Through excavation in 2000, the Gansu Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology discovered here 71 tombs of the Warring States period to Song-Yuan times. The present paper reports six representative graves of the 37 tombs of the Warring States, Qin and Han periods. In shape they belong to the earth-pit-cum-cave, earth-pit and ramping-passaged earth-pit types. In date they can be divided into three phases: the late Warring States period, the Qin to the beginning of Western Han, and the early Western Han.
