With the rapid development of China＇s tourism market and the gradual improvement of people＇s pace of life, tourism has become an important way to relax people, so the proportion of tourism consumption in people＇s d...With the rapid development of China＇s tourism market and the gradual improvement of people＇s pace of life, tourism has become an important way to relax people, so the proportion of tourism consumption in people＇s daily consumption gradually increased. In the context of the continuous development of Interact technology, consumer network characteristics become more and more obvious, followed by the emergence of a new consumer groups, that is, travel network consumers. Tourism network consumers as a new consumer group develop rapidly. The rapid development of the Internet has led to the great changes in the tourism industry. However, because of the tourism developers＇ only immediate interests, wanton development of tourism base, and the weak public awareness of tourism, the environment caused serious damage. This paper elaborates the concrete manifestation of the sustainable development of tourism, analyzes the adverse effects of the tourism industry on the ecological environment in sustainable development, and puts forward effective measures to promote the coordinated development of tourism and environmental protection.展开更多

In this paper, we study the evolutionary formation of maritime clusters, in the contemporary European blue economy context. We examine pertinent factors for the sustainable development of maritime clusters, with a strong technical, service and market innovation orientation. We merely examine the significance of legislative, financial, business networking and knowledge management related components. A network or a partnership is identified as a ＂structural＂ form of social capital and a tool to empower participa...Social capital has been recognised as a factor affecting sustainable development in every discipline. A network or a partnership is identified as a ＂structural＂ form of social capital and a tool to empower participants in the networks. There is a belief that social networks can be initiated or created at every level of social capital, from micro to macro. However, the concept of community is the key component of social capital, creating both physical ties （geographical locality） and normative behaviours （sense of belonging）. Therefore, this study is intended to enhance social capital at the community or micro-level, in order to sustain tourism development in those areas, and networking is initiated to enhance social capital. Participatory Action Research （PAR） was applied to tourism development in Kon Kaen Province. Tools and techniques used during this study included： observations, preliminary meetings, community meetings, tourism audits, workshops, and network meetings. Economic globalization has promoted the formation of global production network, and correspondingly the high-quality environmental factors are reconfigured behind the physical commodities exchange. Export trade not on...Economic globalization has promoted the formation of global production network, and correspondingly the high-quality environmental factors are reconfigured behind the physical commodities exchange. Export trade not only drives China＇s economic growth, promotes industrial upgrading and technological progress, but also may have a negative impact on the environment. After reviewing and summarizing the existing relevant literatures, tire paper collects the required statistic data from 2003 to 2006 and uses the panel data model to measure the environmental effects of export trade in the Yangtze River Delta. The results show that the export trade of Yangtze River Delta has a negative impact on the environment. When the variables of economic scale, economic structure areftxed, with the export trade growth of 1%, the industrial sulfur dioxide emission and industrial waste water emtsston will increase by 0.12% and 0.23% respectively. So we must pay serious attention to the negative effects, and promote regional sustainable development rapidly through adjusting the export structure and strengthening environmental regulations.展开更多

Literature on geography of the enterprise includes spatial expansion of the enterprise, industrial location, firm's networks, industrial relocation, industrial clusters, and the relationship between industrial organizations and the environment. Studies on geography of the rural household(GRH) include the theoretical framework of GRH, the locations of rural economic activities, and the interrelation between rural households and geographical environment. Small-scale studies focus on human-land interaction from a land plot perspective, relations between specialized villages and the environment, and regional sustainable development research at site-specific scale. Micro-perspective studies on economic geography attempt to search for the basic unit of economic-geographical landscape, exploring the geographical process and the formation mechanism of geographical phenomena.
