A necessary and sufficient condition on the existence of orthogonal vector-valued wavelets is given by means of paraunitary vector filter bank theory. An algorithm for constructing a class of compactly supported orthogonal vector-valued wavelets is presented. Their characteristics is discussed by virtue of operator theory, time-frequency method. Moreover, it is shown how to design various orthonormal bases of space L^2(R, C^n) from these wavelet packets.展开更多

The method of multiple scales was used to determine the equations of modulation of amplitude and phase. The one peak probability density function of each of the two stable stationary solutions was calculated by the linearization method. These two one-peak-density functions were combined using the probability of realization of the two stable stationary solutions to obtain the double peak probability density function. The shell studied here consists of three layers, of which the o...In this article, the nonlinear dynamic responses of sandwich functionally graded(FG) porous cylindrical shell embedded in elastic media are investigated. The shell studied here consists of three layers, of which the outer and inner skins are made of solid metal, while the core is FG porous metal foam. Partial differential equations are derived by utilizing the improved Donnell's nonlinear shell theory and Hamilton's principle. Afterwards, the Galerkin method is used to transform the governing equations into nonlinear ordinary differential equations, and an approximate analytical solution is obtained by using the multiple scales method. The effects of various system parameters,specifically, the radial load, core thickness, foam type, foam coefficient, structure damping,and Winkler-Pasternak foundation parameters on nonlinear internal resonance of the sandwich FG porous thin shells are evaluated.展开更多

On the other hand, pointwise estimates for sharp maximal function of two kinds of maximal vector-valued multilinear singular integrals and maximal vector-valued commutators are also established. By the weighted estimates of a class of new variant maximal operator, Cotlar's inequality and the sharp maximal flmction estimates, multiple weighted strong estimates and weak estimates for maximal vector-valued singular integrals of multilinear operators and those for maximal vector-valued commutator of multilinear singular integrals are obtained.展开更多
