Methods A total of 2 086 cases of kidneys for transplantation from Angust 1980 to December ...Objective To summarize the experience of 20 years in using hypertonic citrate adenine(HC-A) for clinical kidney preservation. Methods A total of 2 086 cases of kidneys for transplantation from Angust 1980 to December 2000 were reported. The donors’ age ranged from 18 to 49 years. The cadaveric kidneys were harvested with en-bloc method, and were perfused via renal arteries with 250 ml HC- A at 2 - 4 ℃ and 10 cm H2O, and then stored in HC- A at 2 - 4 ℃ throughout preservation. Serum creatinine was measured at 1 week and 1 month after transplantation. Graft survival rates at 1 year and 3,5,10 years and mean graft survival periods were followed up. According to the cold ischemic time, the cases were divided into 3 groups; Group 1, n = 573, with cold ischemic time less than 12 h; Group 2, n = 779, with 12 to 24 h; and Group 3, n = 734, with more than 24 h. Objective: The purpose of this study is to review the clinical experience and performance of noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) method, using cell-free DNAto detect chromosomes 21, 18, 13, X, and Y abnormalities in o...Objective: The purpose of this study is to review the clinical experience and performance of noninvasive prenatal testing (NIPT) method, using cell-free DNAto detect chromosomes 21, 18, 13, X, and Y abnormalities in over 7910 clinical samples from South Korean population. Method: Pregnant women between 1st of November 2015 to 18th of February 2018, with obstetric clinical findings participated in the study. NIPT was performed based on masivelly parallel sequencing with 0.3× low coverage paired-end sequencing using cell-free DNA in maternal plasma. Further invasive prenatal testing was recommended for pregnant women with positive NIPT results. Results: Of the total 7910 participants, 7890 (99.75%) were tested for NIPT and the remaining 20 (0.25%) were below the Quality Control (QC) standards. T13, T18, XXX, XXY and XYY had 100% of sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive values (PPV) and accuracy. The overall sensitivity was 100% and specificity, PPV and accuracy of all chromosomal abnormalities with further validation were 99.92%, 94.25%, and, 99.92% respectively. Conclusion: Our NIPT results showed high positive predictive value for the detection of autosomal trisomies and sex chromosome aneuploidies in our sample cohort.展开更多

Ltd., Seoul, Korea) in Asian women. Methods: We analyzed 223 women (mean age = 35.28 ± 9.45 years and mean follow-up period = 12.03 ± 2.48 months), comprising 118 bilateral cases and 109 unilateral ones, who received breast augmentation using the BellaGel<sup>®</sup> SmoothFine at our hospital between June 4, 2018 and February 28, 2019. For safety assessment, we analyzed frequencies of postoperative complications and overall survival of the BellaGel<sup>®</sup> SmoothFine. Results: Postoperatively, complications (12 cases, 5.38%) include asymmetry (3 cases, 1.35%), hematoma (2 cases, 0.90%), hypertrophic scars (2 cases, 0.90%), wound disruption (2 cases, 0.90%), rippling (1 case, 0.45%), capsular contracture (1 case, 0.45%), stretch deformities with skin excess (1 case, 0.45%). In addition, time-to-events were calculated as 10.94 ± 0.64 months (95% CI 9.69 - 12.19) and the survival rate reached 0.290 ± 0.168 (95% CI 0.094 - 0.901) at 12 months postoperatively. Conclusions: Here, we describe our clinical experience with the BellaGel<sup>®</sup> SmoothFine. Professor Tong Xiaolin has accumulated abundant experience during many years of clinical practice and applies Rhizoma Coptidis(RC) well with the treatment of diabetes and its complications. Rhizoma coptidis is a classical natural herb which is used frequently by professor Tong Xiaolin. In this review, we summarize Tong Xiaolin's clinical experience of applying Rhizoma Coptidis(Huang Lian) in the treatment of disease from two aspects as well as introducing some traditional Chinese medical theory and clinical experience, with a prospect of guiding clinician to use RC more suitably and reasonably.
文摘Membranous nephropathy is the most common pathological type of nephrotic syndrome in adult patients.In recent years,the incidence of membranous nephropathy has been increasing year by year.The pathogenesis of membranous nephropathy has not been completely clear yet.Professor Xiaohong Cheng has accumulated a lot of clinical experience in the treatment of membranous nephropathy,and believes that the main pathogenesis of membranous nephropathy is“spleen and kidney deficiency,kidney blockage.”The main treatment method is“invigorating spleen and kidney,promoting blood circulation and clearing collaterals,”which has achieved remarkable clinical efficacy.
