Through the ideological and political education in this course, students’ patriotic feelings, value system and professional spirit can be cultivated, which can effectively provide help for professional learning and personality cultivation in the follow-up education process. Due to the lack of teaching case reference in the ideological and political education of engineering mechanics course, it is difficult to design the course and construct the teaching system. In view of this, while considering the knowledge system framework of engineering mechanics and the talent training direction of materials majors, this paper analyzes such issues as “which ideological and political elements to introduce”, “where to introduce them” and “how to integrate ideological and political education with professional education” in combination with teaching practice. The aim is to provide reference for the establishment of ideological and political education system of engineering mechanics course for materials majors, so as to realize the joint cultivation of students’ personality quality and professional quality.展开更多
