Therefore, a novel DMF with a offset-feed bended coupling structure and a stepped-impedance dual- mode resonator is proposed for coupling enhancement and spurious response suppression. Based on the analysis of the change of spur frequencies and the current distribution of spur resonant modes, all spurs near passband of the cascaded DMF can be fully suppressed by optimizing the structure parameters of parasite resonators, which bene- fits from the inherent well-controlled transmission zeros. Experimental results show that the proposed DMF ex- hibits lower insertion loss ,much sharper rate of cutoff and wider spur-free stop band compared with conventional DMF. The tooth stiffness in model notonly has a relation with time, as many prior studies presented, but, more important, with involutecontact ratio (ICR) as well. The ICR embodies its impact on the spur gear's dynamic performancethrough changing the proportion of tooth stiffness when there are n+1 teeth in contact to toothstiffness when there are n teeth in contact. A couple of curves about impact of ICR on the gear'sdynamic performance are presented, and they clearly demonstrate that the model can accuratelydescribe the effects of ICR on dynamic transmission error. Finally, some conclusions useful toreduce vibration and noise of gear-pair are proposed.展开更多

In order to analyze the influence of the flow field on pollutant transport, based on a compressive volume of fluid (VOF) scheme, the three-dimensional transient compressive pollutant transport model (CPTM) and the cubic equation (CE) bounded differencing scheme were developed. For the calibration and validation of CPTM, laboratory experiments were carried out in a flume with a non-submerged spur dike. The spur dike was angled at 60°, 90°, and 120° from the upstream direction. The simulation results agreed with the experimental results. The simulations and experiments showed that the distribution of pollutant concentration was determined by circumfluence and the main flow. Concentration decay in the circumfluenee zone was slower than that in the main flow. Downstream of the spur dike, the concentration fluctuation became intensive with the increase of spur dike angle.展开更多

Through establishing a generalized physical model at a bifurcated estuary and conducting current tests under the joint action of runoff and tide, the influence of the spur dike length on current exchange between channel and shoal is analyzed. Results show that when the spur dike length reaches a certain value, the direction of the flow velocity shear front between the channel and shoal will change. The longer the spur dike, the larger the transverse fluctuating velocity at the peak of flood in the channel shoal exchange area, while the transport of the transverse hydrodynamics is obvious in the process of flood. There is an optimum length of spur dike when the shear stress in the channel and the longitudinal velocity in flood and ebb reach the maximum, and the flow velocity will decrease when the spur dike length is smaller or larger than the optimum. For a certain length of spur dike, the larger the channel shoal elevation difference, the larger the peak longitudinal flow velocity in the middle of the navigation channel in flood and ebb. However, the transverse flow velocity will first decrease and then increase. The transverse transportation is obvious when the channel shoal elevation difference increases.展开更多

This work presented a numerical simulation of flow field and three-dimensional velocity around a T-shaped spur dike located in bend using SSIIM model. The main objective of this work is to investigate the three-dimensional velocities and streamlines at transverse and longitudinal sections and plan views around the T-shaped spur dike in different submergence ratios(0, 5%, 15%, 25% and 50%). It is concluded that by increasing the submergence ratio from 5% to 50%, the maximum of scour is reduced; the maximum of longitudinal velocity increases by 7.7% and occurs at the water surface in spur dike axis. Near the bed, the maximum of vertical velocity occurs at the end of spur wing. By analyzing the streamlines at transverse sections, the followings were deduced for different submergence ratios: different dimensions and different positions of vortices around the spur dike.展开更多

Due to the great importance of the final step to gear forming and its complication with interactive factors, this work aims at examining the influence of key factors on the final step in cold orbital forging of a spur bevel gear. Using the finite element(FE) method and control variate method, the influence rules of four key factors, rotation velocity of the upper tool, n, feeding velocity of the lower tool, v, tilted angle of the upper tool, γ, friction factor between the tools and the billet, m, on the geometry and the deformation inhomogeneity of the cold orbital forged gear are thoroughly clarified. The hybrid PLL is implemented in a 0.18-μm complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) process with a total die area of 1.4×0.46 mm2. 文摘Widely applied in maintaining estuarial waterway depth, the spur dike has played an important role in currents and sediment exchange between channel and shoal and sediment back-silting in the channel. The transverse transportation is obvious when the channel shoal elevation difference increases.

文摘Variations of nectar spur length allow pollinators to utilize resources in novel ways, leading to the different selective pressures on spurs and allowing taxa to diversify. However, the mechanisms underlying spur length variation remain unclear.Interspecific comparisons of spur length suggest that both cell division and anisotropic expansion could explain the changes of spur length, and that hormone-related genes contribute to the process of spur formation. In contrast, little is known about intraspecific spur length variation. In Aquilegia rockii, spur length varies strikingly, ranging from 1 mm to 18 mm.To examine the potential mechanisms underlying spur length variation in A.rockii,we observed cell morphology and analyzed RNA-seq of short-and long-spurred flowers.Scanning electron microscopy revealed that at two positions on spurs there were no differences in either cell density or cell anisotropy between short-and long-spurred flowers, suggesting that in A.rockii changes in cell number may explain variations in spur length. In addition,we screened transcriptomes of short-and long-spurred flowers for differentially expressed genes;this screen identified several genes linked to cell division(e.g.,F-box,CDKB2-2,and LST8),a finding which is consistent with our analysis of the cellular morphology of spurs. However,we did not find any highly expressed genes involved in the hormone pathway in long-spurred flowers. In contrast to previous hypotheses that anisotropic cell expansion leads to interspecific spur variation in Aquilegia, our results suggest that cell number changes and related genes are mainly responsible for spur length variations of A.rockii.Furthermore,the underlying mechanisms of similar floral traits in morphology may be quite different, enriching our understanding of the mechanisms of flower diversity in angiosperms.
文摘Finding a basis of unification for the modeling of mechatronic systems is the search subject of several works. This paper is a part of a general research designed to the application of topology as a new approach for the modeling of mechatronic systems.Particularly, the modeling of a one stage spur gear transmission using a topological approach is tackled. This approach is based on the concepts of topological collections and transformations and implemented using the MGS(modeling of general systems)language. The topological collections are used to specify the interconnection laws of the one stage spur gear transmission and the transformations are used to specify the local behavior laws of its different components. In order to validate this approach, simulation results are presented and compared with those obtained with MODELICA language using Dymola solver.Since good results are achieved, this approach might be used as a basis of unification for the modeling of mechatronic systems.
文摘Spur dykes also known as Groynes are often used to either divert or attract the flow from the main structure to safeguard their life. Those structures may be bridge piers, abutments or any similar hydraulics structures.Spur dykes are also used to save the cutting of banks on concave side of stream.Lots of work have been done in recent past on spur dykes by many investigators in which various hydraulic and geometrical parameters of spur dykes such as discharge, sediment size, flow velocity, shear stress, spur dykes shape, size and submergence etc.are studied in detail. But mostly all the studies were pointed out in straight open channels.Very few studies were done in curved channel and only their similar effects were studied. In present thesis main emphasis is given to study the effect of orientation and location of spur dykes in meandering channel on the bed of downstream side.In the present study experimental work has been carried out in 80°bend and constant discharge(Q=4.5 l/s)is allowed to pass in channel without spur dyke.It is found that maximum scouring occurs at angular displacementθ=60°to 80°in the vicinity of outer bank.To minimize this scouring, spur dyke has been installed at angular displacementθ=20°,40°&60°by changing the dyke angleα=60°,90°&120°respectively.It is found that scouring atθ=60°is reduced by installing spur dyke at angular displacementθ=40°which is oriented atα=60°and scouring atθ=80°is reduced by installing spur dyke at angular displacementθ=60°which is oriented atα=60°.

文摘We propose a novel hybrid phase-locked loop (PLL) architecture for overcoming the trade-off between fast locking time and low spur. To reduce the settling time and meanwhile suppress the reference spurs, we employ a wide-band single-path PLL and a narrow-band dual-path PLL in a transient state and a steady state, respectively, by changing the loop bandwidth according to the gain of voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) and the resister of the loop filter. The hybrid PLL is implemented in a 0.18-μm complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) process with a total die area of 1.4×0.46 mm2. The measured results exhibit a reference spur level of lower than -73 dB with a reference frequency of 10 MHz and a settling time of 20 μs with 40 MHz frequency jump at 2 GHz. The total power consumption of the hybrid PLL is less than 27 mW with a supply voltage of 1.8 V.

文摘The effects of forging parameters on the deformation and microstructure distributions of as-forged straight spur gears wereinvestigated by finite element(FE)simulation and statistical analysis method.Spur gear forging using the movable cavity die designwas investigated by integrating the FE method with the microstructure evolution models for AZ31B magnesium alloys. The requiredinputs such as flow stress curves and microstructure evolution models, were obtained through the Gleeble thermal mechanical testingand quantitative metallography analysis method.Numerical simulation and experimental examination confirm that both thedeformation and microstructure are non-uniformly distributed in the as-forged gears.Decreasing deformation temperature orincreasing strain rate is beneficial to obtaining fine-grained microstructure but is harmful to the uniformity in deformation ormicrostructure. The level of the non-uniformity results from the complex shape of gear and the friction between the billet and dies, which is closely associated with the characteristics of flow stress curve.
文摘The regular position of radioloops in the sky and their angular dimensions are described by an equation with a single parameter 2 π/к. Thus, for loops I-IV к takes values 3, 4, 6 and 9 within average random observational errors;and the relative accuracy is only few percent. The parameter form is similar to the wavelength, expressed via the wave number к. It is an argument for the hypothesis of wave nature of spurs. Other arguments are considered as well.

文摘Amplitude quantization is one of the main sources of spurious noise frequencies in Direct Digital Frequency Synthesizers (DDFSs), which affect their application to many wireless telecommu- nication systems. In this paper, two different kinds of spurious signals due to amplitude quantization in DDFSs are exactly formulated in the time domain and detailedly compared in the frequency do- main, and the effects of the DDFS parameter variations on the spurious performance are thoroughly studied. Then the spectral properties and power levels of the amplitude-quantization spurs in the absence of phase-accumulator truncation are emphatically analyzed by waveform estimation and computer simulation, and several important conclusions are derived which can provide theoretical support for parameter choice and spurious performance evaluation in the application of DDFSs.
