随着网络技术的不断发展,特别是无线环境和移动设备的引入,更多的具有不同的QoS需求的业务也将在网上得以实施,这使得传统的网络级QoS保证将不能满足用户的QoS需求,自适应QoS是在应用级解决未来无线移动网络环境下用户质量需求的较好方... 随着网络技术的不断发展,特别是无线环境和移动设备的引入,更多的具有不同的QoS需求的业务也将在网上得以实施,这使得传统的网络级QoS保证将不能满足用户的QoS需求,自适应QoS是在应用级解决未来无线移动网络环境下用户质量需求的较好方法。文章针对未来网络所具有的网络异质性、用户移动性、多链路覆盖、多服务覆盖等特点,提出了一个对等结构的自适应QoS模型框架,首先分析了自适应QoS基本结构、研究内容、系统特征、环境特征等,然后提出了系统的基本功能结构,并对其进行了详细讨论,最后提出了进一步研究工作的方向。 展开更多

The improved three novel schemes of the super forward error correction (super-FEC) concatenated codes are proposed after the development trend of long-haul optical transmission systems and the defects of the existing FEC codes have been analyzed. The performance simulation of the Reed-Solomon(RS)+ Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocguenghem(BCH) inner-outer serial concatenated code is implemented and the conceptions of encoding/decoding the parallel-concatenated code are presented. Furthermore, the simulation results for the RS(255,239) +RS(255,239) code and the RS(255,239) +RS(255,223) code show that the two consecutive concatenated codes are a superior coding scheme with such advantages as the better error correction, moderate redundancy and easy realization compared to the classic RS(255,239) code and other codes, and their signal to noise ratio gains are respectively 2-3 dB more than that of the RS(255,239)code at the bit error rate of 1 × 10^-13. Finally, the frame structure of the novel consecutive concatenated code is arranged to lay a firm foundation in designing its hardware. 展开更多

The fact that the security facilities within a system are closely coupled and the security facilities between systems are unconnected results in an isolated protection structure for systems, and gives rise to a serious challenge to system security integrations and system controls. Also, the need for diversified services and flexible extensions of network security asks for more considerations and contribu?tions from the perspective of software engineering in the process of designing and constructing security systems. Based on the essence of the virtualization technique and the idea of software-defined networks, we in this paper propose a novel software-defi ned security architecture for systems. By abstracting the traditional security facilities and techniques, the proposed security architecture provides a new, simple, effective, and programmable framework in which security operations and security controls can be decoupled, and thereby reduces the software module sizes, decreases the intensity of software deve?lopments, and improves the security extensibility of systems. 展开更多

Unfortunately, Hongqiao was damaged during floods from the Yellow River, and we can only see her beautiful form in Qingming Shanghe Tu. While, the geometrical dimensions, structural principle, as well as the construction methods of the bridge are still an interesting mystery. In the present paper, the author uncovers the structural principle and the geometric dimensions of the bridge as well as its history background. Furthermore, the author introduces two new structural systems, Lap-Beam and 1.5-Layer space frame, which are inspired by the structural principle of the Hongqiao. 展开更多

Design of Dissipative Braces for an Existing Strategic Building with a Pushover Based Procedure

The research presented in this paper deals with the seismic protection of existing frame structures by means of passive energy dissipation. An iterative displacement-based procedure, based on capacity spectrum, to design dissipative bracings for seismic retrofitting of the frame structures is described, and some applications are discussed. The procedure can be used with any typology of dissipative device and for different performance targets. In this work, the procedure has been applied, with both traditional pushover (load profile proportional to first mode) and multimodal pushover, to an existing RC (reinforced concrete) frame building. In the application, the buckling restrained braces have been used in order to prevent damages to both the structure and non structural elements. The use of multimodal pushover proves to be more effective than pushover based on single mode in case of medium rise RC frame building (higher than 30 m) but, once this building is retrofitted, and therefore regularized, with a bracing system, the difference between using monomodal or multimodal pushover becomes insignificant. 展开更多
