The design is a portable distortion degree tester, based on Field-Progranmmble Gate Array (FleA, EP2C20) as the cote, using harmonic analysis method which better solve the distortion problem of acctwacy. It can achieve the signal transformation from the time-domain to the frequency-donkain, and is widely used for signal spectrum analysis. All the componets used in the design are low power, high perf-, low drift and industrial grade compionents. The reference voltage sources of ADC and DAC have identical performance of high stability, high precision. The dtr.k is the precise stable clock with FPGA temperature compensation. The steady state measurement mathe- matic model of the apparatus is built u...A new water-cooling Gardon-type heat power measuring apparatus is designed to meet the need of heat power source management and distribution. The steady state measurement mathe- matic model of the apparatus is built up in theory and the system amplification coefficient is defined as the ratio of the heat power to the temperature difference of the device, with which the value of the measured source power can be calculated easily with the corresponding temperature difference. In order to obtain an optimal heat power measuring system, the coefficients that can influence the relationship between the amplification coefficient, the temperature difference, and the heat power are analyzed. On the basis of these analyses, a set of experimental device is constructed and a num- ber of experiments are carried on. Compared with the input heat power sample data, the error of the experimental measuring results is less than 4-2%, and the experimental measuring values are in good agreement with the calculated theoretical ones. The heat power measuring apparatus can be applied in heat flux or heat power measurement in other fields due to its simple structure and high accuracy.展开更多

In the novel approach to the diagnostic tests of continuous welded rail (CWR) track by the use of the tamping machine, the fundamental statement related to the recording of the curvature with a definite value of the...In the novel approach to the diagnostic tests of continuous welded rail (CWR) track by the use of the tamping machine, the fundamental statement related to the recording of the curvature with a definite value of the lateral displacement being subjected to verification, can provide a basis for the determination of the longitudinal axial force in the rail. An attempt has also been made to define an alternative factor which by means of the measured signals, could be used for the determination of the axial forces in the rail sections. A power engineering approach has been adopted to this concept. Within the framework of the experimental investigations, measurements were carried out in the track test section. The investigations were based on stretching the rail sections by stretchers and on lateral displacements of the track by the tamping machine. The operation of the measuring apparatus was also tested in the experimental railway track section while carrying out the geometrical adjustments by the tamping machine. As a result of next series of the investigation carried out in 2006-2007, the authors worked out a procedure of estimating the longitudinal forces in rails of CWR track.展开更多

Aiming at the difficulties in the bed load measurement, this paper develops a bottom-mounted monitor to measure the bed load transport rate by adopting the sedimentation pit method and resolving such key problems as weighing and desilting, which can achieve long-time, all-weather and real-time telemeasurement of the bed load transport rate of plain rivers, estuaries and coasts. Both laboratory and field tests show that this monitor is reasonable in design, stable in properties and convenient in measurement, and it can be used to monitor the bed load transport rate in practical projects.展开更多

A novel measurement method is demonstrated for optical zoom magnification measurement in this paper. The magnification is obtained by pattern correction between barcode image formed by optical zoom and reference image generated by an ideal optical model. Measurement accuracy which is better than 0.06% has been achieved for optical zoom magnification. Compared with traditional concept, the measurement results are only dependent on two line edges. The barcode correlation method can achieve higher accuracy and better robustness by using the information over the whole field of view.展开更多

Using this apparatus, the slubilities of N_2 and CO_2 in some solvents have been determined in the temperature range between 20 and 230℃, and at pressures up to 130 atm. The experimental results obtained generally agree well with literature values. It is shown that this apparatus is reliable; attainment of equilibria needs only about 5 hours; precision of the measure- ments is ±0.2%.展开更多
