LaF3:Ln3+ (Eu3+, Dy3+, Sm3+ and Zb3+) nanoparticles were prepared in different solvents such as water, EG (ethylene gly- col), DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) and their mixed solvents at a relatively low temperature of 150 ~C by simple chemical route. All the prepared samples showed hexagonal phase and exhibited spherical morphology. The highest ltmainescence intensity was observed for the samples prepared in EG than the samples prepared in other solvents. However, the sample prepared in water showed anomalously higher luminescence intensity than that of the sample prepared in DMSO. 展开更多

The graphene oxide powder(GOP)obtained from the spray drying process often exhibits poor redispersibility which is considered due to the partial reduction of GO sheets.The reduction of drying temperature can effectively increase the redispersibility of GOP,but result in a decreased drying efficiency.Herein,we found that the redispersibility of GOP is strongly affected by its microstructure,which is determined by the feed concentration.With the increase of feed concentration,the GO nanosheet assembly varies from the disordered stacking to relatively oriented assembly,making the morphology of the GOP transform from balllike(the most crumpled one)to flakelike(the least crumpled one),and the 0.8 mgml 1 is the threshold concentration for the morphology,structure,and redispersibility change.Once the feed concentration reaches 0.8 mg ml 1,the appearance of the nematic phase in droplet ensures the relatively oriented assembly of GO sheets to form the layered structure with a low crumpling degree,which greatly improves the polar parts surface tension of the solid GOP,making the GOP easier to form hydrogen bonding with water during the redispersion process,thus stabilizing dispersion.This work provides useful information for understanding the relationships between the morphology,microstructure,and final redispersibility of GOPs. 展开更多

Rh/ZrO2 catalyst was prepared by the impregnation method and then aged in N2 atmosphere with 10% steam at 1050℃ for 12 h. The regeneration of the aged catalyst was examined by slow cooling the catalyst in O2 following preheating at 950℃. The as-prepared, aged, and regenerated catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller specific surface area analysis, and(CO+NO) reaction activity tests, CO chemisorption, and transmission electron microscopy. The results revealed that the Rh species on ZrO2 that underwent severe sintering during the high-temperature aging process could be regenerated by the slow re-oxidation process employed herein. Owing to the remarkable increase in the degree of Rh dispersion after the regeneration process, the activity could be markedly recovered. Further investigations revealed that such a regeneration phenomenon, involving the re-dispersion of the Rh species during the slow cooling process in O2, was strongly related to the phase transformation of the ZrO2 support and the interaction between the Rh and tetragonal ZrO2 species. 展开更多

The influence of different solvents and metal ions (Li^+, Ba^2+, Bi^3+) on the crystallization behaviour, morphology and enhancement in photoluminescence intensity of Dy^3+ doped CePO4 were investigated. Highly crystalline luminescent nanophosphors of CePO4:DY^3+ re-dispersible in polar solvents were successfully prepared via a simple polyol route at 140 ℃. As-prepared Dy^3+ doped CePO4 nanophosphors prepared in EG and DMF appeared to have crystalline monoclinic phase but exhibited hexagonal phase when prepared in water and water mixed solvents, The hexagonal phase transformed to monoclinic phase after heating at 900 ℃. TEM study revealed different shapes of the synthesized nanophosphors with change of solvents. The luminescence intensity of 4F9/2→6H15/2 at 478 nm (blue) was found to be more prominent than 4F9/2→6H13/2 at 572 nm (yellow). The introduction of metal ions (Li+, Ba2+ and Bi3+) in CePO4:Dy3+ led to considerable luminescent enhancement. The nanophosphors were subsequently incorporated in polymer films of PVA which showed the characteristic emissions of Dy3+. It also served as an effective method to improve the performance of polymer materials and brought about novel properties in them. 展开更多
