The gut microbiota plays a pivotal role in the maintenance of health for amphibians,and it has been fully recognized,but the effectiveness of various influencing factors has not yet been fully clarified.Although this association should be considered while the amphibian order Caudata is facing a severe situation of population decline and extinction,there is little understanding of the association between diets and the diversity of gut microbiota in the amphibian order Caudata.Here,we conducted an extensive analysis of the gut microbiota of Cynops orientalis fed different diets using functional prediction and 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing techniques.First,we found that wild individuals had greater gut microbial diversity and richness in comparison to captive individuals.Second,we identified the bacterial taxa associated with diets and observed differences in the relative abundance of gut microbiota among people on various diets.Finally,we have a predictive comprehension of the selection and adaptative significance of shared core ASVs in the gut microbiota in maintaining the healthy survival of C.orientalis in a large-scale spatiotemporal map.Our study emphasizes how diets alter the gut microbiota of Caudata and offers fresh perspectives on the conservation and captive management of species in Caudata. 展开更多

It can occur in multiple tissues and organs including kidney, adrenal, bladder, liver, small intestine, colon and rectum, with a preferred location within the chest area, in the limbs and around the spine, but with rare cases of abdominal, pelvic or retroperitoneal. Here we present a case of the retroperitoneal PENT/EWS in a 38-year-old man and we discuss the clinical features, histopathological characteristics, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. 展开更多

壶菌感染对两栖动物种群影响的研究现状与挑战

加强生物多样性保护与共建地球生命共同体是我国的重大战略。两栖动物是脊椎动物中生物多样性受威胁最严重的类群,两种壶菌Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis(Bd)和B.salamandrivorans(Bsal)的感染是两栖动物多样性下降的主要因素之一。B... 加强生物多样性保护与共建地球生命共同体是我国的重大战略。两栖动物是脊椎动物中生物多样性受威胁最严重的类群,两种壶菌Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis(Bd)和B.salamandrivorans(Bsal)的感染是两栖动物多样性下降的主要因素之一。Bd主要感染两栖动物无尾目、有尾目和蚓螈目的皮肤,可能引起两栖动物淋巴细胞凋亡和全身电解质失衡。Bsal主要感染有尾目,可能导致两栖动物致命的败血症。针对壶菌及其感染对两栖动物种群影响的研究在国外已经开展了大量工作,然而我国在该领域的研究有限。本文通过检索1990–2022年国内外文献,梳理和总结了壶菌病原的可能起源与传播、壶菌感染的发病机制、壶菌毒力的影响因素和壶菌病原体的诊断与防治等领域的研究,并提出了未来的研究方向和技术方法的改进需求,如利用全基因组测序技术溯源、开发RPA技术进行野外检测和应用转录组学研究宿主–病原体的免疫等。最后,提出以下4条建议:(1)建设壶菌病原基础数据平台,建立壶菌病常规检测部门,并将壶菌病监测纳入野生动物疫病监测体系;(2)深入开展我国两栖动物不同地理区系壶菌感染情况的相关研究;(3)探索学科交叉与部门合作,如流行病学、免疫学、微生物学和生态学等;(4)加强国际交流合作,构建符合特殊亚洲环境的壶菌感染和预测模型。本研究将为两栖动物保护拓展新思路,助力我国两栖动物保护的可持续发展。 展开更多

Background:The incidence of hepatitis B virus(HBV)has decreased year by year in China after the expansion of vaccination,but there is still a high disease burden in Jiangsu Province of China.Methods:The year-by-year incidence data of HBV in Jiangsu Province from 1990 to 2021 were collected.The incidence rates of males and females age groups were clustered by systematic clustering,and the incidence rates of each age group were analyzed and studied by using Joinpoint regression model and age-period-cohort effect model(APC).Results:Joinpoint regression model and APC model showed a general decrease in HBV prevalence in both males and females.In addition,the results of the APC model showed that the age,period,and cohort effects of patients all affected the incidence of HBV,and the incidence was higher in males than in females.The incidence is highest in the population between the ages of 15 and 30 years(mean:21.76/100,000),especially in males(mean:31.53/100,000)than in females(mean:11.67/100,000).Another high-risk group is those over 60 years of age(mean:21.40/100,000),especially males(mean:31.17/100,000)than females(mean:11.63/100,000).The period effect of the APC model suggests that HBV vaccination is effective in reducing the incidence of HBV in the population.Conclusions:The incidence of HBV in Jiangsu Province showed a gradual downward trend,but the disease burden in males was higher than that in females.The incidence is higher and increasing rapidly in the population between the ages of 15 and 30 years and people over 60 years of age.More targeted prevention and control measures should be imple-mented for males and the elderly. 展开更多

全球生物多样性减少是当今世界面临的重大生态问题,两栖动物作为衡量环境的重要指示物种,近些年受到越来越多研究者的关注。本文以脊椎动物中生物多样性受威胁最严重的两栖动物为研究对象,通过检索2003-2021年文献,提取并整合关键词。... 全球生物多样性减少是当今世界面临的重大生态问题,两栖动物作为衡量环境的重要指示物种,近些年受到越来越多研究者的关注。本文以脊椎动物中生物多样性受威胁最严重的两栖动物为研究对象,通过检索2003-2021年文献,提取并整合关键词。首先分析了当代人类活动中的人为噪音、夜间人造光、路杀等3个因子对两栖动物的影响,发现人为噪音导致两栖动物的鸣叫行为发生改变,并且干扰两栖动物的繁殖行为,夜间人造光降低了两栖动物的生长速度,减少了行为活动时间,路杀直接影响了两栖动物的种群数量。其次归纳相应的缓解措施,提出改进意见,如加强道路基础设施建设,安装隔音屏障以缓冲噪音;控制两栖动物密集区的光照强度;建造两栖动物通道等。最后对今后人类活动对两栖动物影响研究中亟需解决的问题进行了展望,应加强人类活动对两栖动物影响的研究,努力减小人类活动对两栖动物的负面影响。 展开更多

Simultaneously optimizing the estimation of the centroid and separation of two incoherent optical point sources is constrained by a tradeoff relation determined by an incompatibility coefficient.At the Rayleigh distance,the incompatibility coefficient vanishes and thus the tradeoff relation no longer restricts the simultaneous optimization of measurement for a joint estimation.We construct such a joint optimal measurement by an elaborated analysis on the operator algebra of the symmetric logarithmic derivative.Our work not only confirms the existence of a joint optimal measurement for this specific imaging model,but also gives a promising method to characterize the condition on measurement compatibility for general multiparameter estimation problems. 展开更多

近年来,随着国家对马铃薯产业重视程度的增加,生产的专业化和规模化程度越来越高,化肥农药用量不断加大,加之连作等种植模式,致使以疮痂病为代表的土传病害普遍发生且逐年加重,个别地块发病率达90%以上,给种植业者带来巨大的经济损失。... 近年来,随着国家对马铃薯产业重视程度的增加,生产的专业化和规模化程度越来越高,化肥农药用量不断加大,加之连作等种植模式,致使以疮痂病为代表的土传病害普遍发生且逐年加重,个别地块发病率达90%以上,给种植业者带来巨大的经济损失。【目的】为了探索马铃薯疮痂病发生与土壤环境的关系,分析区域性种植方式和施肥量对土壤细菌种群变化的影响,为实现土传病害有效防治提供借鉴。【方法】本文分别从1年连作土传病害轻的宁夏西吉(西北)、3年连作土传病害严重的河北沽源(华北)、5年轮作未发现土传病害的内蒙古海拉尔(东北)大田马铃薯根际采集土壤,利用高通量测序技术,比较了样品间细菌群落结构差异。【结果】3组样品共获得有效条带617558条,可分类操作单元(OTUs)3077个。各样品中变形菌门(Proteobacteria)数量最多,含量均在33%以上。与未发病土壤样品相比,土传病害发生严重的样品中细菌数量、物种数、细菌多样性、种类丰富度均有所降低,有害菌数量增加,益生菌数量减少。其中,放线菌(Actinobacteria)数量明显增多,变形菌(Proteobacteria)、绿弯菌(Chloroflexi)和酸杆菌(Acidobacteria)数量明显减少,组分及数量差异明显的细菌(尤其是放线菌门)大多与土壤全磷含量呈显著相关。【结论】过量施用化肥和常年连作改变了土壤细菌群落结构,生态环境恶化,导致土传性病害发生。其中,磷可能是影响土壤微生物群落结构变化最主要的肥料元素。 展开更多

目的分析儿童血液感染(BSI)金黄色葡萄球菌(SA)分离株的分子特征、毒力基因及耐药性,以进一步了解血流感染患儿分离SA的分子流行病学特征。方法收集2016—2021年上海市儿童医院临床血流感染患者的53株SA,采用仪器法和纸片法检测细菌药... 目的分析儿童血液感染(BSI)金黄色葡萄球菌(SA)分离株的分子特征、毒力基因及耐药性,以进一步了解血流感染患儿分离SA的分子流行病学特征。方法收集2016—2021年上海市儿童医院临床血流感染患者的53株SA,采用仪器法和纸片法检测细菌药物敏感性,采用聚合酶链反应技术检测SA的32种毒力基因;并进行多位点序列分型、葡萄球菌蛋白A(spa)分型及耐甲氧西林金黄色葡萄球菌(MRSA)菌株的葡萄球菌盒式染色体(SCCmec)分型。计数资料采用χ^(2)检验或Fisher确切检验进行统计学分析。结果53株SA菌株中,MRSA分离率达50.94%(27/53),ST398-t034-SCCmecⅤ(6/27,22.22%)和ST59-t437-SCCmecⅣ(4/27,14.81%)是MRSA分离株最常见的克隆型;甲氧西林敏感的金黄色葡萄球菌(MSSA)分离率达49.06%(26/53),以ST22-t309(3/26,11.54%)和ST7-t091/t1685(各2/26,7.69%)为流行分型。53株SA均携带≥6个毒力基因,33株菌株(62.26%)携带≥10个毒力基因,其中18株MSSA(69.23%)和15株MRSA(55.56%),pvl基因在MSSA的携带率高于MRSA(12/26,33.33%比6/27,22.22%;χ^(2)=3.382,P=0.065),sasX仅在MRSA中检出(4/53,7.55%)。53株SA对青霉素、红霉素和克林霉素耐药率分别为98.11%、49.06%和41.51%,MRSA对常用抗菌药物的耐药率普遍高于MSSA。结论儿童血流感染MRSA分离率较高,ST398-t034和ST59-t437是其最常见的克隆型。儿童BSI-SA毒力基因携带率较高,毒力基因pvl在MSSA中的携带率高于MRSA,sasX仅在MRSA中检出。儿童BSI-SA的耐药现状及毒力基因特征应引起临床重视。 展开更多

Background:The aim was to determine retinal nerve fiber layer function and its relations to retinal microvasculature and microcirculation in patients with myopia.Method:Polarization-sensitive optical coherence tomography(PS-OCT)was used to measure phase retardation per unit depth(PR/UD,proportional to the birefringence)of the retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL).Optical coherence tomography angiography(OCTA)was used to measure macular vessel density analyzed using fractal analysis.In addition,a retinal function imager(RFI)was used to measure macular blood flow velocities in arterioles and venules.Twenty-two patients with moderate myopia(MM,refraction>3 and<6 diopters),seventeen patients with high myopia(HM,≥6 D)and 29 healthy control subjects(HC,≤3.00 D)were recruited.One eye of each patient was imaged.Results:Although the average PR/UD of the RNFL in the HM group did not reach a significant level,the birefringence of the inferior quadrant was significantly lower(P<0.05)in the HM group compared to the HC group.Significant thinning of the average RNFL and focal thinning of RFNL in temporal,superior and inferior quadrants in the HM group were found,compared to the HC group(P<0.05).There were no significant differences of retinal blood flow velocities in arterioles and venules among groups(P>0.05).The macular vessel density in both superficial and deep vascular plexuses was significantly lower in the HM group than in the other two groups(P<0.05)as well as in the MM group than in the HC group(P<0.05).The average PR/UD and PR/UD in the inferior quadrant were not related to refraction,axial length,blood flow velocities and macular vessel densities(r ranged from−0.09 to 0.19,P>0.05).Conclusions:The impairment of the retinal nerve fiber birefringence in the HM group may be one of the independent features in high myopic eyes,which appeared not to relate to macular microvascular density and blood flow velocity. 展开更多

Coxsackievirus A16(CVA16) is one of major pathogens of hand, foot and mouth disease(HFMD) in children. Long non-coding RNAs(Inc RNAs) have been implicated in various biological processes,but they have not been associated with CVA16 infection. In this study, we comprehensively characterized the landscape of Inc RNAs of normal and CVA16 infected rhabdomyosarcoma(RD)cells using RNA-Seq to investigate the functional relevance of Inc RNAs. We showed that a total of 760 Inc RNAs were upregulated and 1210 Inc RNAs were downregulated. Out of these dysregulated Inc RNAs, 43.64% were intergenic, 22.31% were sense, 15.89% were intronic, 8.67% were bidirectional, 5.59% were antisense, 3.85% were s RNA host Inc RNAs and 0.05% were enhancer. Six dysregulated Inc RNAs were validated by quantitative PCR assays and the secondary structures of these Inc RNAs were projected. Moreover, we conducted a bioinformatics analysis of an Inc RNAs(ENST00000602478) to elucidate the diversity of modification and functions of Inc RNAs. In summary, the current study compared the dysregulated Inc RNAs profile upon CVA16 challenge and illustrated the intricate relationship between coding and Inc RNAs transcripts. These results may not only provide a complete picture of transcription in CVA16 infected cells but also provide novel molecular targets for treatments of HFMD. 展开更多

Introduction:Many measures implemented to control the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic have reshaped the epidemic patterns of other infectious diseases.This study estimated the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on respiratory and intestinal infectious diseases and potential changes following reopening.Methods:The optimal intervention and counterfactual models were selected from the seasonal autoregressive integrated moving average(SARIMA),neural network autoregression(NNAR),and hybrid models based on the minimum mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)in the test set.The relative change rate between the actual notification rate and that predicted by the optimal model was calculated for the entire COVID-19 epidemic prevention period and the“reopening”period.Results:Compared with the predicted notification rate based on the counterfactual model,the total relative change rates for the 9 infectious diseases were−44.24%,respiratory infections(−55.41%),and intestinal infections(−26.59%)during 2020–2022.Compared with the predicted notification rate based on the intervention model,the total relative change rates were+247.98%,respiratory infections(+389.59%),and intestinal infections(+50.46%)in 2023.Among them,the relative increases in influenza(+499.98%)and hand-foot-mouth disease(HFMD)(+70.97%)were significant.Conclusions:Measures taken in Jiangsu Province in response to COVID-19 effectively constrained the spread of respiratory and intestinal infectious diseases.Influenza and HFMD rebounded significantly after the lifting of COVID-19 intervention restrictions. 展开更多
