This technique is based on the unique ability of recovering the phase of the generated CARS signal based on holographic recording. By capturing the phase distributions of the generated CARS field from the sample and from the environment under resonant illumination, we demonstrate the retrieval of imaginary components in the CARS microscope and achieve background free coherent Raman imaging.展开更多

After calculating the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the Hamiltonians we also confirmed that the same symmetry of the eigenvectors also leads to the abrupt phase change and in-phase resonances that equal the transmission zero.展开更多

In order to investigate the amplitude-Nth-power squeezing of PB Phase Coherent States, we introduce the algebraic properties of the PB phase operator and the PB Phase Coherent States which are constructed by PB phase theory. We applied amplitude-Nth-power squeezing theory to define the Amplitude-Nth-Power Squeezing of PB Phase Coherent States and investigate the characteristic of the amplitude-Nth-power squeezing of PB Phase Coherent States. We obtained surprising results, in that the results were different from the other quantum states. As for |Z〉(PB Phase Coherent State), the results show that when Z is a real number there only exists amplitude-Nth-power squeezing of component; when Z is a complex number, there exists amplitude-Nth-power squeezing of component and component; when Z is a pure imaginary number, if N is odd, then there does not exist amplitude-Nth-power squeezing of component, but there exists amplitude-Nth-power squeezing of component and if N is even, then there exists amplitude-Nth-power squeezing of component, but there does not exist amplitude-Nth-power squeezing of component.展开更多

The laser field is composed of a fundamental component and its second harmonic. The incoming and out going states of electron are described by the Volkov wave functions, and the electron-target interaction is treated as a screening potential. Numerical results for differential cross section of multiphoton processes vs the phase difference between the two components of laser field are discussed for several scattering angles and impact energies.展开更多

Through modulating Zeeman sublevels with an ac magnetic field, not only a phase sensitive detection scheme suitable for miniature magnetometer is realized, but also the detection resolution of magnetic field intensity could be improved by a factor of two. This paper gives another three non-superconductive systems that are of microscopic superconductivity. This paper demonstrates that one application of microscopic superconductivity is to establish room temperature electronics of the high-To cuprates.展开更多

This formula shows that when the transport is coherent, the potential wells of the structure are just like conductors contributing to the overall resistance. And because the resistance formula is derived based on the scattering theory, the barrier resistance will change with the number of scattering centres (i.e. the number of barriers) in the structure.展开更多

A Z-domain model targeting the pulsed laser is assembled to describe the optical interference process. An algorithm, extracting the cavity phase and pulse phases from limited data, where only the pulse intensity is available, is developed to diagnose optical cavity resonators. We also implement the algorithm on the cascaded system of multiple optical cavities, achieving phase errors less than 1.0°(root mean square), which could ensure the stability of CPS.展开更多

The three point interpolation in frequency domain is applied to obtain accurate estimate of phase difference between segments when the segmented length is not an integral multiple of the signal period. Then the segmented data are multiplied by a complex coefficient to remove the phase difference and synchronize the phases of all the segments before coherent averaging. Theoretical analysis shows that there will be a gain of 3.9 dB at most by using the modified detector. The detection performance of the incoher- ent averaging power spectrum detector (AVGPR), the phase coherent averaging detector, the modified coherent averaging detector are compared with each other by computer simulations. The results coincide basically with the theoretical analysis, which show the superiority of the modified detector to the former two detectors.展开更多

SnTe (111) thin films were epitaxially grown on a BaF2 substrate by molecular beam epitaxy. By optimizing the growth conditions and the thickness of the films, the bulk carrier density could be reduced, making it possible to detect the surface transport. Magneto-conductance (MC) measurements show a cusp-like feature around zero magnetic field, which is attributed to the weak-antilocalization effect of the transport in the topological surface state. Detailed analysis of this negative MC reveals a reduced number of transport channels contributing to the surface transport, suggesting strong coupling between Dirac valleys on the SnTe (111) surface, as a characteristic feature of the transport in the multivalley structure of topological crystalline insulators.展开更多
