While Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) and Empirical Wavelet Transform (EWT) offer valuable support for studying signal components, they also present certain limitations. This article integrates the strengths of both methods and proposes an enhanced approach that integrates VMD into the frequency band division principle of EWT. Initially, the method decomposes the signal using VMD, determining the mode count based on residuals, and subsequently employs EWT decomposition based on this information. This addresses mode aliasing issues in the original method while capitalizing on VMD’s adaptability. Feasibility was confirmed through simulation signals and ultimately applied to noise signals from vibrators. Experimental results demonstrate that the improved method not only resolves EWT frequency band division challenges but also effectively decomposes signal components compared to the VMD method.展开更多

Vibration and noise suppression smart structure is an important branch of SMS. There are several typical structures such as the cabin of an airplane, space station, the solar board of satellite and the rotor blade of a helicopter, of which the vibrations and radiation noises have bad influences on precise equipments and aiming systems. In order to suppress vibrations and noises of these structures, several algorithms are applied to the models which simulate the structures. Experiments are performed to suppress vibrations and noises by bonding sensors and actuators to the structures at the optimized locations and using computer based measurement and control systems. For the blade vibration control of a helicopter, a non contact method of signal transmission by magneto electric coupling is discussed. The experimental results demonstrate that the methods used for active control are effective.展开更多

Since usual design method for the absorbers is invalid for noise reduction, the peaks of noise power in the frequency domain as cost functions are applied. Hence, the equations for obtaining optimal parameters of the absorbers become nonlinear expressions. To have the parameters, an accelerated neural network procedure has been presented. Numerical calculations have been carried out for a plate type cantilever beam with a large width, and experimental tests have been also performed for the same beam. It is clarified that the present method is valid for reducing noise radiated from structures. As for the usual design method for the absorbers, model analysis has been given, so the number of absorbers should be the same as that of the considered modes. While the nonlinear problem can be dealt with by the present method, there is no restriction on the number of absorbers or the model number.展开更多

This paper establishes the dynamics model of vibration process based on first order mass-spring system. The corresponding Simulink model is also established to simulate vibration process in optional input excitations. The response equations are derived in sinusoidal excitations and the required electromagnetic force waves are computed in order to obtain a given vibration and shock accelerations. Last, some simulation results are given.
文摘Noise and whole-body vibration measurements were made in a Viking military vehicle to determine the variation that should be expected during repeat measures, the effect of speed(up to 60 km/h in 5 km/h increments),and during travel over different types of terrain(comprising concrete road, gravel track and rough cross-country).Measurements were made at various crew positions(including the driver and commander)in both the front and the rear cabs in the vehicles.Three translational axes of vibration were measured in each seat. Two speeds were investigated over road(35 km/h and 55e60 km/h)and gravel(20 km/h and 35 km/h)surfaces.The effect of varying speed of the vehicle on the measured noise and vibration magnitudes was also investigated. The highest sound pressure level(LAeq)of 104 dB(A)was measured at the commander’s standing position during travel over concrete road at 55 km/h.Higher noise levels occurred for a standing commander compared with when sitting on the seat.A maximum single axis frequency-weighted vibration magnitude of 1.0 m/s^(2) r.m.s.was measured on the driver’s seat during travel over track at 35 km/h.Higher vibration magnitudes occurred during travel over track compared with travel over road. Both noise and vibration exposure of crew within the Viking vehicle increased with increasing speed of the vehicle.

文摘The changes in vibration, sound, and sound quality with changes in the driving voltage of a power seat motor from 12.5 to 14.5 V were measured and analyzed, which was used in real vehicles. BSR(buzz, squeak, rattle), which occurs for the power seat mechanism during sliding operation, was also evaluated. In addition, the results were expressed in terms of sound quality metrics, which measure the RPM change and sound level versus voltage to analyze their statistical correlation. Furthermore, vibration measurement and analysis were conducted simultaneously to determine the noisiest conditions and the source of the noise. The changes in RPM and voltage of a motor, in addition to vibration and noise, were measured at the same time to determine how noise, RPM, and voltage are interrelated.

文摘Air traffic complexity is a critical indicator for air traffic operation, and plays an important role in air traffic management(ATM),such as airspace reconfiguration, air traffic flow management and allocation of air traffic controllers(ATCos).Recently, many machine learning techniques have been used to evaluate air traffic complexity by constructing a mapping from complexity related factors to air traffic complexity labels. However, the low quality of complexity labels, which is named as label noise, has often been neglected and caused unsatisfactory performance in air traffic complexity evaluation. This paper aims at label noise in air traffic complexity samples, and proposes a confident learning and XGBoost-based approach to evaluate air traffic complexity under label noise. The confident learning process is applied to filter out noisy samples with various label probability distributions, and XGBoost is used to train a robust and high-performance air traffic complexity evaluation model on the different label noise filtered ratio datasets.Experiments are carried out on a real dataset from the Guangzhou airspace sector in China, and the results prove that the appropriate label noise removal strategy and XGBoost algorithm can effectively mitigate the label noise problem and achieve better performance in air traffic complexity evaluation.

文摘In the design of the motor used for electric vehicles(EVS),vibration and noise problems are often ignored, which reduce the reliability and service life of the motor. In this paper,an interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM)with high power density is taken as an example, and its electromagnetic vibration and noise problem is investigated and optimized.Firstly, the factors that generate the electromagnetic force harmonic of IPMSM are analyzed by theoretical derivation.Furthermore, the mode and electromagnetic harmonic distribution of the motor are calculated and analyzed by establishing the electromagnetic-structure-sound coupling simulation model. Then,by combining finite element method(FEM)with modern optimization algorithm,an electromagnetic vibration and noise performance optimization method is proposed in the electromagnetic design stage of the motor. Finally,an IPMSM is optimized by this method for electromagnetic vibration and noise performance. The results of comparison between before and after optimization prove the feasibility of the method.
