This paper applies this framework to China :s-rural i...This paper for the first time proposes an empirical framework for inclusive growth, under which policy :s-efficiency and distributive impacts can both be assessed. This paper applies this framework to China :s-rural infrastructure and a large sample of individual-level data, providing estimates of growth and distributive impacts of physical infrastructures of telephone and tap water in rural China. They all are found to promote rural income growth, helping narrow the rural-urban gap in China. More importantly, the poorer gained more than the richer from these infrastructures, implying benign distributive effects. This paper sheds light on the positive and important role in which infrastructure plays to promote inclusive growth in rural China.展开更多

Sustainable growth is a prerequisite for high-quality development,and inclusive green growth is regarded as an important way to realize sustainable growth.This paper constructs a tourism inclusive green growth index(I...Sustainable growth is a prerequisite for high-quality development,and inclusive green growth is regarded as an important way to realize sustainable growth.This paper constructs a tourism inclusive green growth index(IGGI)system based on the 2018 Asian Development Bank IGGI.Using Shandong Province from 2017 to 2019,the entropy weight method is utilized to explore the degree of coupling and coordination among the subsystems of tourism inclusive green growth.The study shows that:(1)the tourism IGGI continues to grow;(2)in the tourism inclusive green growth system,the social equity subsystem shows a trend of steady improvement;and(3)in the system,there is a slight discordance between the economic growth subsystem and the environmental sustainability subsystem.The study aims to provide the scientific basis for the high-quality development of tourism and theoretical support for the field of tourism and environmental sustainability.展开更多
Since the launching of the western regional development program in 1999, the Chinese government has implemented a series of policy measures related to finance, taxation, investment, banking, and other related fields. ...Since the launching of the western regional development program in 1999, the Chinese government has implemented a series of policy measures related to finance, taxation, investment, banking, and other related fields. This combination of policies has stimulated socioeconomic growth and ecological improvement in China＇s western regions and has effectively curbed the runaway gap between the east and west, even causing the gap to begin shrinking gradually. However, it should be noted that the development gap between China＇s eastern and western regions remains significant, as demonstrated by the west＇s low level of industrial^commercial development, local governments＇ limited capacity to provide public services, and endemic rural poverty. Thus, achieving the targets outlined in the western regional development program remains a challenging task. In the future, China＇s western development program should emphasize a higher standard of living and coordinated, inclusive growth across regions.展开更多

In the face of these socio-economic realities, economists are trying to determine exactly how inclusive China＇s growth has been and how to increase that inclusiveness going forward. This paper aims to examine and measure the rate of inclusiveness in China＇s growth from 1978 to 2009 using a membership-based fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Results indicate that the past 30 years in China have only achieved ＂basic inclusivity, ＂ which indicates that there is much work to be done before China＇s economic growth can be considered to have equally benefited its entire population.展开更多

For well-being/upliftment of rural poor some of the basic components required are basic education, productive and decent employment and health care. The amenities of common people＇s life do rotate around these. Due to geophysical and cultural diversities prevailing in our country, the nature and dynamics of development in different States has notable variations. Our rural areas have also progressed and changed but they still need a lot to be provided. To ensure a balanced development in our country we need to lay emphasis on upliftment of the rural and marginalized poor. To accomplish this task government is working in this direction. However, it is still felt that concerted efforts are required on the basis of micro level background information. It could be done by addressing some of statistical and economic issues. The notable among them are percentage of surpluses mobilized from labour saving technological change utilized for essential services such as health, sanitation and education to entertainment and cultural activities; variation in acreage from traditional food crop to cash crop; changing trend, of the prices of agricultural inputs vis-a-vis the cost of agricultural output and use of ground water in cultivation; trend of informal credits in relation to rising cost of cultivation; analysis of the dynamics of welfare Schemes regarding employment, healthcare and basic education etc. Inclusive growth was the cardinal principle of 11 th Five Year Plan of our country. It was further strengthened in 12th Five Year Plan by prefixing faster and sustainable features to it. The Islamic theory of market aims to provide optimization of returns and satisfaction for all stakeholders. It also seeks to make ＂free market＂ an instrument of promoting equity and social justice for the welfare of society. It combines tenants from the free market model as well as those in command market economy. Islamic economics identifies certain functional parameters for the efficient functioning of the market to achieve the optimization of returns and social welfare like absence of middle men, prohibition of hoarding, mode of finance free from interest and usury, taxation and other wealth redistribution instruments like Zakat and Khums, asset-based and risk-sharing partnerships and stakes, etc.. It essentially creates conditions for proper functioning of a competitive market as an instrument of economic progress and social equity. In Islamic economics, the role accorded to the state is to ensure that institutions are set up and vigilance officers are appointed which create the specified condition for the proper and fair functioning of the market and hence preventing what is identified as ＂market failure＂. The role of the state is to improve the functioning of the market as opposed to that of systematic intervention. This paper tries to examine the Islamic notions of ＂free market＂ in the traditional sources like Qur＇an, Hadees, the early texts of Islamic Jurisprudence, and contemporary writings on Islamic economic system and to make a comparative analysis with theories of market in capitalist and socialist frameworks. The formation and growth behavior of inclusions in the liquid steel were studied based on 45 steel by virtue of high temperature confocal laser scanning microscope.The structures of all kinds of complex inclusions for...The formation and growth behavior of inclusions in the liquid steel were studied based on 45 steel by virtue of high temperature confocal laser scanning microscope.The structures of all kinds of complex inclusions formed in the process of cooling and solidification of liquid steel were analyzed,and disregistries between various inclusions were calculated.The results showed that inclusions with high melting point precipitated firstly,and inclusions with low disregistries precipitated later.The latter precipitated and grew up on the surface of the former,and finally clear layered complex inclusions formed.The low disregistry mechanism could not fully explain the forming reasons of all complex inclusions,but no matter which kind of mechanism leading to the formation of complex inclusions,its basic principle is that the first precipitated phase provides a low nuclear power interface for the latter,which can reduce the nucleation interface and strain energy barrier of the latter.展开更多
