In recent years, smart textiles have attracted the attention of scholars from all walks of life, but there is an imbalance between functionality and usability, which affects their marketization process.Firstly, five representative smart textiles are introduced and their respective wearability is described around preparation methods.Secondly,it is concluded that the preparation methods of smart textiles can be divided into two categories:fiber methods and finishing methods. The fiber methods refer to making smart fibers into smart textiles.Textiles made by fiber methods are breathable and feel good in the hand, but the mechanical properties are influenced by the production equipment, and the process cost is high. The finishing methods refer to the functional finishing of ordinary textiles.Although the finishing method is simple and convenient,it may reduce the comfort of the textile. Finally, applications and new research in various fields of smart textiles are presented with promising prospects. It is anticipated that this review will serve as a theoretical basis for future research and development of smart textiles.Researchers are expected to create new technologies to overcome the tension between functionality and usability,as well as to increase user comfort and convenience. 展开更多

The purpose of this study was to develop liposomal formulations of Asparagus racemosus root extract(AR1-6)as well as evaluate the physicochemical properties and in vitro tyrosinase inhibitory activity.Liposomes composed of AR1-6 to lipid weight ratio of 1:10 and lecithin(LEC)or Phospholipon90G(PC90G)as structural phospholipid at 7:3 molar ratio to CHOL were prepared by various methods,i.e.chloroform-film(CF),reverse-phase evaporation(REV),polyol dilution(PD),and freeze-drying of monophase solution(MFD)methods. The results revealed that vesicles prepared by CF and MFD were multilamellar whereas those prepared by REV and PD were oligolamellar in nature with particle sizes ranging from 0.26 to 13.83 mm.The zeta potentials were in the range of1.5 to39.3 mV.AR1-6 liposomes with LEC possessed significantly higher entrapment than those with PC90G.The highest entrapment efficiency and in vitro tyrosinase inhibitory activity of 69.08%and 25%,respectively,were obtained from liposomes having LEC and prepared by PD method. The tyrosinase inhibitory activity were in the rank order of LEC>PC90G,and PD>CF>REV>MFD.It could be concluded that the mechanism of vesicle forming in each method of preparation was the key factor influencing physicochemical properties, particularly vesicle type, size, surface charge, and entrapment, which were well correlated with the biological activity. 展开更多

This paper presents the results of triaxial tests conducted for the investigation of the influence of geotextiles on stress-strain and volumetric change behaviour of reinforced sandy soil. Tests were carried out on loose sandy soil. The experimental program includes drained compression tests on samples reinforced with different values of both geotextiles layers (Ng) and confining pressure (σ′c). Two methods of preparation were used: air pluviation (AP) and moist tamping (MT). Test results show that the geotextiles induce a quasi-linear increase in the stress deviator (q) and volume contraction in the reinforced sand. Method of preparation significantly affects the shear strength; samples prepared by the air pluviation method and mobilized deviator stresses are significantly higher than those prepared by moist tamping method. Geotextiles restrict the dilation of reinforced sandy soil and consequently the contraction increases. The mobilized friction angle increases with increasing number of layers and decreases with increasing initial confining pressure. Samples prepared by moist tamping present mobilized friction angles significantly lower than those prepared by air pluviation method. For samples prepared by the air pluviation method, the secant modulus at ε1=1% and 5% decreases with increasing geotextile layers; those prepared by the moist tamping method, secant modulus at ε1=1% and 5% increases with increasing number of geotextile layer sand confining pressure. From 10% axial strain, secant modulus increases with increasing inclusions of geotextile layers. 展开更多
