It is of importance to study and predict the possible buckling of submarine pipeline under thermal stress in pipeline design.Since soil resistance is not strong enough to restrain the large deformation of pipeline,hig...It is of importance to study and predict the possible buckling of submarine pipeline under thermal stress in pipeline design.Since soil resistance is not strong enough to restrain the large deformation of pipeline,high-order buckling modes occur very easily.Analytical solutions to high-order buckling modes were obtained in this paper.The relationships between buckling temperature and the amplitude or the wavelength of buckling modes were established.Analytical solutions were obtained to predict the occurrence and consequence of in-service buckling of a heated pipeline in an oil field.The effects of temperature difference and properties of subsoil on buckling modes were investigated.The results show that buckling will occur once temperature difference exceeds safe temperature;high-order pipeline buckling occurs very easily;the larger the friction coefficients are,the safer the submarine pipeline will be.展开更多

After consideration of an actual situation of thickness measurement,the bearing mechanism of ultrasonic thickness meter probe has been designed on the basis of wall-climbing robot,and preliminary experiments have been carried out. The device is mainly used for thickness measurement of a large area of ship hull plate when the docking ship has been sandblasted. Efficiency and safety can be improved to finish thickness measurement by using the device.展开更多
Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate renal insufficiency in patients with chemotherapy.Methods:Prescribing chemotherapy in a regular hemodialysis patient with renal failure,and monitoring of serum drug c...Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate renal insufficiency in patients with chemotherapy.Methods:Prescribing chemotherapy in a regular hemodialysis patient with renal failure,and monitoring of serum drug concentrations to determine its safety and effectiveness.Results:Chemotherapy assessment efficiency:SD(better),hemodialysis did not affect THP treatment,their safety was guaranteed.Conclusion:The chemotherapy of renal dysfunction is not an absolute contraindication to fully assess the patient's adverse effects and tolerability,the reasonable arrangements for hemodialysis and the timing of administration can be safe and effective chemotherapy.展开更多

Therefore, the passive safety of structures is demanded. Security associations have analysed that most assaults came along with explosion and impact scenarios, which amount in 80% of assaults. Consequently, these are the extraordinary loads the structures have to be planned and designed for. To carry out such an engineering job, the engineer has to be educated in multiple disciplines as physics, material science , continuum mechanics, numerical mechanics, testing, structural engineering and related specific fields as wave propagation etc. In this paper we will concentrate on the subjects of numerical simulation and testing.展开更多
