It is reflected in the most representative aspect of modern musical exchange between the two countries-singing songs at school (called amusing songs at school in the earlier period in China). For both of the countries, it embodies the vicissitudes that take place when we contact the western music, namely, an absorbing and digesting process of the we-stern music. But the developing orbit in this area in the two countries is different because of the diversities in social, historical, cultural and economic respects in the two countries.
