[ Method ] The extraction and storage conditions for free radicals scavenging substances from sweet potato leaves were optimized by orthogonal test and the bioactive components in extracts were investigated by correlation analysis. [ Result] Sweet potato leaves contain the bioactive substances scavenging DPPH free radical and hydroxyl free radical. Extracting solvent species is the most important factor that influencing extraction yield. The optimal extraction and storage conditions are as following: water as solvent, pH 8.0 of extracting liquid, storage at 25 ℃. There is a good positive linear relationship between the content of total phenols in sweet potato leaves and corresponding scavenging rates against both the DPPH free radical and hydroxyl free radical. For the content of total flavones in sweet potato leaves, just a correlation with scavenging rate against hydroxyl free radical shown in test. [ Conclusion] The phenols in ex- tracts could effectively scavenge both the DPPH free radical and hydroxyl free radical, whereas the flavones in extracts can only function on the hydroxyl free radical.展开更多

[Method] Field experiments were conduced with two treatments, including watering irrigation and micro-spraying irrigation. In watering irrigation treatment, flue-cured tobacco seedlings were respectively watered by artificial root irrigation once at rosette stage(May 26) and vigorous growth stage(June 18), 1kg/plant each time; in micro-spraying treatment, flue-cured tobacco seedlings were watered by artificial root irrigation once at rosette stage(May 26), 1 L/plant. [Result]Compared to watering irrigation mode, micro-spraying irrigation could extremely significantly increase the content of main aromatic substance in middle and upper leaves.Contents of main aromatic substance non-volatile organic acids, volatile organic acids, petroleum ether extracts, neophytadiene and neutral aromatic substances in C3F tobacco leaves were improved by 24.4%, 32.6%, 20.7%, 33.8% and 26.3%, respectively; contents of main aromatic substance non-volatile organic acids, volatile organic acids, petroleum ether extracts, eophytadiene and neutral aromatic substances in B2F tobacco leaves were improved by 16.3%, 6.0%, 6.1%, 10.8% and8.1%, respectively. In addition, micro-spraying irrigation could extremely significantly reduce the nicotine content in middle and upper leaves and improve the aromatic coordination, mellow taste and smoldering property. [Conclusion] In flue-cured tobacco production, micro-spraying technology is an important means to improve the internal quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves, which can be adopted to effectively solve the problem of declining quality of flue-cured tobacco leaves resulted from the dry climate at maturation stage in seasonal frequent-drought areas.展开更多

The results showed that the isoenzymes of EST, POD and soluble protein were polymorphic. Monomorphism and polymorphism were found in isoenzymes of AMY, CAT and SOD, and monomorphism was found only in the introduced species. The isoenzymes and soluble protein of the local species are all polymorphic. The number of bands in these species were in the order of A3>A4>A1>A2. A2 is the most primary, A1 from Chad Lake is relatively primary, A3 and A4 are ad- vanced species in evolution. Cluster analysis showed that the relation between the two introduced species are the closest to each other, and so too are the two local ones.展开更多

Taking advantage of the ad-hoc structure of PGQ which imitates biologic nature of flying wild geese, a chemical plant optimization problem can be re-formulated as a combination of a multi-layer PGQ and a PGQ-Objective according to the relationship among process variables involved in the objective and constraints. Subsequently, chemical plant RTO solutions are converted into coordination issues among PGQs which could be dealt with in a novel way. Accordingly, theoretical definitions, adjustment rule and implementing procedures associated with the approach are explicitly introduced together with corresponding enabling algorithms. Finally, an exemplary chemical plant is employed to demonstrate the feasibility and validity of the contribution.展开更多
