The resultsshow thatthe notched impactstrength σiof polymer materialsincreasedlinearly with theincrease offractured surface roughness parameter R Sin the case ofbrittle fracture atlowertesting temperature . Butthe variation ofimpact strength depends onboth R Sand the plastic deformation area in the case of ductile fracture at higher testingtemperature.
