Deploying Picocell Base Station(PBS) throughout a Macrocell is a promising solution for capacity improvement in the next generation wireless networks.However,the strong received power from Macrocell Base Station(MBS) ...Deploying Picocell Base Station(PBS) throughout a Macrocell is a promising solution for capacity improvement in the next generation wireless networks.However,the strong received power from Macrocell Base Station(MBS) makes the areas of Picocell narrow and limits the gain of cell splitting.In this paper,we firstly propose a Dynamic Cell Range Expansion(DCRE) strategy.By expanding the coverage of the cell,we aim to balance the network load between MBS and PBS.Then,we present a cooperative Resource block and Power Allocation Scheme(coRPAS)based on DCRE.The objective of coRPAS is to decrease interference caused by MBS and Macrocell User Equipments,by which we can expand regions of Picocell User Equipments.Simulation results demonstrate the superiority of our method through comparing with other existing methods.展开更多

The δ18O and 8D values of gypsum crystallization water together with δ18O and 834S of sulfates were used as reliable techniques to study source of sulfur and mode of gypsum formation in selected central Iraqi soils....The δ18O and 8D values of gypsum crystallization water together with δ18O and 834S of sulfates were used as reliable techniques to study source of sulfur and mode of gypsum formation in selected central Iraqi soils. Six representative pedons on different geologic units were studied. The slope of 3.9 for δ18O and 8D plot of gypsum crystallization water showed that evaporation was the major process of gypsum deposition in the study area. The mean 834S value of +17.58 %0 showed that Cretaceous sea sulfate followed by Tertiary is the source of sulfur in studied soils. The heavier 834S value (+17.58 %0) of the study area compared to central Iran (+13.5 %) proved that gypsum in central Iraq soils has been formed in the later stage of evaporation and that Iraqi landforms were cut off from the Tethys seaway after central Iran was evolved.展开更多
Based on an analytical solution for the current point source in an anisotropic half-space,we study the apparent resistivity and apparent chargeability of a transversely isotropic medium with vertical and horizontal ax...Based on an analytical solution for the current point source in an anisotropic half-space,we study the apparent resistivity and apparent chargeability of a transversely isotropic medium with vertical and horizontal axes symmetry,respectively.We then provide a simple derivation of the anisotropy paradoxes in direct current resistivity and time-domain induced polarization methods.Analogous to the mean resistivity,we propose a formulation for deriving the mean polarizability.We also present a three-dimensional finite element algorithm for modeling the direct current resistivity and time-domain induced polarization using an unstructured tetrahedral grid.Finally,we provide the apparent resistivity and apparent chargeability curves of a tilted,transversely isotropic medium with diff erent angles,respectively.The subsequent results illustrate the anisotropy paradoxes of direct current resistivity and time-domain induced polarization.展开更多
