The training of innovative talent plays a fundamental and key role in promoting the construction of the national innovation system. University experimental courses are a crucial part of developing students’ ability to integrate theory and practice, and the level of teaching reform by experimental educators directly impacts the quality of students’ innovative practice capabilities. In the process of developing hydrology experimental teaching, innovative ideas, methods, and approaches have been introduced, alongside experiences in optimizing and expanding course content and reforming experimental teaching models. Practice has shown that the implementation of new experimental teaching models can enhance students’ enthusiasm for professional learning and stimulate their innovative awareness and abilities. The practical application of hydrology experimental teaching models based on cultivating innovative practical skills provides a reference for the reform of hydrology experimental courses, achieving the goal of comprehensive education and moral development.展开更多
