The lifetimes of these clusters are calculated according to their Lindemann index δ (t) using the criteria of δ≥0.07. For both the filled and empty clusters, we find the dynamics of bulk water determines the lifetimes of cage-like water clusters, and that the lifetime of 512 62 cage-like cluster is the same as that of 512 cage-like cluster. Although the methane molecule indeed makes the filled cage-like cluster more stable than the empty one, the empty cage-like cluster still has chance to be long-lived compared with the filled clusters. These observations support the labile cluster hypothesis on the formation mechanisms of gas hydrates.展开更多

The fourth member is composed of two three-order sequences, including a lower Sequence 1(SQ1) and an upper Sequence 2(SQ2). SQ2, which is the focus of this study, comprises a lowstand systems tract(LST) and a transgressive system tract(TST). Three types of beach-bars have been recognized: shallow-littoral lacustrine sandy beach-bars, semi-deep lacustrine storm-related sandy beach-bars and shallow-littoral lacustrine carbonate beach-bars. Paleo-environments during the deposition of SQ2, including the paleo-geomorphology, paleo-water depth and paleo-source have been reconstructed to determine the formation mechanisms of the different types of beach-bars. The shallow-littoral lacustrine sandy beach-bars formed mainly by waves and currents and were mostly deposited in the LST, where water depths ranged from 3 to 9 m and the terrestrial clast supply is sufficient. The storm-related sandy beach-bars developed in the TST in the southern part of the study area near previously massively deposited sand bodies where there was sufficient water depth to preserve them. The carbonate beach-bars formed primarily in the TST in the Shubei low buried hill belt where there was a lack of terrestrial clast supply and complex, uneven geomorphology that easily gave rise to a lagoonal environment.展开更多

According to the sedimentary structures and distribution characteristics of these rocks, the carbonate breccias fall into two categories, based on their origins: one formed by fan-delta channel sedimentation, whereas the other formed by earthquake-induced slump fan deposition. Clast-supported rudstone and matrixsupported rudstone are the main lithologies deposited by braided rivers in the fan delta plain and front, of which the pore space is mainly dissolution pores within gravels and tectonic fissures. Clastsupported rudstone, matrix-supported rudstone and mixed-source rudstone are the main lithologies of the earthquake-induced slump fans. These carbonate breccias developed along with soft-sediment deformation structures, which are interpreted as seismites and are widely distributed in the sag, in which intercrystalline pores, intergranular pores and fissures created from diagenetic shrinkage are developed. The two kinds of rudstones have different reservoir characteristics and oil/gas testing results. The rudstones generated in the fan delta have higher porosity and permeability, as well as better oil/gas testing results. Thus, they are key targets for petroleum exploration.展开更多

The paper reviews and analyses current state of knowledge and research into ground fissure and geological environment in Hebei Plain. It is shown that the level of research and investigation is in some aspects insufficient. Knowledge is lacking in the use of corresponding geological concept models for specific ground fissures, three-dimensional numerical simulations of ground fissures caused by pumping through soil with pre-existing fractures, numerical simulations of ground fissures caused by dislocation in intersection faults, and the failure criterion and the constitutive relationship of rock and soil. Furthermore, we put forward geological concept models for ground fissure formation following the dislocation of a buried intersection fault, over-exploitation of groundwater and its compound origin mechanisms in order to provide scientific evidence for the quantitative analysis.展开更多

Therefore, pure shear is dominant in the ESE part of the XMCC while simple shear becomes increasingly important towards WNW. However, the shear type does not change with the strain across the shear zone, thus the variation of shear type is of significance in indicating the formation mechanism. The granitic plutons within the XMCC came from the deep source and their emplacement was an active and forceful upwelling prior to the detachment faulting. The PTt path demonstrates that magmatism is an important cause for the formation of the XMCC. The formation mechanism of the XMCC is supposed to be active plutonism and passive detachment. The results demonstrated that the spheroidal carbide belonged to eutectic carbide and crystallized in the isolated eutectic liquid phase area. The formation process of the spheroidal carbide was related to the contact and the intersection between the primary dendrite and the secondary dendrite of austenite. The oxides of magnesium, rare earths and other elements can act as heterogeneous nucleation sites for the spheroidal carbide. It was also found that the amount of the spheroidal carbide would increase with an increase in carbon content. The cooling rate has an important influence on the spheroidal carbide under the same chemical composition condition.展开更多

文摘The additive manufacturing(AM)of Ni-based superalloys has attracted extensive interest from both academia and industry due to its unique capabilities to fabricate complex and high-performance components for use in high-end industrial systems. However, the intense temperature gradient induced by the rapid heating and cooling processes of AM can generate high levels of residual stress and metastable chemical and structural states, inevitably leading to severe metallurgical defects in Ni-based superalloys.Cracks are the greatest threat to these materials’integrity as they can rapidly propagate and thereby cause sudden and non-predictable failure.Consequently, there is a need for a deeper understanding of residual stress and cracking mechanisms in additively manufactured Ni-based superalloys and ways to potentially prevent cracking,as this knowledge will enable the wider application of these unique materials. To this end, this paper comprehensively reviews the residual stress and the various mechanisms of crack formation in Ni-based superalloys during AM.In addition, several common methods for inhibiting crack formation are presented to assist the research community to develop methods for the fabrication of crack-free additively manufactured components.

文摘With the theoretical and technological developments related to cratonic strike-slip faults, the Shuntuoguole Low Uplift in the Tarim Basin has attracted considerable attention recently.Affected by multi-stage tectonic movements, the strike-slip faults have controlled the distribution of hydrocarbon resources owing to the special fault characteristics and fault-related structures. In contrast, the kinematics and formation mechanism of strike-slip faults in buried sedimentary basins are difficult to investigate, limiting the discussion of these faults and hydrocarbon accumulation. In this study,we identified the characteristics of massive sigmoidal tension gashes(STGs)that formed in the Shunnan area of the Tarim Basin.High-resolution three-dimensional seismic data and attribute analyses were used to investigate their geometric and kinematic characteristics. Then, the stress state of each point of the STGs was calculated using seismic curvature attributes. Finally, the formation mechanism of the STGs and their roles in controlling hydrocarbon migration and accumulation were discussed. The results suggest that:(1)the STGs developed in the Shunnan area have a wide distribution, with a tensile fault arranged in an enéchelon pattern, showing an S-shaped bending. These STGs formed in multiple stages, and differential rotation occurred along the direction of strike-slip stress during formation.(2)Near the principal displacement zone of the strike-slip faults, the stress value of the STGs was higher, gradually decreasing at both ends. The shallow layer deformation was greater than the deep layer deformation.(3)STGs are critical for connecting source rocks, migrating oil and gas, sealing horizontally, and developing efficient reservoirs. This study not only provides seismic evidence for the formation and evolution of super large STGs,but also provides certain guidance for oil and gas exploration in this area.

文摘Beach-bars are well developed in the fourth member of the Shahejie Formation in the Shubei area, western depression of the Liaohe oilfield. The carbonate beach-bars formed primarily in the TST in the Shubei low buried hill belt where there was a lack of terrestrial clast supply and complex, uneven geomorphology that easily gave rise to a lagoonal environment.

文摘As an important precursor of hydroxyl radical(OH),nitrous acid(HONO)plays a significant role in atmospheric chemistry. Here,an observation of HONO and relevant air pollutants in an urban site of Beijing from 14 to 28 April,2017 was performed. Two distinct peaks of HONO concentrations occurred during the observation. In contrast, the concentration of particulate matter in the first period(periodⅠ)was significantly higher than that in the second period(periodⅡ).Comparing to HONO sources in the two periods,we found that the direct vehicle emissionwas an essential source of the ambient HONO during both periods at night, especially in periodⅡ.The heterogeneous reaction of NO_(2)was the dominant source in periodⅠ,while the homogeneous reaction of NO with OH was more critical source at night in periodⅡ.In the daytime, the heterogeneous reaction of NO_(2)was a significant source andwas confirmed by the good correlation coefficients(R^(2))between the unknown sources(P_(unknown))with NO_(2),PM_(2.5),NO_(2)×PM_(2.5)in periodⅠ.Moreover, when solar radiation and OH radicals were considered to explore unknown sources in the daytime, the enhanced correlation of P_(unknown)with photolysis rate of NO_(2)and OH(J_(NO_(2))×OH)were 0.93 in periodⅠ,0.95 in periodⅡ.These excellent correlation coefficients suggested that the unknown sources released HONO highly related to the solar radiation and the variation of OH radicals.

文摘Based on observations made on cores and cuttings from several wells in the lowermost part of the third member of the Shahejie Formation, several rock types, specifically clast-supported rudstone, matrix-supported rudstone, mixed-source rudstone, calcisiltite/calcarenite, massive calcilutite and laminated calcilutite, have been identified in the Shulu sag. Thus, they are key targets for petroleum exploration.

文摘A comprehensive study was undertaken at Jiaozi coal mine to investigate the development regularity of ground fissures in shallow buried coal seam mining with Karst landform, shedding light on the development type, geographical distribution, dynamic development process, and failure mechanism of these ground fissures by employing field monitoring, numerical simulation, and theoretical analysis. The findings demonstrate that ground fissure development has an obvious feature of subregion, and its geographical distribution is significantly affected by topography.Tensile type, open type, and stepped type are three different categories of ground fissure.Ground fissures emerge dynamically as the panel advances, and they typically develop with a distance of less than periodic weighting step distance in advance of panel advancing position.Ground fissures present the dynamic development feature, temporary fissure has the ability of self-healing.The dynamic development process of ground fissure with closed-distance coal seam repeated mining is expounded, and the development scale is a dynamic development stage of“closure→expansion→stabilized”on the basis of the original development scale. From the perspective of topsoil deformation, the computation model considering two points movement vectors towards two directions of the gob and the ground surface is established, the development criterion considering the critical deformation value of topsoil is obtained. The mechanical model of hinged structure of inclined body is proposed to clarify the ground fissure development, and the interaction between slope activity and ground fissure development is expounded. These research results fulfill the gap of ground fissures about development regularity and formation mechanism, and can contribute to ground fissure prevention and treatment with Karst landform.

文摘Due to the insufficient slip systems in hexagonal close-packed structure, twinning is frequently activated to support stable plastic deformation of Mg alloy. In this work,we found four typical twin-like interfaces with misorientations of 102°,109°,142°and 149°,respectively,which had not only a shared[1120]zone axis of neighboring grains, but also overlapped diffraction spots similar to twins. However, highresolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM)analysis revealed that the interfaces in real space deviated from the supposed twinning planes in reciprocal space,i.e.their overlapped diffraction spots. We clarified that the incoherent interfaces were co-axial grain boundaries(CGBs).Additionally,a special angle ofθ,close to 90°,between the interface and one side of basal plane, was frequently formed in CGBs.We proposed that interaction of multiple twinning contributes to the formation of CGBs,and theθis formed due to alternative tensile and compression twinning under a uniaxial loading.

文摘Ground fissure hazards frequently emerge in Hebei Plain, which damage roads, dams, buildings and farmland. Furthermore, we put forward geological concept models for ground fissure formation following the dislocation of a buried intersection fault, over-exploitation of groundwater and its compound origin mechanisms in order to provide scientific evidence for the quantitative analysis.

文摘Co-Ni-based superalloys are known for their capability to function at elevated temperatures and superior hot corrosion and thermal fatigue resistance. Therefore, these alloys show potential as crucial high-temperature structural materials for aeroengine and gas turbine hot-end components. Our previous work elucidated the influence of Ti and Ta on the high-temperature mechanical properties of alloys. However, the intricate interaction among elements considerably affects the oxidation resistance of alloys. In this paper,Co-35Ni-10Al-2W-5Cr-2Mo-1Nb-xTi-(5−x)Ta alloys(x=1,2,3,4)with varying Ti and Ta contents were designed and compounded, and their oxidation resistance was investigated at the temperature range from 800 to 1000℃.After oxidation at three test conditions,namely,800℃for 200 h,900℃for 200 h,and 1000℃for 50 h,the main structure of the oxide layer of the alloy consisted of spinel,Cr_(2)O_(3),and Al_(2)O_(3)from outside to inside.Oxides consisting of Ta,W,and Mo formed below the Cr_(2)O_(3)layer.The interaction of Ti and Ta imparted the highest oxidation resistance to 3Ti2Ta alloy.Conversely,an excessive amount of Ti or Ta resulted in an adverse effect on the oxidation resistance of the alloys. This study reports the volatilization of W and Mo oxides during the oxidation process of Co-Ni-based cast superalloys with a high Al content for the first time and explains the formation mechanism of holes in the oxide layer. The results provide a basis for gaining insights into the effects of the interaction of alloying elements on the oxidation resistance of the alloys they form.

文摘In this work, the Permian Longtan marine-continental transitional shale in the southeast of Sichuan Basin was taken as study object.Through petrology and geochemical analysis, lithofacies types of the marine-continental transitional shale were classified, key controlling factors of physical properties and gas content of the different shale lithofacies were analyzed. The research results show that the Longtan Formation marine-continental transitional shale in the study area has four types of lithofacies,namely,organic-lean calcareous shale,organic-lean mixed shale,organic-lean argillaceous shale, and organic-rich argillaceous shale, among which the organic-rich argillaceous shale is the most favorable lithofacies of the study area. The pore types of different lithofacies vary significantly and the clay mineral-related pore is the dominant type of the pore system in the study area. The main controlling factor of the physical properties is clay mineral content, and the most important factor affecting gas content is TOC content.Compared with marine shale, the marine-continental transitional shale has low average values, wide distribution range, and strong heterogeneity in TOC content, porosity, and pore structure parameters, but still contains some favorable layers with high physical properties and gas contents. The organic-rich clay shale deposited in tidal flat-lagoon system is most likely to form shale gas sweet spots,so it should be paid more attention in shale gas exploration.
文摘The kinematic vorticity number and strain of the mylonitic zone related to the detachment fault increase from ESE to WNW along the moving direction of the upper plate of the Xiaoqinling metamorphic core complex (XMCC) and the geometry of quartz c-axis fabrics changes progressively from crossed girdles to single girdles in the same direction. 文摘The upper reaches of the Minjiang River are in the eastern margin of the Tibetan Plateau, where active faults are well developed and earthquakes frequently occur.Anomalous climate change and the extremely complex geomechanical properties of rock and soil have resulted in a number of geohazards.Based on the analysis of remote sensing interpretations, geological field surveys, geophysical prospecting and geological dating results, this paper discusses the developmental characteristics of the Gamisi ancient landslide in Songpan County,Sichuan Province, and investigates its geological age and formation mechanism. This study finds that the Gamisi ancient landslide is in the periglacial region of the Minshan Mountain and formed approximately 25 ka BP.The landslide initiation zone has a collapse and slide zone of approximately 22.65×106–31.7×106 m3 and shows a maximum sliding distance of approximately 1.42 km,with an elevation difference of approximately 310 m between the back wall of the landslide and the leading edge of the accumulation area. The landslide movement was characterized by a high speed and long runout.During the sliding process, the landslide body eroded and dammed the ancient Minjiang River valley. The ancient river channel was buried 30-60 m below the surface of the landslide accumulation area.Geophysical prospecting and drilling observations revealed that the ancient riverbed was approximately 80-100 m thick. After the dam broke, the Minjiang River was migrated to the current channel at the leading edge of the landslide. The Gamisi ancient landslide was greatly affected by the regional crustal uplift, topography, geomorphology and paleoclimatic change. The combined action of periglacial karstification and climate change caused the limestone at the rear edge of the landslide fractured, thus providing a lithological foundation for landslide occurrence.Intense tectonic activity along the Minjiang Fault, which runs through the middle and trailing parts of the Gamisi ancient landslide, may have been the main factor inducing landsliding.Studying the Gamisi ancient landslide is of great significance for investigating the regional response to paleoclimatic change and geomorphologic evolution of the Minjiang Fault since the late Pleistocene and for disaster prevention and mitigation.

文摘Inconel 718,a nickel, chrome and iron alloy, has special advantages, such as high-temperature strength, thermal resistance and corrosion resistance, which facilitate wide usage in the aerospace industry, especially in the hot sections of gas turbine engines. However, machining this alloy is correlated closely with the material’s inherent properties such as excellent combination of strength, hardness and toughness, low thermal conductivity and the tendency to adhere to cutting tools. This nickel alloy also contains inclusions of hard abrasive carbide particles that lead to work-hardening of the workpiece material and thus abrasive wear of the cutting tool. That is,the machining of Inconel 718 is always influenced by high mechanical and thermal loads. This article reviews the chip formation mechanism of Inconel 718.One of the main characteristics in machining of Inconel 718 is that it will produce serrated or segmented chips in a wide range of cutting speeds and feeds.Existing studies show that the chip serration or segmentation by shear localization affects the machined surface integrity, and also contributes to the chip’s evacuation and the automation of machining operations. Thus, research conclusion indicates that the serrated or segmented chip phenomenon is desirable in reducing the level of cutting force, and detailed analysis of models and approaches to understand the chip formation mechanism of Inconel 718 is vital for machining this alloy effectively and efficiently. Therefore, this article presents some summaries on the models and approaches on the chip formation in machining of Inconel 718.

文摘The formation mechanism of the spheroidal carbide in the ultra-low carbon ductile cast iron fabricated by the metal mold casting technique was systematically investigated. The cooling rate has an important influence on the spheroidal carbide under the same chemical composition condition.
