Objective:To build a set of teaching staff construction and teaching quality monitoring system suitable for clinical practice teaching in affiliated hospitals of medical colleges,achieve continuous improvement of clinical education and teaching level,and ensure the quality of medical education talent cultivation.Methods:A modern clinical practice teaching quality monitoring system is constructed based on organizational structure construction,teaching staff system construction,quality control system construction,and information platform construction,combined with external audit and evaluation.Results:The hospital has established a Faculty Development and Teaching Evaluation Office specifically responsible for the cultivation of clinical teachers and the evaluation and supervision of teaching quality.A relatively complete teacher construction and teaching quality monitoring system has also been established for clinical practice teaching,thus achieving integration with the school’s quality control system in terms of management mechanism.At the same time,a set of teaching quality control mode based on the“Internet+”platform has been created by means of informatization.At present,this mode has won three national computer software copyrights and two second prizes for school-level teaching achievements.Conclusion:Through five years of practice,an“Internet+”teaching quality evaluation and monitoring system with the characteristics of teaching hospitals affiliated to local medical colleges has been established.In order to further standardize the training system of clinical teachers in affiliated hospitals,achieve self-monitoring and self-improvement in terms of teaching quality,and ensure the continuous improvement of clinical teaching quality,we will continue to promote the development of clinical teachers with quality and excellence,enrich the main team of quality monitoring,guide the transformation of the education mode from being“centered on teachers”to being“centered on students,”and realize the integration of internal and external quality monitoring systems. 展开更多

This study aims to explore the relationship between the teaching environment and teaching quality in Inner Mongolia universities,analyze the characteristics and current situation of the teaching environment,and provide recommendations for improvement.Through a detailed analysis of the components,characteristics,and existing issues and challenges of the teaching environment,it is found that the teaching environment has an important impact on the teaching quality.It is suggested to increase investment in infrastructure,optimize the structure of the teaching staff,rationally allocate educational resources,and promote the balanced development of disciplines.At the same time,policy recommendations were put forward,including the establishment of a teaching evaluation system,strengthening teacher training and development,and promoting school-enterprise cooperation to improve the quality of teaching.Future research directions may focus on areas such as educational technology development,policy-level influences,and school management models to further expand our understanding of the relationship between teaching environment and teaching quality. 展开更多

Crowdsourcing is widely used in various fields to collect goods and services from large participants.Evaluating teaching quality by collecting feedback from experts or students after class is not only delayed but also not accurate.In this paper,we present a crowdsourcing-based framework to evaluate teaching quality in the classroom using a weighted average operator to aggregate information from students’questionnaires described by linguistic 2-tuple terms.Then we define crowd grade based on similarity degree to distinguish contribution from different students and minimize the abnormal students’impact on the evaluation.The crowd grade would be updated at the end of each feedback so it can guarantee the evaluation accurately.Moreover,a simulated case is shown to illustrate how to apply this framework to assess teaching quality in the classroom.Finally,we developed a prototype and carried out some experiments on a series of real questionnaires and two sets of modified data.The results show that teachers can locate the weak points of teaching and furthermore to identify the abnormal students to improve the teaching quality.Meanwhile,our approach provides a strong tolerance for the abnormal student to make the evaluation more accurate. 展开更多

With the promulgation of the National Standard for the Teaching Quality of Undergraduate Majors in Ordinary Colleges and Universities, the state has made clear regulations on the standard for the cultivation of Chinese pharmacy talents. Based on their own actual conditions, major colleges and universities have implemented different talent training modes, including talent training modes of running talent classes, "2+1+1", "Chinese Medicine Research Practice Class", employment-oriented professional talent training mode, three-level three-type diversified talent training mode, and talent training mode oriented with adapting to the characteristics of ethnic regions. Various talent training modes have different training objectives, and corresponding training programs are formulated to meet the requirements of the National Standard for the Teaching Quality of Undergraduate Majors in Ordinary Colleges and Universities. In addition, according to the notice on Solidly Promoting Labor Education into the "National Standard for the Teaching Quality of Undergraduate Majors in Ordinary Colleges and Universities" issued by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, the introduction of labor education to the teaching of Chinese pharmacy majors will be a trend, and Chinese pharmacy professionals are required to achieve comprehensive and coordinated development of morality, intelligence, physique, beauty, and labor. Xindi Applied Piano Pedagogy(XAPP)is one of the key achievements of Chinese music education reform in recent years,reflecting the booming of piano education in China.Twenty years after its establishment,the pedagogy has been widely accepted by society.Based on the PDCA(plan-do-check-act)cycle,the paper studies XAPP in relation to teaching quality management,hoping to achieve quality teaching results by improving teaching models and quality.In order to investigate the XAPP teaching process,a closed-loop management on XAPP’s teaching quality is formed,and the questions are divided into different modules:teaching team building,curriculum design,course in effect,teaching materials selection,teacher assessment and rectification,customer satisfaction survey,as well as teaching evaluation and feedback.The application of the PDCA cycle in XAPP’s teaching quality management is then analyzed,with an aim to optimize applied piano teaching management and improve XAPP’s teaching system,curriculum design,teaching materials,and theoretical framework.This paper also studies XAPP from a management perspective,which not only promotes the development of music education,but also expands the research field of music education management. 展开更多

Factors influencing discharge readiness among patients with mild-to-moderate ischemic stroke:a cross-sectional study

Objective:To describe discharge readiness and determine whether self-efficacy,social support,and the quality of discharge teaching can predict discharge readiness among patients with mild-to-moderate ischemic stroke.Methods:A total of 120 patients with mild-to-moderate ischemic stroke were recruited using simple random sampling.Five instruments,namely,the Demographic Data Questionnaire,the Chinese version of the Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale(RHDS_C),the SelfEfficacy for Managing Chronic Disease 6-Item Scale(SES6),the Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS),and the Quality of Discharge Teaching Scale(QDTS),were used for data collection.Descriptive statistics and standard multiple linear regression were used for data analysis.Results:The mean score of discharge readiness among patients with mild-to-moderate ischemic stroke was at a moderate level(M=7.6,SD=0.92),and 75.8%of the participants felt ready for discharge.Standard multiple linear regression revealed that selfefficacy(β=0.62,P<0.001)and the quality of discharge teaching(β=0.28,P<0.001)were the influencing factors.However,social support could not predict discharge readiness significantly.All the factors combined explained 64.9%of the variance in discharge readiness.Conclusions:Intervention programs aimed at improving self-efficacy and the quality of discharge teaching may be helpful in promoting discharge readiness in patients with mild-to-moderate ischemic stroke,especially in coping ability. 展开更多

The system gives the teacher control and the students a guide on the activities that must be carried out throughout a software project development. QualiTeam is a tool conceived to help in the challenge of providing students with concrete examples with which they can practice and clarify the topics taught in the classroom. With it, students can apply concepts that, in the initial training of a software engineer, are generally taught only at a theoretical level such as: review process, change requests, trouble reports, document version control and testing documentation management. Geography is an optional subject in the secondary schools in Nepal.This paper is an attempt to examine the challenges of using instructional materials in the geography classroom in community secondary schools in Kathmandu district of Bagmati Province.Geography teachers were selected by purposive sampling offering geography as an optional subject in secondary school.The semi structured interview method was used for data collection.The interviews were recorded on an audio recorder and transcribed.After collecting data,analysis of the data was made through the interpretations of the raw data by interpretative method.The results reveal that the challenges of using materials are non-availability of materials,laziness of the teachers,lack of skill and strategies,financial constraint,lack of appropriate materials in textbook,time constraint,lack of support from authority,lack of geography resource room etc.The remedies of the challenges of using materials are the organizing of training and workshop for teachers on how to use instructional materials,provision of funds by the authorities and government,regular supervision,the improvisation of the local materials and the provision of the various instructional materials which are necessary for teaching etc. 展开更多

Nursing discharge teaching of hospitalized postpartum women in China:A cross-sectional study

Background:Postpartum women encounter a diverse array of physiological challenges following childbirth,and they may also contend with issues such as a lack of self-care knowledge childcare knowledge,and childcare experience.This study aimed to explore the quality of discharge teaching for hospitalized postpartum women.Methods:A total of 292 parturients who gave birth in a tertiary hospital were selected using the convenience sampling method and surveyed using a general data questionnaire and discharge teaching quality scale.Results:The total score for the quality of discharge teaching was 111.95±28.64.In bivariate analysis,significant differences were identified between postpartum women with differences in postpartum complications,ambulation time,wound pain,infant health status,and infant feeding methods(p<0.05).Wound pain and infant feeding methods were significant factors in a multiple linear regression model(p<0.05).Conclusions:Nursing staff should focus on psychological nursing care and give more personalized teaching to postpartum women with severe wound pain and who bottle feed their newborns. 展开更多

In China,the university-school partnership(USP)is a community of continuous professional development(PD)for teachers,involving teacher educators who visit schools.This study explores teachers’personal factors,school working conditions,and principal leadership in order to explain differences in teachers’learning when they have participated in the training program.Using a one-group pretest-posttest design,375 teachers from 12 primary schools in Shanghai participated.Their learning performances are measured by changes in their teaching quality as evaluated by their students.Results of regression analyses show that teachers generally receive higher scores on teaching quality after the program than before.Three factors are significantly and negatively related to the changes in quality:teachers’educational level,the extent to which teachers feel emotional pressure in their profession,and the support from their school principal.Implications for school leaders and policymakers are discussed. 展开更多
