In this paper, taking railway flood in Xinjiang Line of New Eurasian Continental Bridge as an example, the dynamics mechanism of railway flood has been studied by using Chaotic Theory. During study, some nonlinear features of railway flood, such as correlation dimension D2 and Kolomogorov entropy K, are analyzed based on time-series of railway flood in Xinjiang Line of New Eurasian Continental Bridge. Results show: time-series distribution of railway flood has some characteristics of Chaos dynamic system, and the variation of railway flood frequency is a definite low-dimension Chaotic attractor. The average length of Tp(Tp = 15d) calculated in this paper, which shows the time of forecasting by this Chaotic dynamic system, is close to the reality. 展开更多

Calmodulin (CAM) is involved in the regulation of a variety of cellular signaling pathways. To accomplish its physiological functions, CaM binds with Ca2+ at its EF-hand Ca2+ binding sites which induce the conformational switching of CaM. However, the molecular mechanism by which Ca2+ binds with CaM and induces conformational switching is still obscure. Here we combine molecular dynamics with targeted molecular dynamics simulation and achieve the state-transition pathway of CaM. Our data show that Ca2+ binding speeds up the conformational transition of CaM by weakening the interactions which stabilize the closed state. It spends about 6.5 ns and 5.25 ns for transition from closed state to open state for apo and holo CaM, respectively. Regarding the contribution of two EF-hands, our data indicate that the first EF-hand triggers the conformational transition and is followed by the second one. We determine that there are two interaction networks which contribute to stabilize the closed and open states, respectively. 展开更多

In this work, by controlling the positional relationship between the target and the focal point, the surface damage, shock wave phenomenon and propagation mechanism involved in the plasma generation of fused silica by millisecond pulsed laser irradiation at different focal positions were studied. Laser energy is an important experimental variable. The dynamic process of plasma was detected by optical shadow method, and the influence of surface film damage on plasma propagation and the propagation mechanism at different focal positions were discussed. The study found that the plasma induced by the pulsed laser at the focus position within 0–20 μs exploded, the micro-droplets formed around 20 μs. At the same time, a shock wave is formed by the compressed air, the micro-droplets are compressed under the action of the shock wave recoil pressure, and the micro-droplets channel phenomenon is observed in the micro-droplets. The peak velocities of plasma and combustion wave appear earlier in the pre-focus position than in the post-focus position. This research provides a reference for the field of laser processing using fused silica as the substrate. 展开更多

Submarine micro-geomorphology is a geo-morphological type occurring in shallow and surface areas of seabed. The combined relationships and distribution of the micro-geomorphology indirectly reflect coupling relationships among the sediment deposition, dynamic environment, and geomorphologic evolution.Spatial differentiation and dynamic changes in micro-geomorphology were studied based on acoustic data interpretation from a wide range(3200 km^(2))of the Huanghe(Yellow)River delta(HRD).The combination of the sub-bottom profiler and the side-scan sonar methods allowed for the identification of submarine shallow micro-geomorphologic types,as well as their scale and spatial distributions. There were seven typical micro-geomorphologic features in the shallow and surface areas of the HRD,including buried ancient channels, stratigraphic disturbances, scour troughs, sand waves, pits, erosional remnants, and sand spots. The coupling and superposition of the sediment, sediment characteristics, seabed scouring and silting, and hydrodynamic conditions of the Huanghe River had combined effects on the patterns of micro-geomorphologic types, characteristics, and ranges. From the perspective of acoustic profile interpretations, the scale, range, and spatial locations of the microgeomorphology in the HRD revealed seasonal variation characteristics, and the spatial distributions displayed significant regional differentiation characteristics. In addition, strong stratigraphic disturbances and areas with densely distributed buried ancient channels reflected the activity and instability of the submarine shallow strata.Through the interpretation of the sub-bottom profile detection data, the diversion processes of the flow paths in the lower reaches of the Huanghe River were obtained for a certain historical period in the coastal waters of the HRD.This study further clarified the relationships between the micro-geomorphologic features and spatial combinations, which is important for research on micro-geomorphologic features and their dynamic mechanisms. 展开更多

Hot compression tests were conducted on a homogenized Mg-7Gd-4Y-1Nd-0.5Zr alloy at 450 ℃ and a strain rate of 2 s-1. Dynamic recrystallization (DRX) mechanisms were investigated by optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM) systematically. The crystallographic orientation information is obtained through electron back-scattering diffraction (EBSD). The result shows that the flow stress firstly reaches a peak rapidly followed by declining to a valley, and then increases gradually again when the alloy is compressed to a strain of-1.88. DRX related to {10]2} tensile twins is extensively observed at small strains, resulting in an evident grain refinement. DRX grains first nucleate along the edges of twin boundaries with about 30~ (0001) off the twin parents. While at large strains, conventional continuous DRX (CDRX) is frequently identified by the formation of small DRX grains along the original grain boundaries and the continuously increasing misorientation from the centre of large original grains to the grain boundaries. Evidence of particle-stimulated nucleation (PSN) is also observed in the present alloy. 展开更多

This article focuses on dynamic event-triggered mechanism(DETM)-based model predictive control(MPC) for T-S fuzzy systems.A hybrid dynamic variables-dependent DETM is carefully devised, which includes a multiplicative dynamic variable and an additive dynamic variable. The addressed DETM-based fuzzy MPC issue is described as a “min-max” optimization problem(OP).To facilitate the co-design of the MPC controller and the weighting matrix of the DETM,an auxiliary OP is proposed based on a new Lyapunov function and a new robust positive invariant(RPI) set that contain the membership functions and the hybrid dynamic variables.A dynamic event-triggered fuzzy MPC algorithm is developed accordingly, whose recursive feasibility is analysed by employing the RPI set. With the designed controller, the involved fuzzy system is ensured to be asymptotically stable. Two examples show that the new DETM and DETM-based MPC algorithm have the advantages of reducing resource consumption while yielding the anticipated performance. 展开更多

The meso-dynamical behaviour of a high-speed rail ballast bed with under sleeper pads(USPs)was studied. The geometrically irregular refined discrete element model of the ballast particles was constructed using 3D scanning techniques, and the 3D dynamic model of the rail-sleeper-ballast bed was constructed using the coupled discrete element method-multiflexible-body dynamics(DEM-MFBD)approach.We analyse the meso-mechanical dynamics of the ballast bed with USPs under dynamic load on a train and verify the correctness of the model in laboratory tests. It is shown that the deformation of the USPs increases the contact area between the sleeper and the ballast particles, and subsequently the number of contacts between them.As the depth of the granular ballast bed increases, the contact area becomes larger, and the contact force between the ballast particles gradually decreases.Under the action of the elastic USPs,the contact forces between ballast particles are reduced and the overall vibration level of the ballast bed can be reduced. The settlement of the granular ballast bed occurs mainly at the shallow position of the sleeper bottom, and the installation of the elastic USPs can be effective in reducing the stress on the ballast particles and the settlement of the ballast bed. 展开更多

This paper addresses the issue of nonfragile state estimation for memristive recurrent neural networks with proportional delay and sensor saturations. In practical engineering, numerous unnecessary signals are transmitted to the estimator through the networks, which increases the burden of communication bandwidth. A dynamic event-triggered mechanism, instead of a static event-triggered mechanism, is employed to select useful data. By constructing a meaningful Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, a delay-dependent criterion is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities for ensuring the global asymptotic stability of the augmented system. In the end, two numerical simulations are employed to illustrate the feasibility and validity of the proposed theoretical results. 展开更多

Reservoir-induced earthquakes(RIEs)occur frequently in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area(TGRA)and the rock mass strength of the hydro-fluctuation belt(HFB)deteriorates severely due to the reservoirinduced seismic loads.Three models of typical bedded rock slopes(BRSs),i.e.gently(GIS),moderately(MIS),and steeply(SIS)inclined slopes, were proposed according to field investigations. The dynamic response mechanism and stability of the BRSs,affected by the rock mass deterioration of the HFB,were investigated by the shaking table test and the universal distinct element code(UDEC)simulation.Specifically, the amplification coefficient of the peak ground acceleration(PGA)of the slope was gradually attenuated under multiple seismic loads, and the acceleration response showed obvious“surface effect”and“elevation effect”in the horizontal and vertical directions,respectively.The“S-type”cubic function and“steep-rise type”exponential function were used to characterize the cumulative damage evolution of the slope caused by microseismic waves(low seismic waves)and high seismic waves, respectively.According to the dynamic responses of the acceleration, cumulative displacement, rock pressure, pore water pressure, damping ratio, natural frequency, stability coefficient, and sliding velocity of the slope, the typical evolution processes of the dynamic cumulative damage and instability failure of the slope were generalized, and the numerical and experimental results were compared.Considering the dynamic effects of the slope height(SH),slope angle(SA),bedding plane thickness(BPT),dip angle of the bedding plane(DABP),dynamic load amplitude(DLA),dynamic load frequency(DLF),height of water level of the hydro-fluctuation belt(HWLHFB),degradation range of the hydro-fluctuation belt(DRHFB),and degradation shape of the hydro-fluctuation belt(DSHFB),the sensitivity of factors influencing the slope dynamic stability using the orthogonal analysis method(OAM)was DLA>DRHFB>SA>SH>DLF>HWLHFB>DSHFB>DABP>BPT. 展开更多

This paper investigates the consensus control of multi-agent systems(MASs) with constrained input using the dynamic event-triggered mechanism(ETM).Consider the MASs with small-scale networks where a centralized dynamic ETM with global information of the MASs is first designed. Then,a distributed dynamic ETM which only uses local information is developed for the MASs with large-scale networks. It is shown that the semi-global consensus of the MASs can be achieved by the designed bounded control protocol where the Zeno phenomenon is eliminated by a designable minimum inter-event time.In addition,it is easier to find a trade-off between the convergence rate and the minimum inter-event time by an adjustable parameter.Furthermore, the results are extended to regional consensus of the MASs with the bounded control protocol.Numerical simulations show the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 展开更多

The present study addresses the problem of fault estimation for a specific class of nonlinear time-varying complex networks, utilizing an unknown-input-observer approach within the framework of dynamic event-triggered mechanism(DETM).In order to optimize communication resource utilization, the DETM is employed to determine whether the current measurement data should be transmitted to the estimator or not.To guarantee a satisfactory estimation performance for the fault signal,an unknown-input-observer-based estimator is constructed to decouple the estimation error dynamics from the influence of fault signals. The aim of this paper is to find the suitable estimator parameters under the effects of DETM such that both the state estimates and fault estimates are confined within two sets of closed ellipsoid domains. The techniques of recursive matrix inequality are applied to derive sufficient conditions for the existence of the desired estimator, ensuring that the specified performance requirements are met under certain conditions. Then, the estimator gains are derived by minimizing the ellipsoid domain in the sense of trace and a recursive estimator parameter design algorithm is then provided. Finally,a numerical example is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed estimator. 展开更多

High-energy gas fracturing of shale is a novel, high efficacy and eco-friendly mining technique, which is a typical dynamic perturbing behavior. To effectively extract shale gas,it is important to understand the dynamic mechanical properties of shale.Dynamic experiments on shale subjected to true triaxial compression at different strain rates are first conducted in this research. The dynamic stress-strain curves, peak strain, peak stress and failure modes of shale are investigated. The results of the study indicate that the intermediate principal stress and the minor principal stress have the significant influence on the dynamic mechanical behaviors, although this effect decreases as the strain rate increases. The characteristics of compression-shear failure primarily occur in shale subjected to triaxial compression at high strain rates, which distinguishes it from the fragmentation characteristics observed in shale under dynamic uniaxial compression.Additionally,a numerical three-dimensional Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar(3D-SHPB),which is established by coupling PFC3D and FLAC3D methods,is validated to replicate the laboratory characteristics of shale. The dynamic mechanical characteristics of shale subjected to different confining stresses are systematically investigated by the coupling PFC3D and FLAC3D method. The numerical results are in good agreement with the experimental data. 展开更多

With the development of renewable energy technologies such as photovoltaics and wind power,it has become a research hotspot to improve the consumption rate of new energy and reduce energy costs through the deployment of energy storage. To solve the problem of the interests of different subjects in the operation of the energy storage power stations(ESS)and the integrated energy multi-microgrid alliance(IEMA),this paper proposes the optimization operation method of the energy storage power station and the IEMA based on the Stackelberg game.In the upper layer,ESS optimizes charging and discharging decisions through a dynamic pricing mechanism. In the lower layer,IEMA optimizes the output of various energy conversion coupled devices within the IEMA,as well as energy interaction and demand response(DR),based on the energy interaction prices provided by ESS.The results demonstrate that the optimization strategy proposed in this paper not only effectively balances the benefits of the IEMA and ESS but also enhances energy consumption rates and reduces IEMA energy costs. 展开更多

Considering the widening of the peak-valley difference in the power grid and the difficulty of the existing fixed time-of-use electricity price mechanism in meeting the energy demand of heterogeneous users at various moments or motivating users, the design of a reasonable dynamic pricing mechanism to actively engage users in demand response becomes imperative for power grid companies. For this purpose,a power grid-flexible load bilevel model is constructed based on dynamic pricing, where the leader is the dispatching center and the lower-level flexible load acts as the follower.Initially,an upper-level day-ahead dispatching model for the power grid is established, considering the lowest power grid dispatching cost as the objective function and incorporating the power grid-side constraints. Then, the lower level comprehensively considers the load characteristics of industrial load, energy storage, and data centers, and then establishes a lower-level flexible load operation model with the lowest user power-consuming cost as the objective function. Finally, the proposed method is validated using the IEEE-118 system, and the findings indicate that the dynamic pricing mechanism for peaking shaving and valley filling can effectively guide users to respond actively, thereby reducing the peak-valley difference and decreasing users’purchasing costs. 展开更多

The heating and laser welding method both require long joining time. Based on super deformation method, a 7-bar and 2-slider mechanism was developed in Japan, and the joining time is less than 0.5 s, however the length of each bar are not reported and this mechanism is complex. A relatively simple 6-bar and 1-slider mechanism is put forward, which can realize the shearing and extrusion motion of the top and bottom blades with a speed approximately equal to the speed of the metal plates. In order to study the kinematics property of the double blades, based on complex vector method, the multi-rigid-body model is built, and the displacement and speed functions of the double blades, the joining time and joining thickness are deduced, the kinematics analysis shows that the initial parameters can't satisfy the joining process. Hence, optimization of this mechanism is employed using genetic algorithm(GA) and the optimization parameters of this mechanism are obtained, the kinematics analysis show that the joining time is less than 0.1 s, the joining thickness is more than 80% of the thickness of the solid-state metal, and the horizontal speeds of the blades are improved. A new mechanism is provided for the joining of the solid-state metal and a foundation is laid for the design of the device. 展开更多

According to the investigations on the oil and gas pipelines such as the Lan-Cheng-Chong pipeline and the Southwest pipeline, there are two ways of laying pipeline: pipelines paralleling (approximately) to the main slide direction and pipelines perpendicular (approximately) to the main slide direction. If earth-retaining walls have been built for pipelines paralleling to the main slide direction, they will prevent the lands from sliding; On the contrary, without earth-retaining walls, the sharp broken rocks in the backfilling soil will scratch the safeguard of the pipeline when the landslides take place. Pipelines perpendicular to the main slide direction can be classified into four types according to the relative positions between pipelines and landslides: Pipelines over the slide planes, pipelines inside the fracture strips of slide planes, pipelines below the slide planes and pipelines behind the backsides of landslides. The different dynamical mechanisms of the process in which landslide acts against pipelines are analyzed based on whether the pipelines are equipped with fixed frusta, because the sliding resistance depends on whether and how many fixed frusta are equipped and the distance between frusta. 展开更多

Continent subduction is one of the hot research problems in geoscience. New models presented here have been set up and two-dimensional numerical modeling research on the possibility of continental subduction has been made with the finite element software, ANSYS, based on documentary evidence and reasonable assumptions that the subduction of oceanic crust has occurred, the subduction of continental crust can take place and the process can be simplified to a discontinuous plane strain theory model. The modeling results show that it is completely possible for continental crust to be subducted to a depth of 120 km under certain circumstances and conditions. At the same time, the simulations of continental subduction under a single dynamical factor have also been made, including the pull force of the subducted oceanic lithosphere, the drag force connected with mantle convection and the push force of the mid-ocean ridge. These experiments show that the drag force connected with mantle convection is critical for continent subduction. 展开更多
