In this paper, based on the calculation results of He generation rate and the geochemical characteristics of the produced gas, both the similarities and differences between natural gas and He resources in the Bohai Bay, Ordos and the surrounding Songliao Basin are compared and analyzed, discussing the main controlling factors of helium resources in the three main petroliferous basins of the North China Craton. It is found that the three basins of Bohai Bay, Ordos and Songliao have similar characteristics of source rocks, reservoirs and cap rocks, that's why their methane resource characteristics are essentially the same. The calculated ~4He generation per cubic metamorphic crystalline basement in the three basins is roughly equivalent, which is consistent with the measured He resources, and it is believed that the ~4He of radiogenic from the crust is the main factor controlling the overall He accumulation in the three basins;there is almost no contribution of the mantle-derived CH_4, which suggests that the transport and uplift of mantle-derived ~3He carried by the present-day magmatic activities along the deep-large faults is not the main reason for the mantle-derived ~3He mixing in the basins. Combined with the results of regional volcanic and geophysical studies,it is concluded that under the background of the destruction of North China Craton, magma intrusion carried a large amount of mantle-derived material and formed basic volcanic rocks in the Bohai Bay Basin and Songliao Basin, which replenished mantle-derived ~3He for the interior of the basins, and that strong seismic activities in and around the basins also promoted the upward migration of mantle source ~3He. With polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as a hydrophilic polymer matrix and ketoprofen (KET) as a model drug, polymer-drug composites in the form of nanoparticles were prepared and characterized. The surface morphologies, the physical status of the drug, and the drug-polymer interactions were studied using FESEM, DSC, XRD, and ATR-FTIR. FESEM observations demonstrated that the nanoparticles gradually decreased in size from 640 ± 350, to 530 ± 320, 460 ± 200 and 320 ± 160 nm as the KET content increased from 0, to 9.1%, 16.7% and 33.3% w/w, respectively. Results from DSC and XRD suggested that KET was distributed in the PVP matrix in an amorphous manner at the molecular level. This is thought to be due to their compatibility, arising through hydrogen bonding as demonstrated by ATR- FTIR spectra. In vitro dissolution tests showed that the nanoparticles released the incorporated KET within 1 min, evidencing markedly improved dissolution over pure KET and a KET-PVP physical mixture. Electrospraying can hence offer a facile route to develop new polymer composites for biomedical applications, in particular for improving dissolution rate of poorly water-soluble drugs.展开更多

Methods: A retrospective experimental design was employed, 112 cases (52 non-fracture and 60 traumatic fracture) were randomly selected. The type of fracture complies with WHO-recommended (2019) diagnostic criteria for osteoporosis combined with fracture. The blood pressure (BP) was measured by OMRON’s HEM-7136 model electronic blood pressure monitor. Blood calcium (Ca2+), and blood phosphorus (P) values were measured using Colorimetric Roche kits on a Roche/Hitachi fully automated biochemical analyzer. Data collection and analysis followed. Results: Higher levels of age, systolic and diastolic blood pressures were found in the traumatic fracture group compared to the control group, whereas weight, height, and blood phosphorus did not differ significantly (P adjusting for age, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and blood phosphorus, binary logistic regression analysis revealed that blood calcium was a protective factor against traumatic fracture (β = -26.85, OR = 0.00, 95% CI = 0.00 -0.02, P = 0.022). Conclusion: The findings suggest that high and low blood calcium levels may serve as useful indicators in predicting the prognosis of fractures resulting from trauma.展开更多

Light exposure affects both sleep timing and circadian rhythm. Now humans can extend lighting time by turning on artificial lights and wake up time is usually triggered by alarm clocks to meet social schedules. This modern lifestyle is believed to be related with a temporal mismatch between sleep and circadian rhythmicity(social jet-lag) and insufficient sleep, which lead to ill mental and physical health outcomes. At present, the impacts of self-selection of light exposure and social constrains on sleep timing is far from clear. According to preferred sleep-wake schedule, there are three different chronotypes. In this paper, we apply a mathematical model to get a quantitative comparison of sleep timing of people with different chronotypes with the effects of modern light consumption and social constrains. The results show that the prolonged day light and evening light exposure both delay preferred sleep timing with the sleep duration almost unchanged. People of evening-type or with longer intrinsic periods are most expected to be vulnerable to evening light. Increasing light exposure can offset the effect of evening light to some extent, but it is most difficult for evening-type people. Social constrains cause the largest social jet-lag in people of evening-type, which increases with evening light intensity or intrinsic periods. Morning-type people's sleep symptoms worsens, while that of evening-type people improves with age. This study provides a theoretical reference for preventing and treating sleep disorder and social jet-lag for individuals with different chronotypes.展开更多

However, the extent to which improving unhealthy lifestyles reduces cardiovascular disease(CVD) risk needs to be discussed. We evaluated the impact of lifestyle improvement on CVD incidence using data from the China-PAR project(Prediction for Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease Risk in China).METHODS A total of 12,588 participants free of CVD were followed up for three visits after the baseline examination. Changes in four lifestyle factors(LFs)(smoking, diet, physical activity, and alcohol consumption) were assessed through questionnaires from the baseline to the first follow-up visit. Cox proportional hazard models were used to estimate hazard ratios(HRs) and corresponding 95% confidence intervals(CIs). The risk advancement periods(RAPs: the age difference between exposed and unexposed participants reaching the same incident CVD risk) and population-attributable risk percentage(PAR%) were also calculated.RESULTS A total of 909 incident CVD cases occurred over a median follow-up of 11.14 years. Compared with maintaining 0-1healthy LFs, maintaining 3–4 healthy LFs was associated with a 40% risk reduction of incident CVD(HR = 0.60, 95% CI: 0.45–0.79)and delayed CVD risk by 6.31 years(RAP:-6.31 [-9.92,-2.70] years). The PAR% of maintaining 3–4 unhealthy LFs was 22.0%compared to maintaining 0-1 unhealthy LFs. Besides, compared with maintaining two healthy LFs, improving healthy LFs from 2to 3–4 was associated with a 23% lower risk of CVD(HR = 0.77, 95% CI: 0.60–0.98).CONCLUSIONS Long-term sustenance of healthy lifestyles or improving unhealthy lifestyles can reduce and delay CVD risk.展开更多

Conclusion: The findings suggest that high and low blood calcium levels may serve as useful indicators in predicting the prognosis of fractures resulting from trauma.

文摘The Liaoning Hongyan River Nuclear Power Plant is located on the east coast of Liaodong Bay in the Bohai Sea,China, and the safety of the cooling water is often threatened by large-scale jellyfish outbreaks. Thus, monitoring jellyfish growth, migration, and disappearance is essential to the safety of the nuclear power plant. In this study,high-throughput sequencing was used to analyze the community characteristics of mesoplankton in the sea area at the inlet and outlet from April to September 2019.At the same time, the micro-individuals of jellyfish(including oosperm, planula, polyps,or ephyra of jellyfish)in the water were detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR(qPCR).Both the maximum abundance of Aurelia coerulea and Nemopilema nomurai in July were detected by high-throughput sequencing and q PCR.Only three common taxa of plankton(Paracalanus,Calanoida, and Poaceae)were found in the waters near the inlet and outlet, and the beta diversity of plankton in the waters near the inlet and outlet was low in the same period.Based on the plankton community composition in the sea water near the inlet,it could be speculated that jellyfish outbreaks would have a significant impact on the plankton via the predation effect. The maximum mt-16S rDNA copy numbers of A.coerulea and N.nomurai in the samples from the waters of Liaodong Bay were detected in June 2019,and that of N.nomurai showed an increasing trend from north to south, with the jellyfish tending to move to the seawaters near the plant. The results indicate that the optimum monitoring period for jellyfish outbreaks in Liaodong Bay is from the end of May to the end of July.

文摘Acyl-CoA-binding proteins(ACBPs)are important for the transport of acyl groups for macro molecular biosynthesis involved in plant growth, development, and diverse stress(e.g.,cold,drought,salinity,and heavy metals)responses. Here,we report the phylogeny and characteristics of the ACBP family in the woody plant Populus trichocarpa.Eight genes encoding ACBP proteins were identified, and they are distributed on eight chromosomes in P.trichocarpa.These PtACBP genes were divided into four subgroups according to gene structure, conserved motifs and phylogenetic relationship.Promoter analysis revealed that cis-elements were related to stress response, phytohormone response, and physical and reproductive growth regulation.Expression levels of PtACBP genes varied among different organs, with the highest expression in leaves and the lowest in stems.Quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)analysis showed that under salinity-alkali stresses(i.e.,200 mM NaCl,75 mM Na2CO3,and 100 mM NaHCO3),four(PtACBP1,PtACBP3,PtACBP4 and PtACBP8)of eight PtACBP genes were significantly induced in roots and leaves. These data provide a comprehensive analysis of the ACBPs family in P.trichocarpa, which could be useful for gene function analyses.

文摘Cable-driven ankle–foot exoskeletons have attracted numerous researchers over the previous decade. The assistive forces of most exoskeletons pulled the back bottom of the shoes, across talocrural and subtalar joints. The talocrural joint is inherently mediolateral unstable at the plantarflexion position due to its sliding mortise structure, while the subtalar joint allows inversion/eversion.In this paper,a biologically inspired cross-type double-cable-driven ankle–foot exotendon was proposed to assist not only the plantarflexion moment but also the movement stability. The novel structure was bio-inspired by the behind-calf anatomically symmetric layout and under-foot cross-configuration of the ankle–foot muscles. To examine the combined functions,we conducted a forward pelvis perturbed standing experiment on five subjects without and with exotendon assistance and recorded the biomechanical data.Compared to the unpowered condition, the biological ankle plantarflexion moment was reduced by 39 with 0.1 Nm/kg exotendon assistance for one leg.Besides, the forward margin of stability was increased by 17 during the late perturbation period, which indicated the improvement of balance in the sagittal plane. In addition, the standard deviation of the lateral CoP and three-dimensional marker trajectories for the ankle condylar and heel all descended, which provided evidence for ankle–foot stability improvement. The results suggested that the proposed biological exotendon can provide the compound ankle–foot assistance, reducing plantarflexion moment and improving movement stability.

文摘Recently, magnesium(Mg)alloys have attracted extensive attention as biodegradable implant materials. However, cyclic loading and the corrosive environment of the body are significant challenges for the practical use of alloys, and there are few studies on this topic. In this study,we conducted a four-point bending fatigue test for 86,400 cycles(12 h)in simulated body fluid(SBF),plasma, and whole blood with an AZ series alloy Mg-9Al-0.5Zn-0.27Mn-0.12Ag,to examine the effects of inorganic ions, organic particles, blood cells, and cyclic loading on Mg alloy corrosion. The Mg^(2+)concentration and solution pH were measured before and after experimentation, and the sample surfaces were characterized by 3D digital microscopy, scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS),Fourier-transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).Our results showed that in the non-loading condition,a porous and weak inorganic product layer(mainly Mg/Ca phosphate and carbonate)formed on the surface of the Mg alloy sample immersed in SBF,which hardly had a protective effect on Mg alloy corrosion. For the samples immersed in plasma, the organic particles promoted the formation of an organic and more compact product layer, which protected the Mg alloy from severe corrosion. For the sample immersed in whole blood, the blood cells affected organic particle deposition on the product layer and thus interfered with the formation of an organic compact product layer, which slightly accelerated the corrosion process.Furthermore, cyclic loading damaged the layer integrity and significantly increased the corrosion rates of all the studied materials compared to the samples not subjected to cyclic loading.Nonetheless, under cyclic loading, blood cells adsorbed on the Mg alloy surfaces, and formed films, which protected the Mg alloy substrate and delayed Mg alloy corrosion.

文摘Objective Patients with chronic ulcerative colitis(UC)often have mental symptoms such as depression and anxiety, and stress can lead to gastrointestinal diseases. However, the correlation between mental stress and UC is unclear. In this paper, chronic unpredictable mild stress(CUMS)was utilized to evaluate the involvement of mental factors in the pathogenesis of UC.Methods The CUMS model was used to evaluate the direct/indirect involvement of mental factors in the pathogenesis of UC.The behavior was evaluated by the open field, forced swimming, and tail suspension tests.Body weight, the disease activity index(DAI)score, colon length, and HE staining of colon tissue were used to evaluate the action of CUMS and fluoxetine. Results The results showed that weight loss and the DAI score increased in CUMS mice, but they had no meaningful effect on colon length and morphological structure of colon tissue. However,CUMS aggravated dextran sulfate sodium(DSS)-induced colon length shortening and colon morphological structure damage.Fluoxetine significantly improved the DAI score, shortened colon length, and damaged morphology and structure of the colons induced by CUMS combined with DSS in mice.Fluoxetine also decreased the level of IL-6 in the serum and the TNF-αand IFN-γlevels of colon tissue.Fluoxetine simultaneously improved behavioral abnormalities induced by CUMS combined with DSS in mice. Conclusion CUMS aggravated the UC symptoms induced by DSS,and fluoxetine could improve the UC symptoms due to its improvement in the inflammatory level and behavioral abnormalities.

文摘Circadian rhythm is an endogenous rhythmic behavior of organisms which can be entrained by daily light–dark cycles. The timing of human sleep-cycle is regulated by endogenous circadian rhythm and homeostatic processes. This study provides a theoretical reference for preventing and treating sleep disorder and social jet-lag for individuals with different chronotypes.

文摘BACKGROUND The benefits of healthy lifestyles are well recognized. Besides, compared with maintaining two healthy LFs, improving healthy LFs from 2to 3–4 was associated with a 23% lower risk of CVD(HR = 0.77, 95% CI: 0.60–0.98).CONCLUSIONS Long-term sustenance of healthy lifestyles or improving unhealthy lifestyles can reduce and delay CVD risk.
文摘Hybrid lead halide perovskites have received great attention in the field of light-emitting diodes(LEDs)owing to their excellent optoelectronic properties, low cost, and high color purity. To data, the external quantum efficiency(EQE)of lead halide perovskites LEDs has been reported to exceed 20%[1].Even so,the toxicity of conventional lead has cast a gloomy shadow over their further application.

文摘Trade-offs between survival and growth are widely observed in plants.Melon is an annual, trailing herb that produces economically valuable fruits that are traditionally cultivated in early spring in China.Melon seedlings are sensitive to low temperatures, and thus usually suffer from cold stress during the early growth period. However, little is known about the mechanism behind the trade-offs between seedling cold tolerance and fruit quality in melon. In this study,a total of 31 primary metabolites were detected from the mature fruits of eight melon lines that differ with respect to seedling cold tolerance;these included 12 amino acids,10 organic acids, and 9 soluble sugars. Our results showed that concentrations of most of the primary metabolites in the cold-resistant melons were generally lower than in the cold-sensitive melons;the greatest difference in metabolite levels was observed between the cold-resistant line H581 and the moderately cold-resistant line HH09.The metabolite and transcriptome data for these two lines were then subjected to weighted correlation network analysis, resulting in the identification of five key candidate genes underlying the balancing between seedling cold tolerance and fruit quality.Among these genes,CmEAF7 might play multiple roles in regulating chloroplast development, photosynthesis, and the ABA pathway.Furthermore,multi-method functional analysis showed that CmEAF7 can certainly improve both seedling cold tolerance and fruit quality in melon. Our study identified an agriculturally important gene,CmEAF7,and provides a new insight into breeding methods to develop melon cultivars with seedling cold tolerance and high fruit quality.
