For simplicity of analysis, the problem is divided into two less complex sub-problems: power allocation and channel allocation, which can be solved by a suboptimal adaptive power allocation (APA)algorithm and an optimal adaptive channel allocation (ACA) algorithm, respectively. By combining APA and ACA algorithms, an adaptive channel and power allocation scheme is proposed. The numerical results show that the proposed APA algorithm is more suitable for MC-CDMA systems than the conventional equal power allocation algorithm, and that the proposed channel and power allocation scheme can significantly improve the system throughout performance.展开更多

For the PAPR distribution and the connection between the PAPR and the number of users in the MC-CDMA system using SLM, the simulations are given based on several phase sequences in SLM. The simulation results slow that when randdom sequences, Shapiro-Rudin sequences or Golay complementary sequences are selected as the phase sequences in SLM, SLM has obvious effect on the PAPR reduction in MC-CDMA system and the system PAPR nearly maintains constant as the number of users varies. The maximal PAPR in the MC-CDMA system using SLM(10 ttsers)is about 6.3 which is 3.3 less than that in the common MC-CDMA system (without SLM).展开更多

At each stage, it first converts the interference-cancel...This paper proposes a new multi-stage parallel interference cancellation scheme by modifying the conventional multi-stage parallel interference canceller (PIC). At each stage, it first converts the interference-cancelled outputs from previous stage into thea prior information, in terms of which the bit mean values are computed and the multi-access interference (MAI) for each user is evaluated, and then an interference cancellation is performed to obtain further interference suppression. To reduce the implementation complexity, we give an approximation expression for bit mean value. The performance over AWGN channel is analyzed and compared to the conventional PIC. The user numberK=7 and spreading factorN=13 are chosen as simulation parameters. The computer simulation results show that the proposed PIC has better performance than the conventional PIC both with 2 interference cancellation (IC) stages, at bit error rate of 10?3, for example, about 3 dB performance gain is obtained by using the proposed PIC. It is also shown that our proposed PIC with 1-stage is superior to the conventional PIC with 2-stage in performance, which is of practical value because PIC with fewer stages can bring about shorter processing delay. In the proposed methods, at the transmitter, by using Karhaunen-Loeve Transform and Discrete Fourier Transform, the transmitted power is set to zero in the directions of the eigenvectors that will be severely contaminated by NBI; and therefore less part of the transmitted energy will be polluted by NBI in channel. The processing is transferred from receiver to transmitter, and thus the complexity of the receiver is significantly reduced. Multiuser detection, which makes use of cross-correlation information between spread spectrum codes, can reduce or eliminate the MAI in a Gaussian channel so as to mitigate the near-far effects and increase the system capacity. This paper extends the multiuser detector to a flat Rayleigh fading CDMA environment, and discusses the bit error rate of typical multiuser detection algorithms in such a environment by combining theoretical analysis and computer simulation. Based on the MLE (maximum likelihood estimate), and by estimating the amplitude and the phase of the sky-wave signal, the provided algorithm for separating skyground-wave is implemented. The mathematics model used for signal processing is established, and the possible solutions are provided. The structure and signal processing flow implementing the presented algorithm in the receiver are presented. A multi-channels signal searching idea is adopted, some of which process the sky-wave signal, and some of which process the ground-wave signal. Numerical analysis and simulation show that the proposed algorithm has higher accuracy, more rapid processing speed, and simpler implementation for the estimation of the sky-wave signal parameter, and can separate the sky-wave signal and ground-wave signal from the arrival combination signal effectively.展开更多

Through computer simulation, the performance of our proposed scheme in multipath fading can be better than that of just STC is used, the taps of the Prerake should be chosen to be equal to the multipath number in the matter of minimum mean square error. An improved MBD algorithm for separating linear convolved mixtures of signals in CDMA system is proposed. This algorithm is based on minimizing the average squared cross-output-channel-correlation. The mixture coefficients are totally unknown, while some knowledge about temporal model exists. Numerical analysis and simulation show that the proposed algorithm has higher accuracy, more rapid processing speed, and simpler implementation for the estimation of the sky-wave signal parameter, and can separate the sky-wave signal and ground-wave signal from the arrival combination signal effectively.
文摘A novel synthetical transmit diversity, namely Prerake joint with Space-Time Trellis Coded Modulation (STTCM), for TDD DS-CDMA system is proposed in this paper. Space-Time Code (STC) is applied under the multipath fading circumstance. Prerake is used in stead of Rake to overcome multipath fading for the simplicity of the receiver configuration. Through computer simulation, the performance of our proposed scheme in multipath fading can be better than that of just STC is used, the taps of the Prerake should be chosen to be equal to the multipath number in the matter of minimum mean square error. A new constellation (8APK) is presented to construct a kind of STC that achieves better performance than that of 8PSK.

文摘Direct sequence spread spectrum transmission can be realized at low SNR, and has low probabilityof detection. It is aly problem how to obtain the original users' signal in a non-cooperative context. In practicality, the DS/CDMA sources received are linear convolute mixing. A more complex multichannel blind deconvolution MBD algorithm is required to achieve better source separation. An improved MBD algorithm for separating linear convolved mixtures of signals in CDMA system is proposed. This algorithm is based on minimizing the average squared cross-output-channel-correlation. The mixture coefficients are totally unknown, while some knowledge about temporal model exists. Results show that the proposed algorithm can bring about the exactness and low computational complexity.
