On-line monitor items were grounded current of iron core, internal partial discharge and oil dissolved gas. Diagnostic techniques were simple rule-based judgment, fuzzy logistic reasoning and neural network distinguishing. Considering that much faults information was interactional, intellectualized diagnosis was implemented based on integrating the neural network with the expert system. Hologamous integrating strategies were materialized by information-based integrating monitor devices, shared information database on several levels and fusion diagnosis software along thought patterns. The expert system practiced logic thought by logistic reasoning. The neural network realized image thought by model matching. Creative conclusion was educed by their integrating. The diagnosis example showed that the integrative diagnostic system was reasonable and practical.展开更多

We also studied whether the underlying motility disorder could be predicted from EGG parameters. METHODS: We compared 21 parameters measured from EGG with 8 parameters measured from ADM. The ability of EGG to identify the underlying diagnosis was tested by comparing EGG parameters for each diagnosis group against other patients. The study comprised recordings from 148 patients and 125 females. Their median age was 45 (range 17-76) years. RESULTS: We found few and weak correlations between EGG and ADM. Specifically the correlation between parameters reflecting the response to meal was poor (r = -0.07, P = 0.39). The discriminatory power of EGG for underlying motility disorder was also low. Patients with slow transit constipation (STC) showed a lower postprandial power in normogastric (3.7 ± 0.5 vs 4.0 ± 0.5) and tachygastric (3.5 ± 0.4 vs 3.7 ± 0.4) regions, a lower percentage of time with normogastria [87.2 (56.5-100)% vs 95.7 (0-100)%], and a higher percentage of time with tachygastria [9.3 (0-33)% vs 3.5 (0-100)%] and bradygastria [1.8 (0-20)% vs 0 (0-17.1)%]. Patients with irritable bowel syndrome had a higher percentage of time with normogastria [96.5 (62.5-100)% vs 93.3 (0-100)%] and a less unstable dominant frequency as measured by the instability coefficient [15 (3-77) vs 24 (2-72)]. CONCLUSION: EGG and ADM seem to measure different aspects of gastric motor activity but cannot show a spatial correlation. The diagnostic value of EGG is poor, but EGG may have some value for the identification of patients with STC.展开更多

Based on the extension theory a matter-element model was established for qualitatively and quantitatively describing the fault diagnosis problem of power transformers. The degree of relation based on the dependent functions was employed to determine the nature and the grade of the faults in a transformer system. And the proposed method was verified with the experimental data. The results show that accuracy rate of the diagnosis method exceeds 90% and two kinds of faults can be detected at the same time.展开更多

The plasma was formed by action of the high voltage pulse generator (with nanosecond pulse) on the corresponding electrodes (CulnSe2 compound). The emission characteristics have been obtained for the spark discharge plasma at 3 mm interelectrode distance. It was established that the spark discharge plasma radiation was determined by decay products of the compound from which electrodes were made. The most suitable spectral lines for plasma diagnostics is atomic copper lines in the visible spectrum and atomic indium lines in UV (ultraviolet) and visible spectrum.展开更多

The normal ratios of vertebral height in one vertebral body and one with the adjacent bodies were presented. The method for measurement and its diagnostic value to osteoporotic vertebral fractures were discussed.展开更多

A special focus is set on the UHF-PD-measurement (ultra-high-frequency partial discharge measurement) because at power transformers, this diagnostic method has become more important in recent years. The current state, basics and principles of operations, proceedings as well as advantages of PD-measurement methods are covered. Furthermore problems and proposed solutions are discussed. Bushings and tap changers are not discussed in detail. In many cases, one single diagnostic method does not have the ability to sufficiently evaluate a power transformer. Therefore, a variety of diagnostic methods came up over times, which are commonly used by now. To expand the evaluation opportunities of power transformers, science strives to develop new diagnostic methods as well as to improve the existing ones. Furthermore, environmentally friendly and hardly inflammable ester liquids are examined for the use at power transformers and PD-measurement at HVDC (high voltage direct current) converter transformers as well. Potential diagnostic options and respectively current developments and findings in the field of oil-paper-insulation systems are outlined conclusively.展开更多
