However, in...For spaceborne multi-beam antennas(MBAs), time division multiplexed switching(TDMS) based calibration receiver can reduce implementation costs effectively and is very suitable for large-scale applications. However, in practice, random phase noise imposed by noisy local oscillators can cause significant performance degradation in TDMS-based calibration systems. Characterization of phase noise effects is therefore crucial for practical applications. In this paper, we analyze the impact of phase noise on the calibration performance for a MBA system. Specifically, we derive the relationship between the probability of correct amplitude/phase estimation and various practical factors involving the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR), the standard deviation of phase noise, the given tolerance region, and the length of the spreading code. The results provide high efficiency for evaluating the calibration performance of the MBAs based on TDMS, especially for precisely anticipating the impact of phase noise. Finally, the accuracy of the derived results is assessed by simulations in different scenarios.展开更多
Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)is a prevalent malignant tumor affecting the head and neck region(Leemans et al.,2018).It is often diagnosed at a later stage,leading to a poor prognosis(Muzaffar et al.,2021;Li et al...Oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)is a prevalent malignant tumor affecting the head and neck region(Leemans et al.,2018).It is often diagnosed at a later stage,leading to a poor prognosis(Muzaffar et al.,2021;Li et al.,2023).Despite advances in OSCC treatment,the overall 5-year survival rate of OSCC patients remains alarmingly low,falling below 50%(Jehn et al.,2019;Johnson et al.,2020).According to statistics,only 50%of patients with oral cancer can be treated with surgery.Once discovered,it is more frequently at an advanced stage.In addition,owing to the aggressively invasive and metastatic characteristics of OSCC,most patients die within one year of diagnosis.Hence,the pursuit of novel therapeutic drugs and treatments to improve the response of oral cancer to medication,along with a deeper understanding of their effects.展开更多
Acute pancreatitis(AP)is a common and potentially life-threatening pancreatic inflammatory disease.Although it is usually self-limiting,up to 20%of patients will develop into severe AP.It may lead to systemic inflamma...Acute pancreatitis(AP)is a common and potentially life-threatening pancreatic inflammatory disease.Although it is usually self-limiting,up to 20%of patients will develop into severe AP.It may lead to systemic inflammatory response syndrome and multiple organ dysfunction,affecting the lungs,kidneys,liver,heart,etc.Surviving patients usually have sequelae of varying degrees,such as chronic hyperglycemia after AP(CHAP),pancreatic exocrine insufficiency,and chronic pancreatitis.Lacking specific target treatments is the main reason for high mortality and morbidity,which means that more research on the pathogenesis of AP is needed.Ferroptosis is a newly discovered regulated cell death(RCD),originally described in cancer cells,involving the accumulation of iron and the depletion of plasma membrane polyunsaturated fatty acids,and a caspase-independent RCD.It is closely related to neurological diseases,myocardial infarction,ischemia/reperfusion injury,cancer,etc.Research in the past years has also found the effects of ferroptosis in AP,pancreatic cancer,and AP complications,such as acute lung injury and acute kidney injury.This article reviews the research progress of ferroptosis and its association with the pathophysiological mechanisms of AP,trying to provide new insight into the pathogenesis and treatment of AP,facilitating the development of better-targeted drugs.展开更多

The optical and thermal properties of the flexible filament were i...This paper introduces a new type of spiral white light-emitting diodes(WLED) filament with high luminous efficiency and uniform optical performance. The optical and thermal properties of the flexible filament were investigated at different stretching heights, namely 0, 1, 2, and 3 cm. The results indicated that the filament showed the best optical characteristics at the stretching height of 2 cm, because of good heat dissipation. In addition, the radiation temperature of the filament was inversely proportional to the output luminous flux. The reliability of the filament at a stretching height of 2 cm was also evaluated after 1000 h of use. The result demonstrated that the luminous flux decay of the bulb was only 0.85%. The flexible spiral WLED filament exhibiting high luminous flux and good reliability could be adapted to promote industrial development in the near future.展开更多
