTs at the gingiva and the PPTs at the canine tooth were significantly less sensitive on the treatment side of the LG compared with that of the PG(P < 0.033). The parameters tested also showed significantly less sensitivity on the nontreatment side of the LG compared to that of the PG(P < 0.043). There were no differences between the groups for any quantitative sensory testing(QST) measures of the hand. The application of LLLT appears to reduce the pain and sensitivity of the tooth and gingiva associated with orthodontic treatment and may have contralateral effects within the trigeminal system but no generalized QST effects. Thus, the present study indicated a significant analgesia effect of LLLT application during orthodontic treatment.Further clinical applications are suggested. 展开更多

The development of artificial intelligence technology has promoted the rapid improvement of human-computer interaction. This system uses the Kinect visual image sensor to identify human bone data and complete the recognition of the operator’s movements. Through the filtering process of real-time data by the host computer platform with computer software as the core, the algorithm is programmed to realize the conversion from data to control signals. The system transmits the signal to the lower computer platform with Arduino as the core through the transmission mode of the serial communication, thereby completing the control of the steering gear. In order to verify the feasibility of the theory, the team built a 4-DOF robotic arm control system and completed software development. It can display other functions such as the current bone angle and motion status in real time on the computer operation interface. The experimental data shows that the Kinect-based motion recognition method can effectively complete the tracking of the expected motion and complete the grasping and transfer of the specified objects, which has extremely high operability. 展开更多

A questionnaire survey was carried out in aspects of satisfaction of teaching and scientific research, professional quality, work saturation and teacher’s job satisfaction. The research results shows that the professional quality of teachers of common required courses cannot significantly influence the satisfaction of teaching and scientific research;Job saturation can positively influence teaching and research satisfaction;teaching and research satisfaction can positively influence teachers’ job satisfaction. 展开更多

The index with the highest degree of correlation between female students and teaching assessment was the index related to the physical core competence exercise, while the indexes with the highest degree of correlation between male students and teaching assessment were the indexes related to the maintenance of strong and healthy body shape and physical core competence. Thus, in the physical education course setting of higher vocational colleges and in the process of the integrated development between their teaching and students’ physical health, their teaching mode should aim at students’ exercise needs and promoting the quality improvement of their physical education teaching. 展开更多

高技术产业和商品贸易是一个国家或地区科技创新实力的直接体现。本文利用联合国商品贸易数据,选取2003、2008、2013和2018年四个年份构建全球高技术产品贸易网络,分析总结高技术产品国际贸易发展情况、网络结构特征及发展演化趋势。文... 高技术产业和商品贸易是一个国家或地区科技创新实力的直接体现。本文利用联合国商品贸易数据,选取2003、2008、2013和2018年四个年份构建全球高技术产品贸易网络,分析总结高技术产品国际贸易发展情况、网络结构特征及发展演化趋势。文章基于贸易引力模型、技术差距理论和多维邻近性关系分析视角,采用QAP回归分析方法,实证研究了经济、技术、文化、地理和制度等因素对高技术产品贸易的影响。研究发现(:1)全球高技术产品贸易量不断增加,网络规模不断扩大,贸易联系日趋紧密。(2)贸易网络出现中心极化现象,形成以中国为中心的东亚和东南亚、以美国为中心的北美和以德国为中心的欧洲“三团聚核”的网络结构,呈现跨洲大国贸易和地区邻近贸易的双重特点,以及“轴辐式骨干网络”和“放射状区域网络”双网叠加并存的发展态势。(3)两国/地区技术差距、经济差距对商品贸易起正向促进作用,地理距离、语言差异和制度差异对商品贸易有抑制作用,但抑制作用呈减弱趋势。本文的贡献在于探讨了全球高技术产品贸易网络特征及其演化趋势,并从动态演化和关系视角探讨了商品贸易的影响因素,对我国高技术产业发展和商品贸易有一定的政策启示。 展开更多

With the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence and computer vision technology,thefield of visual-based human pose detection has emerged as a highly sought-after research area in recent years.The identification of human poses has practical applications in diverse domains,ranging from motion-sensing games for human-computer interaction to activity prediction and medical rehabil-itation.The present study is focused on the utilization of human pose detection forfitness movement counting.The ultimate aim of the system design is to accurately detect the skeletal key points of each body part in the image and subsequently con-nect them to form a human pose skeleton,which serves as a vital representation of the characteristics of human motion,particularly in the context of video data,where multiple human poses can be linked to form a certain movement trajectory.By judging the trajectory and angle changes,the system can determine whether people’sfitness movements are correct and help them improve theirfitness effec-tiveness.Hence,an increasing number of researchers are investing time and effort in thisfield.One common approach for human pose detection is OpenPose,but this model has a large and complex structure and low detection accuracy.Therefore,thisfitness movement detection and counting system uses a lightweight MediaPipe model and improves it to enhance the algorithm’s accuracy and recognition speed.The specific work in this paper includes three main points:(1)a suitable network structure to detect human skeletal points;(2)the appropriate skeletal structure forfitness movements through experiments to obtain accurate results;and(3)a Qt interface for human-computer interaction. 展开更多

The city airport serves as a fundamental infrastructure for air trans-portation,with its development planning largely contingent upon the prognosti-cation of future airport activities’busyness.Given the multifarious factors that influence passengerflow,such as population size,economic structure,industrial policy,geographical location,and comprehensive transportation,grey system has the characteristic of incomplete information,and the passenger traffic at the airport conforms to this feature.In this article,the GM(1,1)grey prediction model and the GM(2,1)grey prediction model are respectively applied to predict the passengerflow of Sanya Airport,and the suitability of each model is compared.The out-comes show that the GM(2,1)grey model outperforms the GM(1,1)grey model in relation to the average relative error rate,the single point maximum error,the mean square error of relative error,and the average relative accuracy. 展开更多

本文提出一种基于平均互信息的最优社区发现方法 AMI (average mutual information),该方法通过计算社区划分时的平均互信息值找出最优的社区划分.将AMI方法作用在非重叠社区发现算法GN和重叠社区发现算法COPRA上分别获得改进的AMI-GN... 本文提出一种基于平均互信息的最优社区发现方法 AMI (average mutual information),该方法通过计算社区划分时的平均互信息值找出最优的社区划分.将AMI方法作用在非重叠社区发现算法GN和重叠社区发现算法COPRA上分别获得改进的AMI-GN算法和AMI-COPRA算法.将AMI-GN算法与GN, FN, IE算法进行对比实验,实验结果表明AMI-GN算法相较于其他算法提高了社区发现的质量.将AMI-COPRA算法与COPRA, LPPB算法进行对比实验,实验结果表明AMI-COPRA算法大幅度提升原始COPRA算法的稳定性,大大减少了平均迭代次数,加快了算法的收敛速度.相较于LPPB算法,发现社区的质量相差不大,但AMI-COPRA算法比LPPB算法更加稳定.研究表明,运用AMI方法可有效地改进典型的非重叠社区发现算法和重叠社区发现算法的性能. 展开更多

A porous polymeric ligand(PPL)has been synthesized and complexed with copper to generate a heterogeneous catalyst(Cu@PPL)that has facilitated the efficient C-N coupling with various(hetero)aryl chlorides under mild conditions of visiblelight irradiation at 80°C(58 examples,up to 99%yields).This method could be applied to both aqueous ammonia and substituted amines,and is compatible to a variety of functional groups and heterocycles,as well as allows tandem C-N couplings with conjunctive dihalides.Furthermore,the heterogeneous characteristic of Cu@PPL has enabled a straightforward catalyst separation in multiple times of recycling with negligible catalytic efficiency loss by simple filtration,affording reaction mixtures containing less than 1 ppm of Cu residue. 展开更多
