This study aims to investigate the potential factors affecting hydraulic fracturing of inter-salt oil shale reservoirs in the Qianjiang Depression,China.Using the inter-salt shale samples,the re-crystallization seepag...This study aims to investigate the potential factors affecting hydraulic fracturing of inter-salt oil shale reservoirs in the Qianjiang Depression,China.Using the inter-salt shale samples,the re-crystallization seepage tests,rock mechanical tests under high temperature and pressure,salt rock creep tests,and direct shear tests were conducted.The testing results suggest several major factors that affect hydraulic fracturing effects in the end.First,the seepage of reservoir and fracturing fluid through hydraulic frac-tures leads to salt dissolution and crystallization,reducing the effective seepage area of fractures.Second,the salt crystal may block the pore throats or micro fractures after brine invades the shale,decreasing the overall permeability.Third,the low strength and obvious plasticity of inter-salt shale and the strong creep characteristics of salt rock raise difficulties for proppant to effectively support fracture walls,thereby sharply narrowing the hydraulic fracture width.Lastly,the weak interfaces(bedding planes and lithology interfaces)in inter-salt oil shale reservoirs restrict the height of hydraulic fractures,resulting in the disconnection of seepage channels between multiple inter-salt shale reservoirs.Thus,several factors together reduce reservoir permeability,weaken the fluid flow capacity in the fracture,narrow the fracture width,and limit the effective stimulation volume,resulting in weaken the effect hydraulic fracturing.展开更多

Here the establishment of eco-friendly land use model in mountainous area,will pione...Accompanying the development of social economy,the land use model of mountainous area,typically eco-weak area,is changing gradually. Here the establishment of eco-friendly land use model in mountainous area,will pioneer the model of sustainable development in that area. Concerning Qianjiang District of Chongqing Municipality,huge change of land use model,mainly embodied in the unceasing increase of construction land and gradual decrease of agricultural use land,has taken place in recent years. To explore the eco-friendly land use model in mountainous area,Qianjiang District was chosen as the study object in the present study. Via analyzing the changes in land use model,we found that related eco-environment restrictive factors mainly regional climatic change,soil texture,hydrological environment as well as soil erosion and land degradation,etc. And based on these results,we further analyzed the effect of land use change on eco-environment and the factors restricting the maintenance of eco-environment and regional development,finally put forward the counter measures for balancing land use and co-environment in mountainous area. The results will be important for the development of social economy and eco-system construction in Qianjiang District.展开更多

This study dealt with the rhythmic Qian 3410 of the intersalt shale series in the Qianjiang Depression,in which the geological condition for oil accumulation in the rhythmic shale was investigated by using the basic d...This study dealt with the rhythmic Qian 3410 of the intersalt shale series in the Qianjiang Depression,in which the geological condition for oil accumulation in the rhythmic shale was investigated by using the basic drilling,core and well logging data,as well as data obtained from the thin section identification,SEM,mercury injection,X-ray diffraction and rock freezing heat analyses.The study result indicated that:1)the intersalt shale series are characterized by TOC in a range of 0.35%-6.38%(averaging 3.19%),Types I and II1 organic matter,and from immature to mature oil,indicative of a potential for generating a great volume of immature oil;2)in the target layer,mineral compositions are complicated,which can divide into argillaceous dolomite facies,argillaceous limestone facies,dolomitic mudstone facies,and calcium-mirabilite-filling dolomitic mudstone facies;and 3)of them,the argillaceous dolomite facies is the most contributory,with reservoir spaces consisting of intergranular pores as dominant,as well as rare dissolution pores and seams.It is characterized by high organic abundance(4.23%-6.38%),high content of brittle mineral(50%-71%),low content of clay mineral(18%-33%),high porosity(10.8%-26.3%)and good oil-bearing properties(S1 distributed in 3.48-5.64 mg/g,and S1/TOC value in a range of 348-564 oil mg/g).Therefore,the argillaceous dolomite facies was considered the key target series to be explored for the intersalt shale oil in the study area in the coming days.展开更多
