The results from this study show that the sediment from the mouth of the Huanghe River moves mainly to the east and then to north-east because of the density current and relict current.The grain size is coarser in the middle along this direction than that in the two sides.There is a region with abnormal values near 119°12′E and 38°03′N indicating stronger current over there than that in the surounded area.The strong density current from the River Mouth is caused by the high concentration of suspended sediment discharged from the River Mouth point source with a charactor of “flood event”.展开更多
