To eliminate thermal stress and cracks in the process of laser cladding, a kind of bioceramic coating with gradient compositional design was prepared on the surface of Ti alloy by using wide-band laser cladding. And effect of Y2O3 content on gradient bioceramic composite coating was studied. The experimental results indicate that adding rare earth can refine grain. Different rare earth contents affect formation of HA and β-TCP in bioceramic coating. When the content of rare earth ranges from 0.4% to 0.6%, the active extent of rare earth in synthesizing HA and β-TCP is the best, which indicates that “monosodium glutamate” effect of rare earth plays a dominant role. However, when rare earth content is up to 0.8%, the amount of synthesizing HA and β-TCP in coating conversely goes down, which demonstrates that rare earth gradually losts its catalysis in manufacturing HA and β-TCP. 展开更多

The influence of oxygen content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Ti-23Nb-0.7Ta-2Zr (at%) alloy in as-cast and cold-rolled states was investigated systematically in this paper. It is found that the alloy containing oxygen element is only composed of a single β phase, while the alloy without oxygen element consisted of β and α phases. Although the grain size becomes larger, the elastic de-formation ratio, strength, and hardness of the alloy are all increased with an increase of oxygen content. The as-cast alloy has excellent plastic deformation ability, but the cold-rolled alloy containing oxygen element exhibits brittle characteristics. A conclusion can be drawn that oxy-gen element can stabilize β phase, inhibit the phase transformation from β to α , and furthermore help to increase the strength and elastic de-formation ability of the alloy. 更多 展开更多

Vacuum brazing experiments of Cf/C composites were carried out using pure Al and Al-5 Ti-B as brazing fillers , and shearing strength of the joints was measured. The microstructures of the brazed joints were studied by means of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer. The results indicate that the brazing temperature is the important processing parameter affecting the quality of the brazed joints. Vacuum brazing of Cf/C composites can be achieved employing the pure Al and AI-S Ti-B brazing fillers at a brazing temperature of 730 ℃ or 750 ℃ , respectively. Moreover, the joints have excellent microstructures with shear strength reaching the level of practical applications. 展开更多
