Effects of Ca^(2+)concentrations on accumulations of mineral elements in the components of Pteroceltis tatarinowii 被引量:6

The bark of Pteroce/tis tatarinowii is a raw material for manufacturing XuanPaper. The effects of Ca^(2+) concentrations on the accumulation of mineral elements in the bark,leaf and root of Pteroceltis tatarinowii were studied under controlled conditions. The types ofHoagland nutrient solution with three Ca^(2+) concentrations levels (200, 400 and 600 μg·g^(-1))and a control (without Ca^(2+)) were designed to culture Pteroceltis tatarinowii. After 6 months,contents of seven mineral elements including Ca, K, Mg, Mn, Zn, Cu and Na in the root, leaf and barkwere analyzed. The results indicated that Ca accumulations content in the root, leaf and bark hadpositively relation with Ca^(2+) concentrations (200, 400, 600 μg · g^(-1)), and the order of theCa content in the three components was root>leaf>bark. Ca content in the root treated with 600 μg·g^(-1) Ca^(2+) concentrations was 5.5 times as high as that of the control, and about 1.4 times ashigh as that of the root treated in 200 and 400 μg/g Ca^(2+) concentrations respectively. On thecontrary, K and Mg contents in the root, leaf and bark were negatively related to Ca^(2+)concentrations, especially in the bark, and their accumulation trend followed the order ofleaf>root>bark. K content in the bark treated with 600 μg ·g^(-1) Ca^(2+) concentrations was 39.3%of that of the control, and was 79.0% and 91.8% of that of the bark treated with 200 μg ·g^(-1)and 400 μg ·g^(-1) Ca^(2+) concentrations respectively; Mg content in the bark treated with 600μg ·g^(-1) Ca^(2+) concentrations was 23.4% of that of the control, and was 27.1% and 35.4% ofthat of the bark treated with 200 and 400 μg·g^(-1) Ca^(2+) concentrations respectively. Comparedwith the control, the general tendency of Mn, Zn and Cu content decreased with increasing of Ca^(2+)concentrations and their contents were in the order: root>leaf>bark. Based on the results of thisstudy, the experiment has been useful for providing academic bases in improving the bark quality ofPteroceltis tatarinowii on non-limestone soil. 展开更多

The effects of Ca2+ concentrations on the accumulation of mineral elements in the bark, leaf and root of Pteroceltis tatarinowii were studied under controlled condi-tions. The types of Hoagland nutrient solution with three Ca2+ concentrations levels (200, 400 and 600 靏g-1) and a control (without Ca2+) were designed to culture Pteroceltis tatarinowii. After 6 months, contents of seven mineral elements including Ca, K, Mg, Mn, Zn, Cu and Na in the root, leaf and bark were analyzed. [Objective] This study was conducted to obtain tetraploid Pteroceltis tatar# nowii Maxim. with excellent ornamental traits. [Method] The stem apex growing points of Pteroceltis tatarinowii Maxim. were treated with different concentrations of colchicine solution for different hours to figure out a proper method and obtain poly- ploids. [Result] The most effective induction was obtained by treatment with 0.6%- 0.8% colchicine for 72 h with 34.2% mutation rate. Flow cytometry and chromosome observation of the stem apex growing point of P. tatarinowii Maxim. proved that the tetraploid plants were successfully obtained with chromosome number 2n=4x=36. [Conclusion] The result not only fills the blank of polyploid breeding of P. tatarinowii, but also provides an effective way to broaden the methods of cultivation of fast- growing, high-quality, disease-resilience, new varieties of Pteroceltis. 展开更多

In order to explore the effect of radiation breeding on new germplasm innovation of Pteroceltis tatarinowii,the dry seeds of P.tatarinowii from Lingyan Temple were used as test materials in this study,which were irradiated by ^(60)Co-γ rays with different radiation doses.The results showed that the emergence rate decreased with the increase of radiation dose,the emergence rate of low dose below 200 Gy decreased slowly,and the emergence rate of high dose above 200 Gy decreased sharply;when the radiation dose ranged from 100 to 200 Gy,the mutagenic effect of P.tatarinowii seeds was the best;and radiation obviously affected the leaf color and leaf shape of seedlings.This study provides original materials for the cultivation of new P.tatarinowii varieties and the study of color-changing mechanism. 展开更多

Pteroceltis tatarinowii is one of the native precious tree species of China and the bark is the main raw material for manufacturing Xuan paper. Based on the introduction of resource distribution and ecological characteristics of P. tatarinowii, this paper summarized current and advanced science and technology of the studies and management of this species in recent 20 years, which include the relationship between bark quality of P. tatarinowii and Xuan Paper, the key techniques related to improving seedling production and plantation productivity, and establishment of optimum silviculture patterns of P. tatarinowii. The development potential and further required study of P. tatarinowii plantations were also discussed and prospected. The paper will provide some bases for directive silviculture of P. tatarinowii plantation and sustainable development of Xuan Paper production. 展开更多
