[Objective] This study was to construct VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system, in order to achieve the backup transmission of real-time meteorological services in all levels of meteorol...[Objective] This study was to construct VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system, in order to achieve the backup transmission of real-time meteorological services in all levels of meteorological stations. [Method] The current situations and business requirements of municipal meteorological networks are analyzed, putting forward the idea of backup routes that using VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system as the ground transmission line. And the network structure, operation mode and the system implementation are described in detail. [Result] VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system realizes the backup of ground line. Compared with the Modem dial-up, it is more stable and with faster transferring speed. With the rapid development of communication technology and computer technology, the information transmission system will be more efficient and stable, and will play a greater role in meteorological information transmission. [Conclusion] With the continuous development of modern meteorology, various types of meteorological data increase, presenting higher demand for the meteorological information transmission system. The established VPND-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system of this study provides a solution for backup transmission of real-time meteorological services.展开更多

The method adds transmission line end currents to the circuit variables of the classical modified nodal approach. Then the matrix equation describing high-speed circuit system can be formulated directly and analyzed conveniently for its normative form. A time-domain analysis method for transmission lines is also introduced. The two methods are combined together to efficiently analyze high-speed circuit systems having general transmission lines. Numerical experiment is presented and the results are compared with that calculated by Hspice.展开更多

A retrospective review of 100 examinations performed with 2 different Small-bowel capsule endoscopy (SBCE) sys- tems (PillCam and MiroCam) was performed. The oral cavity/aero-digestive tract (i.e., tongue, uvula and/or epiglottis) was captured/identified in almost all (99%) of PillCam videos but in none of MiroCam cases, P 〈 0.0001. Furthermore, oesophageal images (i.e., from the upper oesophageal sphincter to the Z-line were cap- tured in 99% of PillCam videos (mean =1= SD, 60.5 ± 334.1 frames, range: 0-3329 frames) and in 66% of Mi- roCam cases (mean ± SD, 11.1 ± 46.5 frames, range: 0-382 frames), P 〈 0.0001. The Z-line was identified in 42% of PilICam videos and 17% of MiroCam, P = 0.0002. This information might be useful when perform- ing SBCE in patients with high risks for aspiration.展开更多

Polyphase systems belong to the third type, three phase system is the most popular among them. The purpose of this article is another attempt to build a one-wired (without ground) system--the transmission of electrical energy. In this paper an original idea of building such a system is justified, the results of simulations and laboratory modeling are presented. It is shown that the proposed method can reduce the cost of electric transmission lines, the losses in them and significantly reduce interferences.展开更多
