The reliability evaluation includes characters such as long test period,high cost,and high power loss and so on. Based on the principle of energy-saving and power recovery,a small sample hydraulic pump reliability test rig is built,and the service life of hydraulic pump is predicted,and then the sampling period of reliability test is optimized. On the basis of considering the performance degradation mechanism of hydraulic pump,the feature information of degradation distribution of hydraulic pump volumetric efficiency during the test is collected,so an optimal degradation path model of feature information is selected from the aspect of fitting accuracy,and pseudo life data are obtained. Then a small sample reliability test of period constrained optimization search strategy for hydraulic pump is constructed to solve the optimization problem of the test sampling period and tightening end threshold,and it is verified that the accuracy of the minimum sampling period by the non-parametric hypothes is tested. Simulation result shows it could possess instructional significance and referenced value for hydraulic pump reliability life evaluation and the test's research and design.展开更多

The con...To improve the energy efficiency of a direct expansion air conditioning(DX A/C) system while guaranteeing occupancy comfort, a hierarchical controller for a DX A/C system with uncertain parameters is proposed. The control strategy consists of an open loop optimization controller and a closed-loop guaranteed cost periodically intermittent-switch controller(GCPISC). The error dynamics system of the closed-loop control is modelled based on the GCPISC principle. The difference,compared to the previous DX A/C system control methods, is that the controller designed in this paper performs control at discrete times. For the ease of designing the controller, a series of matrix inequalities are derived to be the sufficient conditions of the lower-layer closed-loop GCPISC controller. In this way, the DX A/C system output is derived to follow the optimal references obtained through the upper-layer open loop controller in exponential time, and the energy efficiency of the system is improved. Moreover, a static optimization problem is addressed for obtaining an optimal GCPISC law to ensure a minimum upper bound on the DX A/C system performance considering energy efficiency and output tracking error. The advantages of the designed hierarchical controller for a DX A/C system with uncertain parameters are demonstrated through some simulation results.展开更多

The heterostructure is formed by combining finite periodic phononic ...A new kind of one-dimensional multilayer phononie heterostructure is constructed to obtain a broad acoustic omnidirectional reflection (ODR) band. The heterostructure is formed by combining finite periodic phononic crystals (PnCs) and Fibonacci (or Thue-Morse) quasiperiodic PnCs. From the numerical results performed by the transfer matrix method, it is found that the ODR bands can be enlarged obviously by using the combination of periodic and quasi-periodic PnCs. Moreover, an application of particle swarm optimization in designing and optimizing acoustic ODR bands is reported. With regards to different thickness ratios and periodic numbers in the heterostructure, we give some optimization examples and finally achieve phononic heterostructure with a very broad ODR bandwidth. The result provides a new approach to achieve broad acoustic ODR bandwidth, and will be applied in design of omnidirectional acoustic mirrors.展开更多

Ascertaining the essentials behind the coraplex problems is very important, in this paper, we mainly study various complex relations appearing in the optimal exploitation process for renewable resources. First, we derive a sufficient condition on the existence of optimal harvesting policies for one-species population resources. Then we present every possible optimal harvesting pattern for such a modeh On the basis of this, we give a computing formula for estimating the optimal harvesting period, optimal transitional period, and optimal recruitment period. The main difference with respect to the previous works in literature is that our optimal harvesting policy is a piece-wise continuous function of time t, at the piecewise point to, which is called switching time. At the switching time we switch the harvesting rate from h to some transitional control u,, then to 0. Clearly this kind of harvesting policy is easier to carry out than those by others, provided that there exists a managing department which can highly supervise the resources.展开更多
