Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of warming acupuncture combined with joint mobilization for the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis.Methods:A search for published randomized controlled trials(RCT)inv...Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of warming acupuncture combined with joint mobilization for the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis.Methods:A search for published randomized controlled trials(RCT)investigating warming acupuncture combined with joint mobilization for the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis was performed using the Cochrane Library,PubMed,Embase,and Web of Science databases.According to requirements of the Cochrane systematic review,all evaluations of RCT investigating warming acupuncture with joint mobilization in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis were performed via method quality assessment,data extraction,and data analysis.Revman 5.3 and Stata 12.0 statistical software were used for the meta-analysis,and the trial sequential analysis(TSA)software estimated the required information size for each outcome.Results:A total of 14 articles were retrieved for meta-analysis,which included 551 cases in the treatment group and 539 cases in the control group.Meta-analysis showed that:(1)warming acupuncture combined with joint mobilization improved total efficiency[OR=6.16,95%CI(3.79,10.00),Z=7.34;P<0.001),TSA results confirmed the results of the meta-analysis;(2)warming acupuncture combined with joint mobilization improved the cure rate[OR=2.84,95%CI(2.19,3.70),P<0.001],TSA results revealed that no further tests were needed to verify;(3)warming acupuncture combined with joint mobilization reduced the number of treatments required for healing[MD=-7.49,95%CI(-9.75,-5.23),P<0.001],TSA results confirmed the results of the meta-analysis;(4)in comparing visual analog scale scores before and after treatment,meta-analysis result showed that:SMD=-2.01,95%CI(-2.37,-1.65),P<0.001,the difference was statistically significant,TSA results confirmed the results of the meta-analysis.Conclusion:Warming acupuncture combined with joint mobilization had a significant effect on the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis.展开更多

Purpose:To investigate and compare the rehabilitation effects of Taichi exercise and functional exercise on scapulohumeral periarthritis.Method:Eighty patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis from a community in Jin...Purpose:To investigate and compare the rehabilitation effects of Taichi exercise and functional exercise on scapulohumeral periarthritis.Method:Eighty patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis from a community in Jingzhou,Hubei,China,were randomly selected from January to June 2016.They were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group.On the basis of routine treatment and nursing,the experimental group(40 patients)adopted the Taichi exercise treatment while the control group(40 patients)adopted the functional exercise treatment.In the end,the shoulder joint pain degree changes,and the improvement of shoulder joint movements and the myoelectricity and myodynamia on the surfaces of the shoulder muscle group of the two groups were tested and measured.Result:The scoring difference of shoulder joint pain between the experimental group and the control group is significant,which is of statistical significance(P<0.05).Before the treatment,the difference of shoulder joint movement between the two groups isn't significant,with no statistical significance,but after the treatment,the difference is significant,which is of statistical significance(P<0.05).The myodynamia difference between the two groups after the treatment is significant,which is of statistical significance(P<0.05).The therapy efficiency of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group and the difference is significant,which is of statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of routine physical treatment,adopting Taichi exercise can increase the therapy efficiency on the patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis,can improve the blood supply and inflammation on the shoulder and improve patient's life quality.展开更多

Objective:To observe the short-and long-term clinical efficacy differences of body acupuncture and scalp acupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave and simple extracorporeal shock wave.Methods:Sixty patients ...Objective:To observe the short-and long-term clinical efficacy differences of body acupuncture and scalp acupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave and simple extracorporeal shock wave.Methods:Sixty patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group and control group,30 cases in each one.Both groups underwent basic rehabilitation training.Patients in the treatment group were treated with body acupuncture and scalp acupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave.Yújì(鱼际 LU10),Hégǔ(合谷L14),Zhōngzhǔ(中渚TE3),Hòuxī(后溪SI3).There were three needles for the scalp acupuncture with the first between Shéntíng(神庭 GV24)and Yìntáng(印堂 EX-HN3),and the other two straightly through the inner canthus and parallel to the first needle.Shock wave treatment was intensively applied in some pressure points around shoulder joint.The control group used the same shock wave therapy as the treatment group.Both groups were all treated once a day,6 times a week.Patients were treated for one course which lasted for 4 weeks.VAS score,the Constant-Murley score and the HAMA(the Hamilton Anxiety Scale)are as therapeutic effect index.30 days telephone investigation followed-up after the treatment course was evaluated.Results:Totally 28 cases completed the clinical observation in the treatment group,and 29 cases in the control group.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 85.7%(24/28),which was higher than 69.0%(20/29)of the control group(P<0.05).VAS score:There were significant statistical differences before and after the treatment in the two groups(the treatment group:6.67 ± 1.43 vs 3.47 ± 1.35,the control group:7.57 ± 1.31 vs 5.36 ± 1.45,both P<0.05).There were significant statistical differences before the treatment and at the follow-up in the two groups(the treatment group:6.67 ± 1.43 vs2.68±0.81,the control group:7.57±1.31 vs 4.56±1.35,both P<0.05).The VAS scores of the treatment group after treatment and at the follow-up were respectively lower than those of the control group(both P<0.05).Shoulder joints activity score:There were significant statistical differences before and after the treatment in the two groups(the treatment group:54.65±1.65 vs 65.54±2.19,the control group:54.32 ± 2.31 vs 61.01 ± 0.95,both P<0.05).There were significant statistical differences before treatment and at follow-up in the two groups(the treatment group:54.65 ± 1.65 vs 66.18± 1.35,the control group:54.32 ± 2.31 vs 62.11 ± 1.49,both P<0.05).The shoulder activity scores of the treatment group after treatment and at follow-up were respectively higher than those of the control group(both P<0.05).HAMA scores:There were singificant statistical differences before and after treatment in the two groups(the treatment group:16.83 ± 1.56 vs 13.26 ± 2.36,the control group:17.04 ± 1.84 vs 15.23 ±3.17,both P<0.05).There were significant statistical differences before treatment and at follow-up in the two groups(the treatment group:16.83 ± 1.56 vs 11.01 ± 3.20,the control group:17.04 ± 1.84 vs 13.68 ± 2.49,both P<0.05).The HAMA scores of the treatment group after treatment and at follow-up were lower than those of the control group(both P<0.05).Conclusion:Body acupuncture and scalp acupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave can relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis,ease anxiety and improve daily life activities.展开更多

Methods:A total of 60 SP cases were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 in each group. Cases in the treatment group were treated with Hegu needling at Ashi points and normal needling at other local points. Cases in the control group were treated with normal needling at local points alone. The therapeutic efficacy was then evaluated and analyzed using short-form of McGill pain questionnaire (SF-MPQ) and Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) shoulder scoring system. Results:Hegu needling at Ashi points can substantially alleviate pain in patients with adhesive SP, showing a statistically significant difference when compared with the control group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). In addition, cases in the treatment group obtained better effects in abductor muscle strength, endurance, arm raising, internal rotation, external rotation, activities of daily living (ADL) and joint stability than those in the control group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Methods: In this study, 120 patients with periarthritis of shoulder who were admitted to the department of orthopedics of the second affiliated hospital of Heilongjiang university of traditional Chinese medicine from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected, and the patients were divided into warm acupuncture group, massage group, combined treatment group and control group with a random number table, with 30 patients in each group. Warm acupuncture and moxibustion group received 4 weeks of warm acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, massage group received 4 weeks of massage treatment, patients in the combined treatment group received 4 weeks of warm acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, patients in the control group received 4 weeks of ultrashort wave combined plaster treatment. The use of ibuprofen, VAS score, Melle score, TCM syndrome score and serum inflammatory factors before and after treatment were analyzed and compared in each group of patients to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Results:shoulder joint pain and activity limitation were significantly improved in each group, VAS score, Melle score, TCM syndrome score and serum inflammatory factor levels were significantly decreased compared with before treatment (P < 0.05), and the improvement in the combined treatment group was significantly better than that in other groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Warm acupuncture combined with manipulation can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of periarthritis of shoulder, improve the mobility of shoulder joint, and inhibit the internal inflammatory response, which is significantly better than using warm acupuncture or manipulation alone and conventional physical therapy.展开更多
Objective:To observe and compare the therapeutic effect on shoulder periarthritis between Fu’s subcutaneous needling(FSN)and electroacupuncture(EA).Methods:A total of 68 patients with periarthritis of shoulder were d...Objective:To observe and compare the therapeutic effect on shoulder periarthritis between Fu’s subcutaneous needling(FSN)and electroacupuncture(EA).Methods:A total of 68 patients with periarthritis of shoulder were divided into a FSN group and an EA group according to the random number table,34 cases in each one.In the FSN group,FSN was adopted,once every two days,totally for 10 times.In the EA group,EA was used once daily,consecutively for 20 times.Shoulder pain score and shoulder function score(Constant-Murley score)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The clinical therapeutic effect was analyzed and evaluated statistically.Results:After 20-day treatment,shoulder pain score was reduced obviously as compared with that before treatment in the patients of either group(both P<0.01).After treatment,shoulder pain score in the FSN group was lower significantly than that in the EA group(P<0.01).In 20 days of treatment,CMS was improved obviously as compared with that before treatment in the patients of both groups(both P<0.01)and CMS in the FSN group was higher significantly than that in the EA group after treatment(P<0.01).The effective rate was 94.11%in the FSN group and was 91.17%in the EA group.The remarkably effective rate was 73.52%in the FSN group,significantly higher than 20.58%in the EA group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Both FSN and EA are effective in treatment of periarthritis of shoulder,but FSN obtains a much higher remarkably effective rate in treatment of periarthritis of shoulder and its effects for relieving shoulder pain and improving shoulder function are superior to EA.Because of its effective treatment and simple operation,FSN deserves to be promoted in clinical practice for periarthritis of shoulder.展开更多
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of fire needle combined with filiform needle for different clinical stage frozen shoulders,and to choose the best treatment opportunity for clinical treatment of frozen shoul...Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of fire needle combined with filiform needle for different clinical stage frozen shoulders,and to choose the best treatment opportunity for clinical treatment of frozen shoulder.Methods:120 patients with frozen shoulders who met the inclusion criteria were numbered according to the visiting order.They were randomized into control group(60 cases)and treatment group(60 cases)according to the random number table.Both groups were treated with filiform needles once every other day and 3 times a week,and a course of treatment included 6 times and 2 courses were taken.The treatment group was treated by applying a fire needling point bloodletting on the local tender points once a week.Jiānyú(肩髃 LI 15),Jiānliáo(肩髎 TE 14),Jiānzhēn(肩贞 SI 9),Tiáokǒu(条口 ST 38),and local tender points were taken according to different meridian pains.The clinical efficacy of the frozen shoulder patients in the two groups in different clinical stages was compared.The evaluation indicators were scores of pain,joint activity range and activities of daily living,as well as clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine.Results:After treatment,the total scores of hundred-mark five-grade in both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(Treatment group82.02 ± 14.23 vs 43.37 ± 22.10,Control group 66.80 ± 18.98 vs 42.67 ± 23.03,both P<0.01),and the total score of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01).The hundred-mark five-grade assessment scores after treatment in the treatment group during the frozen stage were significantly higher than the control group(77.2± 14.40 vs 68.43 ± 16.94,P<0.01);as to the clinical efficacy,the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(91.67% vs 76.67%,P<0.01);The total effective rate of the control group in the acute stage and functional recovery stage was compared with the frozen stage,and the difference was statistically significant(100% vs 60%,P<0.01),and there was no significant difference between each phase of the treatment group(P>0.05).Conclusions:Single filiform therapy and the therapy of filiform needle combined with fire needle were effective in treating frozen shoulder patients,and the effect of the filiform needle combined with fire needle was significantly better than single filiform needle.The effect of fire needle combined with filiform needle on the frozen shoulder in frozen stage was significantly better than single filiform needle.展开更多

In control group II there were 23 cas-es, who received needling Tiaokou point (ST 38)-through-Chengshan (BL 57) with the abovementioned stainless-steel filiform, one of ancient and modern experimental methods, the total ef-fecive rate was 82. 6%, which was compared with that in the treatment group, indicating X^2=8.492, P【0. 01. It is suggested that the therapeutic effect in the treatment group was superior tothat in the control group I and significantly superior to that in the control group II.

Statistical analysis shows a significant difference (P < 0. 1 ) between the two groups in the cure plus markedly effecive rate.
文摘Purpose:To investigate and compare the rehabilitation effects of Taichi exercise and functional exercise on scapulohumeral periarthritis.Method:Eighty patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis from a community in Jingzhou,Hubei,China,were randomly selected from January to June 2016.They were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group.On the basis of routine treatment and nursing,the experimental group(40 patients)adopted the Taichi exercise treatment while the control group(40 patients)adopted the functional exercise treatment.In the end,the shoulder joint pain degree changes,and the improvement of shoulder joint movements and the myoelectricity and myodynamia on the surfaces of the shoulder muscle group of the two groups were tested and measured.Result:The scoring difference of shoulder joint pain between the experimental group and the control group is significant,which is of statistical significance(P<0.05).Before the treatment,the difference of shoulder joint movement between the two groups isn't significant,with no statistical significance,but after the treatment,the difference is significant,which is of statistical significance(P<0.05).The myodynamia difference between the two groups after the treatment is significant,which is of statistical significance(P<0.05).The therapy efficiency of the experimental group is higher than that of the control group and the difference is significant,which is of statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of routine physical treatment,adopting Taichi exercise can increase the therapy efficiency on the patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis,can improve the blood supply and inflammation on the shoulder and improve patient's life quality.
文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of bee venom acupuncture in humeroscapularis(PHS)patients.METHODS:One hundred and twenty patients diagnosed with PHS were assigned into four groups:BV1(0.01 mg/kg),BV2(0.005 mg/kg),BV3(0.0025 mg/kg),and control group(vitamin B1 plus novocain 3%injection)with 15 d of treatment.The outcomes of the study including visual analogue scale(VAS)score andβ-endorphin,inflammatory cytokines including interleukin-10(IL-10),IL-1βand tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α)and shoulder function score were assessed at baseline,after 10 and 15 d of treatment.RESULTS:All four groups reported statistically significant improvement in VAS score,motion range,and shoulder function score(P<0.01),only the BV3 group showed significant increase of anti-inflammatory(IL-10)and decrease of pro-inflammatory(IL-1β,TNF-α)cytokines after treatment(P<0.05).The BV3 group presented a significant difference between all outcomes compared to the control and other groups.CONCLUSION:BV3 groups showed better recovery including reduced pain,improved motor function and normalized inflammatory cytokines than current therapy used in Vietnam and other groups.

文摘Objective:To observe the short-and long-term clinical efficacy differences of body acupuncture and scalp acupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave and simple extracorporeal shock wave.Methods:Sixty patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group and control group,30 cases in each one.Both groups underwent basic rehabilitation training.Patients in the treatment group were treated with body acupuncture and scalp acupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave.Yújì(鱼际 LU10),Hégǔ(合谷L14),Zhōngzhǔ(中渚TE3),Hòuxī(后溪SI3).There were three needles for the scalp acupuncture with the first between Shéntíng(神庭 GV24)and Yìntáng(印堂 EX-HN3),and the other two straightly through the inner canthus and parallel to the first needle.Shock wave treatment was intensively applied in some pressure points around shoulder joint.The control group used the same shock wave therapy as the treatment group.Both groups were all treated once a day,6 times a week.Patients were treated for one course which lasted for 4 weeks.VAS score,the Constant-Murley score and the HAMA(the Hamilton Anxiety Scale)are as therapeutic effect index.30 days telephone investigation followed-up after the treatment course was evaluated.Results:Totally 28 cases completed the clinical observation in the treatment group,and 29 cases in the control group.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 85.7%(24/28),which was higher than 69.0%(20/29)of the control group(P<0.05).VAS score:There were significant statistical differences before and after the treatment in the two groups(the treatment group:6.67 ± 1.43 vs 3.47 ± 1.35,the control group:7.57 ± 1.31 vs 5.36 ± 1.45,both P<0.05).There were significant statistical differences before the treatment and at the follow-up in the two groups(the treatment group:6.67 ± 1.43 vs2.68±0.81,the control group:7.57±1.31 vs 4.56±1.35,both P<0.05).The VAS scores of the treatment group after treatment and at the follow-up were respectively lower than those of the control group(both P<0.05).Shoulder joints activity score:There were significant statistical differences before and after the treatment in the two groups(the treatment group:54.65±1.65 vs 65.54±2.19,the control group:54.32 ± 2.31 vs 61.01 ± 0.95,both P<0.05).There were significant statistical differences before treatment and at follow-up in the two groups(the treatment group:54.65 ± 1.65 vs 66.18± 1.35,the control group:54.32 ± 2.31 vs 62.11 ± 1.49,both P<0.05).The shoulder activity scores of the treatment group after treatment and at follow-up were respectively higher than those of the control group(both P<0.05).HAMA scores:There were singificant statistical differences before and after treatment in the two groups(the treatment group:16.83 ± 1.56 vs 13.26 ± 2.36,the control group:17.04 ± 1.84 vs 15.23 ±3.17,both P<0.05).There were significant statistical differences before treatment and at follow-up in the two groups(the treatment group:16.83 ± 1.56 vs 11.01 ± 3.20,the control group:17.04 ± 1.84 vs 13.68 ± 2.49,both P<0.05).The HAMA scores of the treatment group after treatment and at follow-up were lower than those of the control group(both P<0.05).Conclusion:Body acupuncture and scalp acupuncture combined with extracorporeal shock wave can relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis,ease anxiety and improve daily life activities.

文摘Objective:To observe clinical efficacy differences of regular acupuncture at empirical acupoints combined with join valley needling at ashi point compared with simple join valley needling at ashi point for scapulohumeral periarthritis.Methods:Sixty-four patients of scapulohumeral periarthritis were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,32 cases in each one.Both groups underwent basic rehabilitation training.Patients in the observation group were treated with acupuncture at empirical acupoints combined with join valley needling at ashi point,while the patients of the control group were treated with simple join valley needling at ashi point.Both groups were all treated once a day,6 times a week.Patients were treated for one course which lasted for 4 weeks.The visual analog scale(VAS)score,the Constant-Murley score and the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)are compared between the two groups before and after the treatment,and the efficacy was evaluated after the treatment.Telephone investigation was applied as the followed-up after one month of the treatment.Results:The total effective rate in the observation group was 87.5%(28/32),and that in the control group was 71.9%(23/32),and there was statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The VAS scores,Constant-Murley scores,and HAMA scores in the patients of the observation group were lower than those of the corresponding indicators in the patients of the control group respectively,and there were statistically significant differences(all P<0.05).Conclusions:Compared with simple join valley needling at ashi point,regular acupuncture at empirical acupoints combined with join valley needling at ashi point can relieve the clinical symptoms of patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis,attenuate pains,ease anxiety and improve daily life activities better.

文摘Objective:To observe the immediate effects of Hegu needling at Ashi points in patients with adhesive scapulohumeral periarthritis (SP). Methods:A total of 60 SP cases were randomized into a treatment group and a control group, 30 in each group. Cases in the treatment group were treated with Hegu needling at Ashi points and normal needling at other local points. Cases in the control group were treated with normal needling at local points alone. The therapeutic efficacy was then evaluated and analyzed using short-form of McGill pain questionnaire (SF-MPQ) and Japanese Orthopaedic Association (JOA) shoulder scoring system. Results:Hegu needling at Ashi points can substantially alleviate pain in patients with adhesive SP, showing a statistically significant difference when compared with the control group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). In addition, cases in the treatment group obtained better effects in abductor muscle strength, endurance, arm raising, internal rotation, external rotation, activities of daily living (ADL) and joint stability than those in the control group (P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusion:Hegu needling at Ashi points is effective for adhesive SP.

文摘Objective: To analyze the clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture and moxibustion combined with manipulation in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder. Methods: In this study, 120 patients with periarthritis of shoulder who were admitted to the department of orthopedics of the second affiliated hospital of Heilongjiang university of traditional Chinese medicine from June 2018 to June 2019 were selected, and the patients were divided into warm acupuncture group, massage group, combined treatment group and control group with a random number table, with 30 patients in each group. Warm acupuncture and moxibustion group received 4 weeks of warm acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, massage group received 4 weeks of massage treatment, patients in the combined treatment group received 4 weeks of warm acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, patients in the control group received 4 weeks of ultrashort wave combined plaster treatment. The use of ibuprofen, VAS score, Melle score, TCM syndrome score and serum inflammatory factors before and after treatment were analyzed and compared in each group of patients to evaluate the clinical efficacy. Results:shoulder joint pain and activity limitation were significantly improved in each group, VAS score, Melle score, TCM syndrome score and serum inflammatory factor levels were significantly decreased compared with before treatment (P < 0.05), and the improvement in the combined treatment group was significantly better than that in other groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Warm acupuncture combined with manipulation can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of periarthritis of shoulder, improve the mobility of shoulder joint, and inhibit the internal inflammatory response, which is significantly better than using warm acupuncture or manipulation alone and conventional physical therapy.

文摘Objective:To observe and compare the therapeutic effect on shoulder periarthritis between Fu’s subcutaneous needling(FSN)and electroacupuncture(EA).Methods:A total of 68 patients with periarthritis of shoulder were divided into a FSN group and an EA group according to the random number table,34 cases in each one.In the FSN group,FSN was adopted,once every two days,totally for 10 times.In the EA group,EA was used once daily,consecutively for 20 times.Shoulder pain score and shoulder function score(Constant-Murley score)before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The clinical therapeutic effect was analyzed and evaluated statistically.Results:After 20-day treatment,shoulder pain score was reduced obviously as compared with that before treatment in the patients of either group(both P<0.01).After treatment,shoulder pain score in the FSN group was lower significantly than that in the EA group(P<0.01).In 20 days of treatment,CMS was improved obviously as compared with that before treatment in the patients of both groups(both P<0.01)and CMS in the FSN group was higher significantly than that in the EA group after treatment(P<0.01).The effective rate was 94.11%in the FSN group and was 91.17%in the EA group.The remarkably effective rate was 73.52%in the FSN group,significantly higher than 20.58%in the EA group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Both FSN and EA are effective in treatment of periarthritis of shoulder,but FSN obtains a much higher remarkably effective rate in treatment of periarthritis of shoulder and its effects for relieving shoulder pain and improving shoulder function are superior to EA.Because of its effective treatment and simple operation,FSN deserves to be promoted in clinical practice for periarthritis of shoulder.
文摘Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of fire needle combined with filiform needle for different clinical stage frozen shoulders,and to choose the best treatment opportunity for clinical treatment of frozen shoulder.Methods:120 patients with frozen shoulders who met the inclusion criteria were numbered according to the visiting order.They were randomized into control group(60 cases)and treatment group(60 cases)according to the random number table.Both groups were treated with filiform needles once every other day and 3 times a week,and a course of treatment included 6 times and 2 courses were taken.The treatment group was treated by applying a fire needling point bloodletting on the local tender points once a week.Jiānyú(肩髃 LI 15),Jiānliáo(肩髎 TE 14),Jiānzhēn(肩贞 SI 9),Tiáokǒu(条口 ST 38),and local tender points were taken according to different meridian pains.The clinical efficacy of the frozen shoulder patients in the two groups in different clinical stages was compared.The evaluation indicators were scores of pain,joint activity range and activities of daily living,as well as clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine.Results:After treatment,the total scores of hundred-mark five-grade in both groups were significantly higher than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(Treatment group82.02 ± 14.23 vs 43.37 ± 22.10,Control group 66.80 ± 18.98 vs 42.67 ± 23.03,both P<0.01),and the total score of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01).The hundred-mark five-grade assessment scores after treatment in the treatment group during the frozen stage were significantly higher than the control group(77.2± 14.40 vs 68.43 ± 16.94,P<0.01);as to the clinical efficacy,the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(91.67% vs 76.67%,P<0.01);The total effective rate of the control group in the acute stage and functional recovery stage was compared with the frozen stage,and the difference was statistically significant(100% vs 60%,P<0.01),and there was no significant difference between each phase of the treatment group(P>0.05).Conclusions:Single filiform therapy and the therapy of filiform needle combined with fire needle were effective in treating frozen shoulder patients,and the effect of the filiform needle combined with fire needle was significantly better than single filiform needle.The effect of fire needle combined with filiform needle on the frozen shoulder in frozen stage was significantly better than single filiform needle.
